Today my mind got blow up while thinking it. As you know ASUS don't give clear Android to their devices but max pro m1, max plus etc. About Max Pro M1's, both devices have sd636 and 4/6gb ram option with Project Treble support. So can we install Max Pro M1 fw to Zenfone 5 to get a clear Android ui by ASUS? Maybe flashing through TWRP?

Haa... Redmi Note 3 pro is a new device and we dont have forum yet... May be later we can have...
This is kind of common in XDA like, All android one devices will have one section and Xperia play/pro used to share same section...
Just to differentiate, I have mentioned everything that I can, over the heading itself...

i think its not about le eco, its about snapdragon 652, i cant see any android development on any sd652 device :laugh:

mi max has two versions, 1. Snapdragon 652, 4GB Ram, 128 GB storage, and 2. Snapdragon 650, 3GB Ram, 32 GB storage...
the one we you see on xda is 650 version.

I know this is the OnePlus 3t forum.but I have a OnePlus 3t and have seen how great the dev support is so that's why I'm asking here. I also have a Zenfone 3 ultra. We received a bootloader unlock but have no TWRP for it so we can flash root . Is there any devs out in this group to help us out ?

Searching the whole Redmi 4x a.k.a Redmi 4(India) thread on XDA I came up to know that xiaomi has not released kernel sources yet. I was looking forward to buy this device but looking at the lazy response from manufacturer I doubt the development and getting it. Share your thoughts and suggestion down below. Should I get this device or get Lenovo zuk Z2 plus which is available around the same price ?
I'm waiting for a deal to get one for my mom. I'm happy so far with my Note 4X (SD 625) which I'm running with Resurrection Remix, so I think a slighty downsized and down-specced version would be great for her. If there is no custom firmware in the near future, she'll be fine. I wouldn't wanna miss LOS or RR on my phone, but MIUI isn't bad for lots of people.
There are already a few custom ROMs for RM4X like yurekaOS based on nougat 7.1.2 and as i read in forums it seems to be running ok for the most users.
Still i wouldn't expect too much in custom development. see RM3S for example. there are ROMs available but development goes slow
So if you are no friend of MIUI (and upcoming MIUI 9) and want lot of custom development then you might consider buying another phone.

any plans for CM 13.1 or Lineage equivalent for Redmi Note 4X Qualcomm not built on nougat?
Need Android 6 as 7+ doesn't allow for USB bus speed auto-negotiation, which is "kinda" big deal in my application.

I wanted to install the OxygenOS 11 GSI, but I just can't do it.
And even Evolution X (R) will do but the guide is a bit outdated
P.S - I followed both available guides extensively and individually.

BTW, just wanted to ask, If have flashed a custom rom and custom recovery (TWRP).
CAN I just go and factory wipe (the default wipe option in TWRP) and just flash another zip or a GSI .img??
