Trouble changing clock style on "Always on" screen - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Anyone having an issue changing the clock style on the always on screen? Just picked up my Verizon Note 9 and I've gone in to Settings-Lock Screen-Clock Style. I've selected the new clock style I want, hit "Done", and the phone is consistently reverting back to the default clock. Anyone know the solution?
Thanks in advance.

You are changing the settings on the lock screen not the AoD. Go into the AoD settings and change the clock there. They are both different, if you change one the other won't change.

System UI Tuner on Note 5 (6.0.1)?

I tried the holding the gear for the settings but it never spins and I can't get this feature enabled. Am I missing something?

Did you enable it in developer options?
From what I have seen it is not available in all regions.
Touchwiz doesn't have SystemUI Tuner. The gear will not spin with the original SystemUI.apk and using Samsung Good Lock the gear will spin but It will not open anything since there's no code in Settings app.

It does make sense that it would not work on Samsung. Not sure what I was thinking.

True, but almost every feature from System UI Tuner is already available in Touchwiz:
Editable notification drawer toggles: Edit button in statusbar header.
Battery Percentage: Settings > Battery > Show Battery Percentage.
Dark UI theme: Well, you have hundreds of dark themes in Theme Store including Material Dark.
Only Demo Mode is absent.
Well I just need to make the notification bar nontransparent, I don't want to change anything else in the UI. I have a lock wallpaper that has a white area at the top which makes the notification icons basically invisible.

Sadly that's not something you can do with SysUI tuner either in Stock Android. You can edit the image to add a 48p height bar to cover the statusbar and set it as a new lockscreen wallpaper. Also, if you're rooted, use GravityBox or Perfect Statusbar. By the way by default in Marshmallow when you set a white wallpaper the statusbar icons turn to the opposite so you can see them. You may want to tune your image brightness with an Image editor in order to trigger the inverted statusbar.

Lock screen trouble after updating to B360

Before the update i used the 'Lightly OS' lock style from the Themes app and it was great. The clock on the lock screen was positioned perfectly. But after updating to B360 it looks like the only lock screens that will display notifications are Lightly OS and Magazine unlock. After the update the clock on Lightly OS has been pushed down and is sitting in the middle of the screen something i dont like at all. It just looks weird. On the preview of it in the Themes app it is displayed like it should look like.
Is this a known bug? You would think that notifications would show on all kind of lock screens? And is it possible to position the clock like it used to be?
Phone is not rooted.
go to themes, customise, screen lock style and choose the lock screen style you want

Thats what i do. But it seems like only the lock screens called Lightly OS and Magazine unlock will give notifications on the screen.
So, if i pick another lock screen, the clock fits perfectly on the screen - but notifications for snapchat, sms etc wont show on the lock screen. If i pick Lightly OS or Magazine unlock the clock looks weird, BUT i recieve notifications.
I want the clock to fit perfectly and recieve notifications

Has anyone noticed a lock screen / always on clock glitch?

I have noticed a few times that the always on display displays a different clock option once the screen has locked. The always on display displays the clock from the settings but once the lock screen kicks on it reverts back to the default clock style. I've attached two screenshots. Phone is up to date with updates etc.

It seems that the lock screen and AOD clocks are different. I don't think there's a way to match the styles. I've tried looking through the settings. The only option when it comes to lock screen clock is "Roaming clock" but it doesn't show a way to change the style. Which seems strange to me. That the AOD clock and the lock screen clock would be different.

I know but I think that is just strange, why wouldn't they match. The lock screen should just take on the AOD clock. I do not recall this happening on the note 7.

How to change the default clock style on lock screen?

Hi...Im having trouble finding a way to change the default clock style on the lock screen when I have applied a theme, the default is 2 digits on top of 2 digits and I hate it as it spoils the look of the themes.
You can change this in lock screen, clock styles, but this then takes away the themes clock and replaces it with the phone`s built in clock which looks crap and spoils the theme.
Is there a way just to change the clock style on the lock screen without removing the clock that is built into the theme???

Hm, i usually do a theme, but i usually pick a different clock anyway.. maybe after you pick your lockscreen clock, remove the homescreen clock and check in your widgets? Possible the theme clock is in there..

Font Color of Icons in EMUI

Hey guys,
I got myself a p30 pro and experience an odd issue.
Theme used is "dancing ribbon"
The fontcolor of the icons headers used to be dark.
However, then I switched the grid settings from 5x5 to 5x6. It rearranged the icons and now their fontcolor is white.
I tried
- changing back to 5x5 grid
- changing into another theme and back
- rebooting
Nothing seems to work. Since it is really hard to read icon names on light backgrounds do you have any suggestions? Am I missing some setting somewhere?
Best,
Emanuel
Hey guys,
no idea whatsoever?
thanks for any feedback
