i made this magisk module to "remove/hide" Xioami/Google apps from your ROM, i also made more than one variants, here is a list of the the variants*:

it does remove them, but without affecting system

You can download full zip, extract it and check config.sh, edit replace list to your own liking
and check this Aroma for Miui
Please, how do i make this work on my phone? i am new to xiomi phone, do i need to unlock bootloader or it can work on my phone like that (without unlocking bootloader)
Note: I have never try anything on the phone than to update since the day i have stated using the phone...

Thanks for your hard work. Please make gui version of this modules and options to choose different profiles. right now the only problem when i use full profiles i can't use youtube vanced cause it's disabled by default in this profiles.

Module Explanation:
A very simple module just to make Greenify work as a rom-integrated (privileged) app systemlessly (also known as Boost Mode), so you'll achieve the best hibernating performance it could give, and faster than using the root option only. Best part is that it doesn't need Xposed, so you'll stay with your beloved green SafetyNet check, since Xposed breaks it. It'll simply inject a folder with the apk into the path: /system/priv-app. If it shows Privileged at the app settings, then you're good. Read this for extra explanation.
* Note: You won't get any xposed-side features, since magisk is NOT xposed!
Requirements:
- Android 5.0 - 8.1.0
- Magisk v15.3+
Installation:
- This module already has the latest apk inside, just download one of zips from the mirror and install through the Magisk Manager app or TWRP. As simple as that. Or you can download and install directly through Magisk Manager "download" section.

Sorry, I don't want to be rude, but have you even read the entire OP? It says at the beggining that it's a module to get the greenify working as a previleged app which you was able to get by enabling the app at xposed (the root + boost mode) and rom-integrated, that's it and it's a greenify feature. It's not saying that you'll get any other xposed-side feature nor paid features... Please, read it properly. Thanks for the feedback btw.

I get notificated every time a new release is out on apkmirror, so, yes I'll update it everytime a release is out. I requested topjohnwu on the repo central already to get the module into the magisk manager download section, so everytime an update is out you'll receive through the app, until there, I'll send it over here
oh lawd yaasss, lol.. I was sick and tired of copying and pasting greenify as a system app after a new flash ; My life will be easier.

Just flash it if you have magisk. It will install Greenify and makes it possible to use the features for which you normally need xposed which isn't available for Nougat yet

Lemme make a quick explanation (as the topic seems to not be clear enough for some), this module will put the greenify apk inside the /system/priv-app folder, and enable the greenify privileged feature called boost mode, and you can get this by simply adding the apk inside that folder manually as well, I've created this simple module to install it systemlessly and quickly.
I hope you got it now, and I appreciate your feedback. You can support Oasis Feng amazing work (greenify's developer) as well, by buying his donation package on play store, if you wish.

You must be doing something wrong fellow. Try again, see if your magisk version is the latest (v12), or uninstall any previous greenify app installed, if you have any. I just reinstalled here the zip and it installed with no issues so far as it should be.

Let me clear to everyone that you will not be able to use xposed features !! This is a module just to make greenify as privileged app without wasting time and breaking safetynet. Thanks to the developer !!

I advise to use the default recovery and do a factory reset IF you have issues after flash!!!!
Default recovery can be extracted from update.app with Huawei Update extractor tool.
Use only ADB to flash recoverys, recovery and recovery2, then do factory reset. TWRP Factory reset doesn´t wipe all data stored in the diferent partitons from ROM.
After settings you need to reboot !!!

I think not, just do a factory reset first.

Calling it Nova may lead to confusion. The P8 Lite 2017 is called Nova aswell.

<may be a strange "root" type, but I like keeping a stock ROM, setting it up with as few bloat as necessary...
B-U-T, like keepin all functionality!!!
I'll start measuring internal storage areas, seein what can be pulled so I ca put apps I use in as "system"...
we get a layout that's acceptible to a few peeps, just need someone to build off a backup & make a flashable "CUSTOM" ROM....

