A605F VoLTE - Samsung Galaxy A6 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I would like to know if there is any way of getting VoLTE on my A605F which I had purchased from UAE. For instance, can I flash A605G firmware on it using Odin as there doesn't seem to be a hardware difference.
Thanks

Any solution?
Were you able to find out any solution for this?

voLTE

Hi there, proud owner of N920I here.
I have been flashing plenty of roms and i realised that most of the roms lacks the voLTE feature.
I would appreciate if anyone can advice me on how to get back the stock Phone APK (Singapore Singtel) with voLTE option is the phone settings.
Thanks in advance for those being helpful ^^
Stock firmware. Or flash a rom that supports it.

I have flashed stock rom, ap/bl/csc/cp but still can't find my voLTE settings. This is really weird. I am unable to get back my stock telco rom, googling gives 0 results lolz
Same on 920i in US. Is it because either att or tm doesn't support our variant? I wish it would support samsung pay more than volte.

For my case, I have voLTE when I purchased it . After rooting and going back to stock (same firmware same CSC same modem n bootloader) I can't find it anywhere pretty weird. On stock I have 4g+ but on dr ketan rom I only get 4g. Flashing CSC and modem over doesn't change anything other than the phone apk layout lols.
Anyway, once rooted, just forget about Samsung pay.

How to change SM-N9500 CSC to T-mobile for VoLTE and Wifi Calling?

My note 8 is SM-N9500 TGY Hong Kong (Un-branded Chinese Snapdragon 835 Dual SIM, Unlocked Bootloader) How do I change the CSC in order for VoLTE and wifi calling to work with US T-Mobile?
I have the same problem. I'm very curious
I have same problem
Hello, I've seen on french forum that it's not possible
Can you guys confirm LTE works on T-Mobile in the US?
Hi!
I have also SM-N9500 csc is TGY(HONGKONG)
you can check here
http://www.phonemore.com/compare/phones/galaxy-note-8-sm-n950fd-vs-galaxy-note-8-sm-n9500/6303040
it is only Rom problem,
normaly SM-N9500 much more capable from SM-N950FD,
but i think china don't give a permissions for video calling,
and our SM-N9500 has a software barrier for this.
Are there any people will solve this problem?
Yes I also have hk sm-9500 with no video call button on dialpad and no wifi calling feature. Pls help enable them both. Thanks.
I would imagine you should be able to flash a T-Mobile N950U ROM on the 9500 if it is also Snapdragon, and that should in theory make it essentially the same as a 950U, though I am not sure if the 9500 has the right LTE bands. T-Mobile primarily uses LTE bands 2, 4, and 12 in most areas (mostly band 4 near me).
So far as I know you can use Korean Rom (N950N I guess) on N9500 but ODIN will not allow it, you need to root and flash by TWRP

This will probably brick his phone.
The 9500 is Snapdragon like the 950U, while the N and F are Exynos.
Hi Guys, did so far anyone find any solution for this issue? i'm sitting in 2019 and still looking for a solution. please help!

Changing SM-N9500 firmware to EE UK to enable VoLTE and WiFi Calling?

Hi,
I have a Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N9500) HK dual sim 128GB and want to use wifi calling and VoLTE but I can't do that on the stock firmware.
I found a few sites and forums that it is possible to use the EE UK firmware but I've no idea where to obtain it from.
Has anyone got any guides or ideas on where I can get the firmware?
Cheers.

You have n9500 - snapdragon soc.
EE UK is for n950F - exynos soc.
Not going to work! Not compatible and Odin will not flash it! It will say Fail!
Now if you are "rooted" you can flash a dev moded csc file (search for csc that will work on your n9500).

UK Oreo firmware

This is a long shot, but any chance anyone has a UK based Android 8 firmware for the XZ1C?
I know the region shouldn't make a difference, but for some reason all firmwares I've used except the UK one give me horrible WiFi hotspot performance.
I thought it was a hardware problem but strangely, I don't get the problem on Android 9 regardless of region, and on Android 8 I've only found 1 firmware that doesn't give me the problem, but it's UK EE branded.
I'm willing to try any Oreo firmwares if you might have them though. I've grabbed what I could on the forum, but a lot of links are down now. Thanks!

Flash this over the EE FW with Newflasher and see if that helps - https://tmp.androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603858389

Thanks, but I'm actually unrooted unfortunately.
The EE firmware is working OK for me, but battery drain seems awful for some reason. I lose about 60% with just 2 hours screen on. Not sure why.
