Hey everyone!! I'm here with a new app that solves an issue I'm sure that every one of you have had. AutoGPS rectifies having to turn GPS on and off whenever you use Maps or Navigation. You never have to worry about your GPS again, helping you save time and battery.
AutoGPS - Google Play Store
-----------------------------------------------------
Play Store Description:
AutoGPS manages the Location Settings of your device to switch to High Accuracy(GPS) whenever Google Maps needs it. Never be prompted again to change your Location Mode again. Never worry about wasting your battery to your GPS always being on, AutoGPS will take care of it for you.
☆Only works with Google Maps
☆Requires Secures Settings (Uses Root)
☆Requires Notification Listener
Secure Settings: http://goo.gl/NCoJJ
The System+ Module must be enabled for Secure Settings to work.
Notification Listener: http://goo.gl/ljTj2p
It must be turned on in the Security Settings of your device, under "Notification Access".
Important:
AutoGPS doesn't really ask for many permissions to manage the GPS for Maps.
Lock Screen Permissions:
Allows the device to know that you're not actually navigating anywhere and instead just have the screen off.
Retrieve Running Apps Permissions:
Allows the app to know when you're running Google Maps.
Run at Startup Permissions:
This allows the app to do its magic stuff without having to run it manually every time.
Prevent From Sleeping Permissions:
Keep Android running while Google Maps is active to manage GPS.

Notifications wake up the screen option missing

Hello;
Not only am I new to the Note 5, but Android too. I come from Windows Phone (a Lumia 1520).
I can't find the option to have notifications wake up my screen. Supposedly is under Settings -> Sounds and Notifications, but it is not showing for me. See the screencap.
I downloaded Glimpse Notifications, but I figured it should be a stock option? Also, is there a way to increase the timeout for the screen when Glimpse Notifications turns it on?
Oh, I followed dlthe de-bloat and de-touchwiz guide from the General subforum. Used the basic xml to disable packages. Don't know if that's related.
Thanks for any guidence!

Hi,
If you use these toggles a lot (which you should), a quick edit now will make your life easier.
Organize the quick settings
Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-toggles
1. Pull down the Quick Settings and tap EDIT in the top right corner
2. From here you can drag the toggles around as you like
3. There must be at least 5 toggles in the Quick Settings
TO remove unnecessarily apps
Let’s do it.
1.Open the app drawer to see all of your apps
2.Long-press on the app you’d like to remove
3.The app drawer will close and you’ll see an option for Disable or Uninstall
4.Drag the app to the trash can
If you would like to revive a disabled app you can go to Settings > Applications > Application manager. Swipe over to the Disabled tab and find the app.

How To Guide [App][Google Contacts] How to sync Google Contacts in MIUI 12 CN

Hi everybody, I will describe the process that worked on my Mi 11 Ultra with MIUI 12.5.4 (CN version) to enable Google Contacts Sync and I was able to sync my contacts from my Google account with my Mi 11 Ultra.
Download Google Contacts Sync and Google Account Manager (Stable versions)
Stop Quick apps Service Framework
Settings > Apps > Manage Apps >Search for "Quick apps" (The icon is a green block with a white bird inside) > STOP the app;
Install the apps of the step one
Go to Settings (scroll until the end)
Accounts & Sync
On Basic Google services > click on Google > Add your account (you can add more than one normally) > Back
In Google session click in "more" > Sync Now
Go to the Dialer > Contacts (on the top) > A line below choose the account you've added.
NOTE: I also used XiaomiADBFastbootTools to DISABLE Quick apps Service Framework. I dind't remove this app yet to avoid some issues, I'm new to this kind of tunes on MIUI. (If someone remove this app, please let us know).
