About Us:Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
Flashing Instructions:
-Verify that you're using the latest version of TWRP
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below
(A full wipe is when you wipe system/data/cache)

Thx @Alx31
It's not just this bug (which I "discovered" while taking a makro of one of my drawings, like: 'what the hell this line is much too curved, I have to correct it.. Wait... No its not curved at all' )
No it's also about the dedicated camera-button not working correctly and all the cool things like time-shift and the like.

But what is the problem with AOSP, so it can't make use of hardware as primitive as a dedicated camera-button? it's one of Z2s hardware-features, and even recovery can make use of or to load fota-recovery.
(I'm not really asking for this feature, if Devs don't mind, then it's fine. Nobody forces me to use their work)
@Alx31
i want to try and build tesla rom for my z2 but i have never build a rom before.. can u give me a quick guide how to do it?
i am on linux already

We're back in business boys!
First off, THANK YOU to those who have supported me on the Xperia SP Forums throughout the past 2 years. I would never have came to this stage without you. Secondly, I would like to thank everyone from the Xperia SP Telegram Group which comprises of people such as Boylush, AdrianDC, Anonymous and Pranav. You've been absolutely amazing throughout the years. Not to mention the other members who I have extremely had fun talking to.
As you all know, TeamRevolution has kinda disbanded due to the exam craze and I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon. On the flip side, me and boylush are still working together with the other devs and we'll try out best to provide you all roms to enjoy.
As for Dirty Unicorns, this build is EXTREMELY alpha although it is 5.1. Its been quite sometime since the last DirtyUnicorns build and damn were there many changes through the months. I will be bug fixing Dirty Unicorns and the device source code to prevent any bugs but as of now, please do realize that you will not have the features given by AdrianDC as he builds CM while DU is AOSP. They're totally different things and I hope you understand.
Other than that, get hyped because we've still got a long way to go!
Cheers

Thanks for the notification. Alright so the backlight issue is there and there's problems with backlight for the xsp for du. Will see if there's a fix
Thumbs up man [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106] is it finally official??
Damn I should get back here sooner
Backlight issues are still fairly difficult to fix. Mainly due to liblights interfering with the backlight. Expect notification lights to not work in the next build.
This thread will be closed as I take over rr.

They are working into porting it to 7.1 atm so I don't think you should waste too much time with this build.
But still, thanks for your work, I'll gladly use future DU builds if they are avaliable.

Nope, afaik 7.1 ****ed media stack in caf devices, IMO 7.1 is meant for pixel devices. However cm is doing a good job rebasing, maybe they will fix the derps and we'll see a good 7.1 build in the near future. Or we could just wait for the full rollout of 7.1 in December.

Backlight seems to be a standard issue in all nougat Roms. You can use the app from the play store to control backlight. But the buttons work fine.

You should add that to the second post then mate, knows issues with easy fixes are fine, but we should make sure that users are aware about them, even when they don't look that important.
I'm going to try the ROM in a few hours and I will try to give a smuch feedback as possible.
I'm using a custom built DU ROM atm and the only problem are light on buttons(fixed with a play store app) and torch tile, that doesn't always work, need to test in this ROM.
Again, thanks for your wok, ROM is looking great atm.

Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name.

On my US997 I can seem to focus well enough while only one camera works but at the same time I'm not really a good cameraman. I would say yes but if the bug is present in official lineage then its most likely present here.

better flash supersu right after rom flashes... no problem here
---------- Post added at 07:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:02 PM ----------
OP: Can we port stock LG6CameraApp.apk ? I copied stock files into //system/private-app/lg6camera ... seems It´s not good workaround. I wanted to figure out if focus would work in stock lg app.

From what I've seen and tried is the camera was tied into frame works because I have been really wanting to use wide angle on aosp personally but I'll probably dig into that here shortly. As far as focusing goes @Rashed97 has probably been slaving many of hours into that issue

I would personally recommend magisk because it restored safetynet in the rom.

Anyone else's speakerphone not working? When I put it on speaker the other person can't hear me, like the mic turns off or something.
