Is it possible to backup the ringtones, alarm tones etc. of the stock rom to be able to use them in custom rom?

Who knows where they MIUI ROM copy sounds to your custom ringtone? I ask because it can attach ringtones to contacts. Let me select them but not save them.

you can do it yourself extracting it from a downloaded stock rom.
Hey guys. I'm trying to figure out a way to get the notification sounds from my Incredible S to my Nexus 4. I have been unable to copy them off the phone itself and I can't find downloadable copies from the web. Closest I've found are sounds from the Incredible, which aren't the same. Can anyone lend a hand? Oh and not sure if this matters but it's running Nik's Project X ICS Rom 4.1. I know I sound like a noob but the HTC was a phone I borrowed from a friend. Thanks.
Go into the .zip of the ROM then System > Media > Audio > Notifications.
And there you go - all notification sounds from PX

Hey guys. Sony Xperia using very outdated android ringtones and notifications. Here is Latest Google Sounds apk (2.0.1) which is finally working perfectly on our Xperia 1. (Old version was not)

Download it on a pc and transfer it in. I had the same problem on the mobile app.
