Magisk - Magisk

Hi, i have Huawei y9 2018 oreo 8... i tried to flash xposed framework beta 3 sdk 26 but i got bootloop after restart... I tried to fix it with Uninstaller xposed but it doesn't work so i flashed the boot.img with the recovery and this worked ... But I lost the magisk... I try to flash it again with the recovery but every time I try it i get bootloop again and i flash the boot again to fix it... Guys can you help me to find the problem? I wanna flash magisk again without get bootloop.

Possibly could need to patch boot only and flash patched img with fastboot.
But I have return question for you
.I have not found link to TWRP for y9. Would you share link to recovery you are found to use.

Did the zip flashed successfully or it gave you a flashing error in TWRP. Remember, that in order for the zip to work, you must be on clean stock ROM which hasn't been attempted to root before.

Flash stock boot.img and then flash the zip. The boot image currently on your device is already patched hence you're facing this error.

Recovery Bootloop after Installing Magisk

Hi,
I'm using ASUS ZE551ML running latest Lineage OS 14.1 ROM.
The SU addon on the Lineage website doesn't seem to work anymore, so I switched to Magisk.
I tried installing Magisk v14 zip from TWRP, rebooted to system, and it booted back to TWRP.
It's been 2 days and I've done plenty of reading on this forum but haven't found any solutions yet.
Thanks.
Have you tried signing your boot image after flashing Magisk?

Thanks for the response.
I've visited your link and read it.
So I should flash the Verified Boot Signer after I flashed Magisk?
Edit : Flashing the Verified Boot Signer helps me get out of the loop and my phone is now rooted. Thank you very much.

Relock bootloader (with magisk) on the Oneplus 5?

Hello everyone, I've tried to search on the web about this issue since the OTA for Android O is finally out for the Oneplus 5 and couldn't get a satisfying solution. I rooted my OP5 a while ago with Magisk and now that this update is out and tried to install it, It just wouldn´t let me, searching I found that my locked swich to relock the bootloader was because I had to enable it on Magisk, so I opened magisk and couldn´t find that option, and now that I searched on how to enable the "Lock bootloader option" in the Magisk app and found nothing, I'm just out of ideas, so guys, could you help a (noob) brother out with this?
Ps.: If you could attach some screenshots about where to click or what to do, I'll apreciate it a lot (yeah, I'm that stupid when I freak out and don't find how to undo mi mess)
No... Do not lock your bootloader! Since you've been modifying your device that would potentially brick it.
What you're probably looking for is to restore your boot image. That's what Magisk modifies and is the reason why a normal OTA doesn't work. If you have TWRP installed, that would also be an issue.
The easiest way for you to update would be to download the full OTA zip, flash that in TWRP directly followed by the Magisk zip. That way you'll be nice and updated and still rooted.

Allright! I've downloaded the zip with the update, now: do I have to get the latest magisk zip, flash the update and then immediately flash the newest magisk zip?

Haven't tried it, but there is an option to remove Magisk through own Magisk. It should restore boot.img to stock. As I have said, haven't tested but should work.
Someone can confirm it?
I need some help. I am on the January update. Didnt get bootloop when I installed it after unrooting before they stopped the update. This time I tried unrooting but unfortunately OTA still fails. I tried the Magisk uninstall with automatic restoring the error still persist. I also tried manually installing the boot.img for 10.3 but i get stuck on the android logo with only fastboot access. Flashing the patched 10.3 boot image lets me boot again. Any ideas to try except restoring (and wipping ) ?

thanks i'm currently waiting for the bootloader unlock count down
can you give me some instructions to flash TWRP on the phone cause i'm kinda new to this stuff
Use latest magsik manger apk extract your boot.img from your stock firmware then patch boot.img using magsik manger then flash the patched boot.img and first of all unlock your bootloader I recommend you use mi unlock sent request for unlocking your bootloader
Unable to install official TWRP in Redmi 8, Miui 11.0.7. It installed. and then vanished when rebooted. and then boot looped. Had to flash original recovery and boot img to reboot.
Had made sure that I didn't boot to system after flashing TWRP. and boot to recovery instead. It flashed okay. Could use the root after installing Magisk. But on reboot, all was gone. Boot looped.
hi bro how did you unlock bootloader on redmi 8 its on 11.0.6.0
Hey people, I have the same problem installing TWRP. When I reboot after installing twrp.img, the recovery mode show me the recovery from the original ROM stock. I made this process hundred of times and gets the same result, original Redmi recovery erase TWRP recovery.
If someone know any solution I would really appreciate it.
