My 1st post in this thread.
Does any one know or recommend a rom that has wifi tethering built in for the Note?
Is this function even possible on a unlock Note
Thank you.

Wrong section that is the development forum.
Even with stock rom you can do tethering. Look into the settings.

Sorry about the wrong section. Mods please move. Thanks.
Do you know if the stock rom tether is for free and undetectable per carrier otherwise I am looking for a rom can take advantage of using my data for free?

yes the stock wifi tether is for free
but you need an internet connection active then you share it as much as you wish
Free? I think it depends on your contract. Not everyone has unlimited bandwidth.
on the other hand, using it via tethering or with your phone is not reported by Android to carrier.

Cyanogenmod installer

I'm curious, is anyone experiment with the installer app, despite lacking device support

Sorry to say the installer app doesn't do anything magical - it just installs the matching cyanogenmod onto your phone. Since there is no official release for the active, it just won't work.
Right, but I know we've been experimenting with running s4 mods through safestrap. I was curious if anyone had tried something similar to experiment. Of course, they don't have the at&t s4 as supported either, so...

Unable to post in XDA app

Hello! I don't know if it's the right place for this post, but I'm unable to find any other place.
I am unable to start a thread in XDA app. The post won't gets pasted. Clicking on the arrow to post the thread just won't do any thing. But I'm able to post in the already running threads.
Any reason for this?
