Is P20 Pro the better device of huawei? - Huawei P20 Pro Questions & Answers

I mean, today i saw an article talking about the new Mate 20 Pro and i want to know about that... "Mate" is the budget version of the huawei's devices? Knowing that Mate 20 Pro is the new device, i know that it can be better, but, if one day they release another P30 Pro, maybe, it will be better since mate is a budget version?
The real question is... What is the "rank"? Honor > Mate > P20 Pro?

see this article - https://pandaily.com/huawei-explains-the-difference-between-the-p-and-mate-series/

They have both become Huawei premium models, being released with a gap of about 6 months. The new Mate model will be better than P20 and the bext P phone will most likely have some features not found in the Mate 20....

The Mi 8 is superior to the Honor 10 in every single way
If this is not a joke, than Mi8
Having p9 right now, after switching from mi4 I would say Huawei software support is pretty sucks. I would pick mi8 imo
I've had the Honor 10 directly after release for one week.
The display is just bad, the fingerprint scanner is laggy, the selfie cam is too shiny and had bad contrasts, some apps are only Snapdragon optimized so they are laggier then on my Snapdragon 820 based ZUK Z2 Pro.
After one week i've send it back to amazon and now i'm waiting for the Explorer Edition.
Have Honor 8 now. Think I may grab one of these as my next phone.
I have Huawei p20 pro, but using mi 8 for daily basis, its better than p20 pro in everything except the camera.
In my opinion Honor 10 has way more better Camera application. Switching camera modes in MIUI is very slow - have to swipe by one item.
And Honor 10 is smaller and that's a pro for me.
But globally Mi8 is a rocket and I'm happy with that phone.

Is it worth the upgrade from a mate 10 (non pro)?

Has anyone here upgraded to the p20 pro from a mate 10?
Is the camera really that significantly better?
Would you recommend it?
Unfortunately there is no way for me to try a store demo unit where I'm located. It's all Samsung/Apple here
I would wait for Mate 20... Newer hardware like CPU, etc if your set on Huawei.
Otherwise the Pixel 3 would be a good choice.

Mi 9 or P30 [non-Pro]

Hi all, I can take the P30 [non-Pro] for the same price as Mi 9, and I am not sure which one to take. If you were me, which one would you take and why? I would love to hear you opinions.
Mi 9 > P30
P30 Pro > Mi 9
But price tag is huge mark there, I would go for Mi 9. It'll definitely have better Custom ROM support too
yhh Mi9 considering it will have more ROM support and its better than the non-pro P30
I know benchmarks aren't everything, but the MI9 beats all Huawei phones including the P30 Pro.
Secondly, Huawei no longer offer a bootloader unlocking service whereas Xiaomi release the full source code for their ROM on day 1. This is evidenced in the amount of activity on XDA for the Huawei, which is very little.
If you take a look at the Huawei forum, you'll see that they say nice things about issues, but nothing ever happens. I waited 4 months and gave up. Now my P20 Pro is on eBay.
And lastly, on the funny side, here's a video on Huawei support

Would you buy a Mate RS porsche design 512gb version in pristine condition for $500?

Hi guys,
I used to own a Mate 20 Pro and really miss it, so I'm going back to Huawei, but cannot decide between Mate RS PD and Mate 20 Pro. The reasons I'm having difficulty choosing are because the Mate 20 Pro has the latest 7nm chipset (which should result in better battery life and performance) and upgraded camera, while the Mate RS porsche design has a much higher storage space and ever so slightly better looks. FYI, I really don't mind the notch on the M20pro.
Phone specs:
Mate RS porsche design - P20 specs with 512gb storage space (black color) - around $500
Mate 20 Pro - 128gb global rom (black) - around $550
Also, does anyone know if the Mate RS / P20 Pro battery life is on par with Mate 20 Pro? What about night time photography?
Mate 20 pro.

Now? No I would not.
OnePlus 7 pro or wait for the pixel 4
Mate 20 Pro. Kirin 970 is much outdated today. The only risk is glue gate.
Personally I would wait for mate 30 pro and oneplus 7T pro and then decide. But i understand time and money are key factors here.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro: no Europe, only available in China

Sad news guys, FoneTech is thrustworthy source https://bit.ly/2k7jNBE
China first like always
Sounds unlikely. Why would they launch it in Munich if it isn't released in Europe?
Doubt it. As someone else here said, why release a China-only phone in Germany?
New Zealand also has mate 30 pro
Sent from my AL10
Lets see in 6 months after the release...if things have not evolved I may look into another brand. Untill then I keep reading and following the Google/Huawei/Trumph story on the 30Pro.
My opinion, this time round, Mate 30 Pro will depend on the camera quality badly, if the camera and video recording on the Mate 30 Pro is equal or outstanding than iPhone 11, Huawei stand a chance to survive with AOSP.
