Hi guys. I have bee checking around for a budget phone and stumble on the Umidigi Z2 ... Still I'm afraid if there won't be many custom roms or updates ? My friend bought a ZUK Z2 a year ago and I was really impressed ...
The Xiaomi M2 confused me as it did not have any memory card slot ?

Just want to hear you inputs and what's best to buy for $200-$350 today ? For me its most important that the phone will be "known" so people go on doing roms for it if its a China phone so to say ... =)

It´s with great sadness and happiness I´m leaving the O2X forums.
I will miss all you great helpful people.
This is the far most helpful subforum and I´m now leaving root and custom ROMs behind me, atleast for a while.
BTW, I ordered a Sony Xperia Acro S today, I don´t think I´ll be disappointed!

In 2017 i have buy a brand new XZ1 compact cause i really love the small size, double speakers and the disign in general.
Mr Modpunk from XDA just start to find a solution to install TWRP in this time, but i'm not patient (it's a problem for me)
I was very happy with this phone BUT it was impossible for me to use a phone with ads and bad firmware SO i resell my precious :crying: .
From 2017 to 2020 i use differents phones but today i have a S10e from samsung, it's good BUT the XZ1C miss me too much so... i buy a brand new XZ1C from china and you know what ? This morning i receive a packet ! THE XZ1 COMPACT :highfive: !
I actually see a lot of Roms and tricks on the forum compare to 2017, it's wonderful ! But ! i'm scared ! From 2017 to today i use the stock firmware on my S10e with private dns to skip the ADS, so now i'm a noob, i don't want to put my precious (new XZ1C) on the trash.
