Hi. I'm using redmi 4a with havoc os android 8.1. My phone has a weird bug. When i used official miui( no matter which version) the volte video call (integrated in native call ui) clarity is not good. Exposure is too low and the person on the other end cant see me properly. But when Im using a non treble custom rom such as havoc or crdroid the problem isn't there. So im sure its not a hardware problem. Now i want to know why only miui has the problem and how can i fix the bug in miui.

Hello..I'm using MIUI global beta ROM 7.5.11 and the one in the other side of the phone call has difficulty in hearing​ me property.. I had this issue since last two or three bata ROMs. It appears that the issue is more when I'm using 2g signal for the audio calls rather than with 3g. Does anyone have the same issue? Please help me fixing this.

I had a similar issue,but I am not sure was it because of 2g-3g difference or something else.People also complained they cannot hear me well during video calls (viber,whatsapp) over WiFi. Also, I had a problem hearing other people,depending on a ROM,and I changed a lot of them,a couple of MIUI's and almost every 7.1.2 that I could find here.One other bug that I have (had) is the bluetooth streaming which also varies from ROM to ROM.Yesterday I installed latest [ROM][OFFICIAL][OMS][7.1.2] Slim7 [WEEKLIES] (cancro),audio is great in both directions,bluetooth resolved after reboot.There are 2 SlimROMs I only tried this one.Hope this helps!

But could you pls advice how can I have "double tap to wake up screen (like other Rom - RR)".
And second, Music player is not working on my phone. It doesn't play any songs, just next next.. from start to end of playlist. Kindly tell me how to fix this bug.

Do you always have bad reception, or just in this rom?
First, set up the same apn you got in miui. Miui und lineage have different default apns, so it might not work out of the box.
If it is the same after that, let us know.
(ps have the same issue, but I always got horrible reception no matter if miui or los so it is hard for me to test)

only in this ROM, in MIUI no issue.
i found work around in my device, if you in network mode 4G (LTE) change it to 3G, then when normal change it back to 4G. you have to do this every time your device restart.

Hi as mentioned in the title I'm searching for a fully compatible Android Auto Rom.
So far I've been on miui 9 and the google pixel 2 rom.
While the Google Pixel 2 Rom works well it has a bug with bluetooth calling.
I haven't tried that many roms, caus I have little time and low flashing skills
Thats why I'm asking you guys for your input!

In latest Pixel3ROM fixed Bluetooth In-Call audio. Try it.
tested and confirmed, Android auto is working on my receiver. screen issues, black bars, touch issues are all resolved. I am running the latest MIUI 10 global 8.11.15 rom.

I have a note 5 n920T and the problem that I have is that most of the oreo or pie custom rom dont exist for this particular model. if a rom boots on it usually call audio is an issue. So, I want to modify existing kernel to work with n920T. I have been unable to find any guide related to "modify kernel for another variant of android device". Can anyone point me to any related guide or tutorial or video. I am a newbie to development and watched a few videos related to custom rom development but it doesn't help me as I want to modify kernel belonging to say n920C to work with n920T. I shall be grateful for your guidance. I have programming knowledge including c and c++
The big issue is with the speaker not working properly when ported to the T-Mobile variant. I believe it's a driver issue.
To be honest, none of the Oreo roms for our device are "good". They both are too unstable and have some major issues such as no/bad Camera (most apps will just crash), Bluetooth doesn't work, etc.
I've been using Oreo lately and just today alone I've had 10+ freezes/reboots. Unable to use bluetooth. Many apps using the camera just crash.
I think it's time to upgrade from our device as there's just no third party support anymore. The LG G7 seems to be the best value high-end phone on ebay, however there's not much support via XDA at this time.
I get some trouble with my 11 and android auto on uconnect 7 fca. The phone normally connects to to connect with aa, but after a phone calling, the audio (spotify ecc), start to hear from the phone speaker and not from the car speakers. Tried everything but no success.

Hm.. .9? I just got an update here of MIUI Global 12.5.7 and thought that was the latest. I still have the same problem though So annoying that I went back to an really old huawei phone instead.
Me too same issue, each time a firmware update comes I test it and I pray they fixed that annoying issue without any success. This issue is been since the day one I got the phone. This is sad since my old Oneplus 6 works just fine :/
The only way i find to resolve this problem was unlock bootloader and flash another rom, in my case One OS. :/

How is that rom otherwise compared to the Global rom?
I've spoke to some people of Xiaomi forums and the admin over there is claiming AA is broken not just on Xiaomi but also other phones and that is an Android 11 problem that was not resolved yet on Android open source project, not sure if that is true as I don't have another phone on Android 11 to test.
I've already opened a ticket with Xiaomi for that, several months ago. Still no updates on it. If someone has any other android 11 phone that is not xiaomi and could test to confirm it would be great!

As I understand there was an Android 11 problem that is solved. I have talked to people using andoid 11 on Oneplus devices that works fine they claim.
I have the problem only with Waze. After a phone call, Waze is hearing from the phone speaker. The rest of the apps working ok. It's a Skoda...
I had some problem also with Samsung Note 10 before and it was the same problem with Waze app but not on every phone call. Let's say 3 from 5.
