This looks faulty to me. Is there any moisture in the camera?

Have you looked in accessibility vision then see if colour lens is on?

Did you turn on a filter effect?

It's the flash. If you have any case on, remove it. Clean the camera lens/glass with a microfiber cloth (moist or with a lens cleaner). Try those pics again and post here. Hope this works.

mabe the case is too close to the lense/led and light is reflecting off the case and into the lense.
remove case and test again.

[Q] xperia z1 camera protector probleme

hi everyone
i have an xperia z1 ,but i discover that ( i think ) i have a typical plastic lens protector and it blur the camera the quality is not the same anymore .. help plz how can i remove it ? i looks like some water in it ( but its not )
The Z1 do not come with Camera lens protector, the lens are not covered if you not did that. The problem of the blurry pictures is well know due to the flash of the Z1.

Then the lens are defected and if you cannot take good pictures then you have go via warranty.

Has anyone else noticed a lens flare or glow while using flash on the rear camera?

I bought my note about a month ago, and within a few days noticed that there's always a glow, or a lens flare on the left side while taking shots in the dark with the flash on. I'm thinking that the glass samsung installed for the bevel is the culprit, but can't find anything online about others having the same issue.
Yes I get that as well not sure why.
None here at all with the flash on. Maybe it's the case you are using?

flash reflecting off your hand/fingers?
Yup. Just confirmed it on mine. I went into my pitch black closet and took a photo with the flash. There's an obvious flare from the lower left of the pic.
Disclaimer: I do have a Slickwraps matte skin over the rear camera glass. But I don't think it would interfere with the lens or flash.

Camera issues

Anyone experiencing the attached?
Everytime I take photo at night with the flash on...
That looks like light bleed do you have a case on your phone? If you do, try it without the case and see how you get on

No case. Do have a skin. I reached out to Samsung customer support and they gave me the cookie cutter response to wipe the cache a partition. Oddly enough this seems to have worked despite my idea that it was hardware related.

Nevermind I just took another photo and it's back. I guess I'll rip my skin off and see if that helps but the bleed matches the color of my phone so I feel like the skin isn't causing it. I'm guessing it's a hardware defect.
Yeah, sounds like it good luck

camera blurry after update to android 9

Hi, I just updated my note 9 to android 9 and my camera is not too good. Lights are very blurry. Does anyone else had the some problem? Have a look on annex, I attached some pictures
Have you tried cleaning the camera lens?
Yes, I have. I got that issue long time ago when I was on sunny holidays and tel was very hot. Next day all was good. Now phone is normal temp and this show up after update to android 9
You know, that really looks like a dirty/greasy or scratched-up lens to me. It's either that, or it could be moisture under the glass. Double-check with a magnifying glass if you need to.
Do also contact Samsung support about this. I'm sure they have some thoughts.

Definitely not normal. I agree it looks like a dirty or scratched up camera lens. Do you happen to have one of those tempered glass protectors on the lens?
You can always test it by downloading a third party camera app like GCam or Open Camera. If they produce blurry pics, then you have some sort of hardware issue.

General Pixel 7/7 pro camera Anti-reflection coating

Hi, since the pixels suffer from lens flare, have you ever tried to put an anti-reflection glass on the cams? Could it work? I just don't know where to buy this type of glass
It isn't the best idea, since the "glass" that really matters is on the top of the sensor's surface, not the external glass we could touch.
sorry, I thought it was really what could be changed ... ok I tried ... thanks for the information

Lens flare is supposed be a problem with the misalignment of the layer between the sensor.
Nothing we could fix much..
that is, is it a construction problem between the sensor and the lenses?
However, I did a search and there are "homemade" methods, which explain how to make an anti-reflection coating. Maybe if it can work, I'll test it on my Xiaomi mi9t and publish the results
