I think Camcorder is working partially in Footage & modded Gcam, so please mention that

Man, try check the APN, in some ROMs doesn't find automatically depending on your SIM Card. in pixel experience for example I need to put APN manually every Time I do a Clean Flash. I don't know if this issue is happening only in my device.

Is there a way to turn off data activity?

First of all, a big thank you to the developers who've invested their valuable time for keeping osprey devices exciting to use. I've some questions to ask. Apologies if certain questions were not supposed to be asked.
- How is the ROM general? Is it stable enough for daily driver usage? How is the battery life ?
- Are there any known issues that any one of the users experienced so far?
- Will this ROM receive OTA updates? Does unofficial / offical stages affect the usage of the ROM?

Don't have helium to test. I normally don't release a ROM till I am happy that beta builds are also pretty stable....
If someone with helium want to be a tester I don't mind.

(It would be necessary to have a fix, after which all 8 CPU cores would work.)

Yes, confirm. Redwolf and Magisk 16.0 and this ROM hate each other.

I have install that ROM + PicoGAPPS + Magisk 16.3 Beta on my Hydrogen.
Magisk has errors via flashing but I have wipe cashes, reboot to recovery an flash Magisk again sucsessfuly.
After that I have launch system and found that good 64 Gb ExFAT microSD became "Corrupted".
No problem, Nijel's LOS 14.1 backup is always ready for reverting =)

What is your problem?
If you can't enter system after restoring You have lost lockscreen password or lockscreen pattern. This case is not a proberm.
There are two ways to solve it from recowery:
Enter Nijel's TWRP - Advansed - More... - Reset Lockscreen
If you have no Nijel's TWRP. Enter another TWRP - Advansed - File Manager. Go to /data/system/ and erase 5 files there:
gatekeeper.password.key
gatekeeper.pattern.key
locksettings.db
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db-wal
Your phone security will be switched off but fingerprints will be saved.

Did u wipe data and then the other wipes or general wipe?
I did a clean install. Wipe data and then all other wipes and then installed ROM=GAPSS+Magisk 16.3 beta all this using nijel8's TWRP and not even a single error.
Guys please try the steps I mentioned above. You should be on latest TWRP from nijel8, I didn't try it on RedWolf since I don't use it, so I can't comment on it.
Till now no one has come forward for Helium testing so sorry guys who have Helium.

very laggy transition animtions
hello rahul nice work tested you latest build may 26......... but...... the roms you made like linage os and even dot os 2.2 have extremely laggy transition animtions........
i tried few other roms but lags in dot os 2.2 is horrible............... please try to make system animations at least 16 ms...................i checked with profile gpu rendering results are terrible............please do someting the gpu is not being used up to the mark..................with lagyy system animations rom features is of no use ...... causing strain to eyes........... please look into the issue............... make sure android system ui is uing the gpu uptothemark..............
currently i am on aokp 7.1.2 rom it has not the best but respectable animations they dont lag too much can use daily..................
hope you fix this issue please make the animations smooth ....... with animations android is useless.....i would love to see a rom with buttry smooth animations for my moto g3 xt1550 2 gb.........

Hello i found out the issue in most oreo roms. , i installed kernel auditor the throttle limit was 60 degree Celsius , the GPU temperature reached 58-62 degree celecis in just normal use
so the gpu got throttled to 310 MHz instead of 435 MHz ...... when i set GPU profile to performance on kernel auditor , everything was running smooth...... and gpu frequency was locked at 435 Mhz
This never happened in nougout roms for moto g 3....
i think adreno 306 cant handle the transparent ui and animations very well....
is there a solution for this gpu throttling because this issue is there in every oreo rom i installed
what i did is i reverted to dark black theme in oreo now lags are less noticeable also uninstalled google app i guess its very heavy for the cpu

It has auto call recording.
Although Contact and Phone have a black background in dark mode, Messaging background is still white.
Smart Charging is present (it works like Battery Charge Limit).

pardon the newb question but could someone help me out , am currently on A2017U B20 stock oreo , rooted with magisk. just what exactly do i need to flash this pie rom? am just a bit confused with modems , bootstacks , etc. coming from a m8 which seems alot more straightforward. thanks for any help.

Did a clean install /wiped everything
I used 3 different vendors / Nfound / Speedy / Los16 boot & vendor combo
issues im facing ....
Glitches threw out the system like FC / Restarting =(
my install setup Wiped everything / installed gapps / Magisk 19.3 / reboot
im able to boot and start the rom with setup n everything just when i reboot the glitched start ...
i would really like to use this as a daily driver ...
ANY HELP WOULD BE WELCOMED

You don't need to flash Vendors, you only need to have a clean vendor partition.

1. Copy Rom, gapps zip and Magisk 19.3 to your device
2. Boot into twrp recovery
3. Wipe both cache, system, vendor , data , internal storage then format data / Reboot to recovery
4. Flash ROM
5. Flash gapps
6. Flash Magisk 19.3
7. Reboot and enjoy !

I was on a fast run flash lol had to rush to work .. Anywhom yes to the latest twrp with treble :good: also it always good to wipe vendor when installing a new rom unless its not needed
Here's my Pros & Cons
Pros .... tons on tweaks / fast / stable great battery life BUTTTTTTTTTTT
Cons .... Even after a Full Clean Install / with no other vendor flashed once i reboot my phone after the 1st flash the systemUI bugs out like on crack keeps FC

Edited .... After a long 32 hours of tweaking lol . I found a solution to work on the 2017U Model

2nd .. Full Wipe of the phone for a clean rom install " i wiped it 3x just to be sure "
3rd .. flashed rom / gapps ect .... Rebooted / victory

I probably come too late but anyway...
I have a A2017G.
I did clean install.
I always use latest magisk (root makes me feel better).
I never install any form of gapps . I use f-droid and in the worst case yalp store.

Are you coming from MIUI or do you have storage encrypted?
If so format data before booting into rom.

Coming from MIUI I've formatted data partition, reboot into recovery again and then flash the rom
But no luck
After formatting data partition and reboot to recovery I have wiped data
If I try to flash the rom without wiping data? Only format?

I've installed google home but I cannot find the way to enable device control (power menu).

I'm happy you like the rom about power menu devices manager I'm not sure if it's already developed or implemented by superior itself, I'll check

Rom is fully working cause I personally tested.
Try clean flash if dirty flash doesn't work and remember that if you have storage encrypted you'll need to format data after flashing the rom

Thanks for the reply. I tried everything but twrp still reported an error. Never mind, I've flashed Evolution so far.

In my device is boot to the system after clean flash ok!
Everything looking good, after few hours of test, I´ll be back with some experiences.

Which recovery are you using? Just for info

Everything other looking good, but I have strange error with Google Play (I use magisk hide, safetypass say successfully) - when i want download some apk, downloading stuck before end.... Some ideas? But before that, before install magisk and hide, all apk from play from google backup installed without problems, problem is after magisk module install, it is possible?
Edit: don´t know, what exactly i did, but Play download working now correctly.