Flashed optimization .zip, deknoxified, removed facebook & other unwanted apps. Will figure out how to send log files next... definitely want to see this be kept up to date & working... MOST IMPORTANT MOD after TWRP in my opinion. Those that just wish to load other phone GSI's to me is not only a waste of time it shows the desire to remove individuality from these very same devices! If they all were interchangeable, what would be the advantage to purchasing from diff vendors?

Flashed this 3 days back...
PiP works in all apps, system as well on my A305G. Did you ever send dev your log files?
I DID NOT just run with all stock 'checks' for removal. Would have to refer to list to specifically
show what I did/did not remove but it was just a couple of the Samsung, like "Gear", etc....
Removed what bloat apps didn't want & let the rest run as it was packaged & have no prob's....
Let's keep this thread alive, def donating @ end of week, this dev deserves support!!!

Hi. Maybe I didn't understand you well. This is not a rom. It is an optimizer. Everything that is checked will be uninstalled from your device. The screenshots are from the first version. Now it has improvements.

V3.0 laggy
Phone is laggy after flashing 3.0.zip. 2.8 was okay. Secure folder and camera is working okay now, but ui is not smooth anymore. and my phone is unstable

How to install iconpacks and have an unlimited trial
: leave themestore open in background install the iconpack two times in a row close themestore from history and open it again and check the icons section if it appears if you tried this many times and it still does not appear in themestore this happens mostly in Note devices than you must download Samsung theme center file from this link https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu.../samsung-themes-8-0-1-0-android-apk-download/
in marshmallow nougat or oreo you can use them without root just by disabling themes and themeservice with package disabler pro app or by force stoping themes or themeervice with killapps pro app
if you are in oneui and up you need only root to stop the time trial
Root: After you downloaded themecenter go and replace it with any root explorer to system privapp and find the ThemeCenter folder inside of that folder you find the ThemeCenter.apk and replace it with the new one set premissions of the file to 0644 reboot the device and try the install method again and this time it will appear in your themestore the same method works for Themes too. To stop the trial of themes or iconpacks to have an unlimited trial flash one of a (ThemeTrial patch) files that are inside the Trial removers.zip file flash them with twrp.
Next methot for stoping trial for rooted devices
After you apply the theme or iconpack With any root explorer go to (Data) (Overlays) (jsonfiles) (appiconjsonfiles) (trialson) and inside of that folder you find a .json file with your installed iconpacks names cut it go one time back and paste it to the (userjon) folder go again back and delete (preferences) folder reboot and done the same works for themes too but for themes you find those .json files to (data) (overlays) (jsonfiles) (trialson)
For Unrooted Devices method (Oreo and Nougat only ) inside the trial removers.zip you have the Package Disabler Pro open it wait until the license of the app will be confirmed you must be (connected to wifi for this) after that apply your iconpack or theme open Package Disabler and find these two apps ( Galaxy Themes and Galaxy Themes Service ) mark both of them and they will be disabled and trial will be stoped. You can enable them again wherever you want just by unchecking in Package Disabler. For more iconPacks update you can follow the iconPacks channel on Telegram by searching There Samsung iconpacks by DENIS

The app doesn't appear in the app drawer or in the themes section so that I can uninstall/delete. However, the phones detects it as an existing package.

Maybe changing the behaviour of selecting ALL themes when choosing a Keyboard Pack.
Also, isn't there a flag to colorize the NavBar?

Navbar flag got removed in Gboard 10.9 :/
i miss it so much. the only way now is to spoof phone to Google brand (there's test module on channel but not recommended on stock based roms)

I select a sound and tap install, but nothing happens after that I've tried rebooting, checking storage permissions, clearing cache etc. but no luck. I'm on OnePlus 8T running OOS 11.0.8.13.

seems like sounds doesn't work on some OEM roms like miui/color os/oxygen os
i've tested rboard only on aosp roms so idk about rest

I appreciate the quick response! I've read that OxygenOS is closer to AOSP than most OEM roms, so perhaps it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to get working. I would be happy to help in any way I can!

It was closer to aosp only in Marshmallow days OOS 3.1.8 was the last "aosp" version, later it was just marketing trick imo.
We will try to add support for more but it will take some time. For now we only support AOSP based roms.

nope. the "ro." props cannot be added with adb without root. (tried multiple ones still no way for non root version)
