Why Camera app most recent picture is not from DCIM/Camera folder? - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Hi,
If I tap on a most recent picture in my Camera app it opens and let's me scroll pictures from WhatsApp images folder.
But not from Internal Storage/DCIM/Camera folder.
How could I change that?
Thanks!!!
PS: The only solution I've found - hide albums in Gallery app or use .nomedia file in those folders. But this is not a solution. I still want to access those albums but not in Camera app.

photo album settings

Does anyone know where the settings for what folders get searched for pics?
When you go to my albums it shows all icons, and such in folders in my internal memory. Pictures and all. I was wondering if there is a way for it to search for pics in the picture folders only?

[Q] Organizing photos

Is there any way to organize the photos taken by the phone camera into different folders by album or date ? Right now they all get clumped into a single folder called camera
in the gallery app u can switch so it sorts/groups by date

facebook pictures

So one of the newer features of facebook it's the ability to save photos instead of screenshotting them. Useful for funny pictures etc.
The photos save in a folder named "facebook" inside the DCIM folder, except in the gallery app the photos are in the camera shots album.
It's not a big deal, but I get pretty ocd about how things are organised in my phone, and pictures I take mixed with facebook photos is a big no no.
Is there a way to change this so that appears in it's own album?
If it helps, I installed the vanilla 4.2 gallery (with the photsphere capabilities) app and the pictures saved in facebook are in desperate albums from my photos, but I prefer to use the default app.
Thanks for any help

[Q] Panorama 360 photos not showing correctly in the Gallery after rename/copy/move

Hi,
I took some panorama 360 photos last week and they were showing fine in the Gallery (the panorama icon was showing) and I was able to explore them with the gyroscope. But after moving them to another folder with a file explorer they are not shown as panorama pictures anymore (the icon is not showing and they appear ugly). I tried moving them again to their original folder but it still does not work.
I did some research and took new pictures and discovered that even renaming them prevents them from showing correctly in the Gallery. The only operations allowed that don't "break" them in Gallery are the ones provided directly by the Gallery application (copy or move to another album), any other operation performed with an external file explorer app breaks the gallery compatibility with these files.
I have uploaded the pictures to Google+ and they are displayed correctly, so they are fine and there is no corruption, so it seems to be a problem with the Gallery application.
Do you know how to fix this problem? I would like to be able to see the again in the phone, the gyroscope exploration is amazing :good:
Thank you very much in advance.
Any ideas about it?
Thanks

Question multimedia scanning - hide photos - video from xiaomi gallery

HI, I just finished to configure my new Mi11 . Al goes well but I have a problem with the gallery. I transfert my Whatapp folder from my old phone with tons of video and photo. Now, as usual, I verify I create a new file ".nomedia" in all folders to hide the photos and videos from gallery. But my new MI 11 ..... he doesn't want to know ! After a couple of hours and more then 10 attemps, In gallery I still see the whatsapp folders under "Album". What can I do to hide it ?
In my old phones I delete the Gallary App data and cache to rescan the full phone folders and than it found the .nomedia files and hide the file from the galley. But here with MI 11 I can delete the data from the app gallery, only the cache. How to manually make a multimedia rescan ?
