Magnetic Cable for Samsung Note 8[Exynos] - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

Hello!
I would like to ask, what are your best budget magnetic cables for Samsung Note 8 that supports fast charging?
I've come across this magnetic cable from AliExpress. I asked the seller if it supports fast charging for Note 8 and he says it does not, the cable only supports 2 amps.
Questions:
1. What is the best budget fast charging magnetic cable that you can recommend?
2. How many amps does Note 8 stock original cable can handle?
Thank you in advance!
Item from AliExpress (I can't post a link yet)

I have several magnetic cables, mostly because I want to prevent the port from wearing and debris , but all of them barely reach 1000 mAh, the original cable attains almost the 2000 mAh, btw, I never fast charge, to avoid batt degradation

I get all my cables from AliExpress. I only buy fast charging cables and this one works flawlessly:
WSKEN Lite 1 Magnetic USB Type C Cable
As for the stock cable, honestly, I've barely used it, since I find it really crappy compared to the ones I own and found on AliExpress. Here are some of my favorites should anyone be interested (non-magnetic though):
Rock
Baseus
uGreen

I use the Taslar Magnetic cable bought off Amazon. work well. its a braided cable, tangles less, hopefully frays less. a good buy so far. use it for 3 of my devices!

So I bought one of these with the $10 off coupon that was posted on Slikdeals, missed the one a few weeks earlier that was $20 off.
But either way I am happy. It is a big blocky device. Looks more like a USB HUB.
I tested all ports, but the best part is that it also has Qi wireless charging on top. I really like the fact that it has a rubber ring that grips what ever I put on it. Usually I find my Sony Xperia Z3 on the floor (glass on both sides..).

USB-c cable that fits with Official Adopted case.

I just bought a Anker USB-C to USB-A cable only to discover that it won't fit with my Nexus 5X when I have the phone in the Google adopted case.
Does anyone know of a USB-C to USB-A cable that has been verified to fit with the Google adopted case? I also have an aukey car charger that came with a cable that fits the phone with the case on but I want to leave that cable with the charger in the car.
I bought this pack of two one long one short and use it with adopted case without any problem so far.

[REVIEW] CHOETECH USB C To HDMI Cable & Wireless Charger

I got a chance to test out a few products from CHOETECH recently. I tested their wireless charger (with cooling fan) and also their USB C to HDMI cable
The CHOETECH wirless charger is (in my opinion) a bit on the small side when using it with a Note 8, although it does do its job! I was pleasantly surprised that there really isn't any noise from the cooling fan with this one. It actually does keep my phone cooler while charging compared to some off brand chargers!
The CHOETECH USB C to HDMI cable is probably my favorite accessory so far! I was using an Insignia (BEST BUY) USB c to HDMI cable, and although that did its job (kinda), the CHOETECH one definitely blew it away.. much better quality, and I never experience the cable disconnecting like I did with the Insignia brand.

I requested to test but only received a discount on the wireless charger...I am waiting for it to be delivered. I have used their products before and they are good...I wanted to try their charging hub...

Review: Choetech cables and charger

I did receive these items for review from Choetech. I would have posted a bit earlier but was dealing with Hurricane Irma cleanup and such.
I received a Fast Wireless charging Stand, Model T520, 3 usb cables and the USB C to HDMI adapter.
The charging stand works great. It's square as shown in another review I had the older Samsung fast charger and it's "round" and with some cases, my Note 8 never sat straight. Not an issue with the Choetech unit. It did work with the Samsung Rugged case but as folks know, that case is not certified to work with wireless charging.
The cables, they originally got the most use when my power went out. I plugged them into my battery packs and never lost power to my phone all through the hurricane. They are heavy duty braided cables. They look and feel like the Anker brand cables I usually use. Solid and fast charge capable.
The most interesting device I received was the USB C to HDMI adapter that's rated to 4k. I haven't had a chance to play with this yet. According to the information it is supposed to work fine with the Note 8...and many other devices with a usb C port.
If you're seeking affordable and tested cables and charging stand, add Choetech to your list of choices.
Not that it matters to some, but the Charging stand and cables were BLACK in color which matches my black note 8 and my general home office motif.

eBay & AliExpress charging cables

Hello guys,
I am wondering is there any harm in using non-original charging cables from China.... for example brand named ROCK...
I guess charger itself is more important than the cable.??
Thanks
I bought 3 cables at ebay, about a year and a half ago, and they work as the first day, but, they are of the magnetic connector type, they are useful for charging, not for data transfer
I am also sometimes using non-original cables from eBay... but I wonder if charging with them could hurt battery?
I think that the most important factor is the charger, the cable will transmit what the charger produces, the cable at most would diminish the electrical flux
avoid cheap brands.
the note 8 uses a type C connector, which is very specific in how it needs to be built.
unfortunately some companies care more about cheap parts than following standards, resulting in cables that can fry your charging port.
I suggest you take a look at Benson Leung's reviews.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/a...06-20&linkId=c6e15ee0d043426faa2aa32d72656baf
he regularly does in-depth tests and reviews on type C cables to see if they're safe, and many turn out to be bad.
Thank you
bought different cables in ebay for my note 8 and previous devices. just select the right brand. there are many cheap but branded cables out there. try to search for Choetech or Aukey. And make sure you selected the cable with 56k resistor as this is required for type c charging.
