Bezel-less Honor Magic 2 teased as Honor Play launches in Europe - Honor Magic 2 Guides, News, & Discussion

Honor Magic 2 Teased
While mostly everything about this phone was kept a secret, we did get a look at the “Magic Fullview Display,” which features an edge-to-edge screen and no notch.

While the design appears to have left no room for the camera, a physical demonstration shows off the “Magic Slide.” The camera is revealed as the top of the phone is slid up, exposing the sensor. This looks similar to what we saw on the Oppo Find X, although the Honor Magic 2 has a manually-retractable camera, unlike the Find X’s motorized version. Some of the other specifications we know include the HiSilicon Kirin 980 system-on-chip and 40W Super Fast Charge. We’ll learn more about the Kirin 980 at Huawei’s press event tomorrow.
Lastly, there was a brief moment during the teaser video that seemed to hint at a new AI Assistant named “Yoyo.” At the end of the video, you hear a voice say “Hello Yoyo,” which triggers a response from a female voice that appears to be Honor’s own digital assistant.
“Hello Yoyo”
“I’m here, what’s up?”
There is no information on any of the other features that you might expect in the Honor Magic 2. We’ll let you know if we learn more about this device.

Would like to know is there any custom Roms for this tablet? It's running Android 2.2, though it would be interesting to try other roms.
Bought from Dinodirect. It's even possible to get a discount there, so for $200 it's a very nice tablet, IMO. Sharp screen 1024px resoliution, very good capacitive touch, no difference compared to my HTC desire or Samsung Tab 10. Even camera and voice, video chat works.

It appears that Micromax is working on a new Android device that seems to resemble the HTC One X in construction, its evident inspecting the design renders we got our hands on. The above image is of Micromax’s next supposed flagship device the Superfone A100.
A close inspection of the design shows a slightly larger size and a centrally placed large camera lens (could this be the first 8 mp camera phone from Micromax?). The phone also appears to have dual sim slots and a micro SD card slot. Initial impressions put the phone as a slim power phone, but we really can’t judge based on factory drawings.
Hopefully the product comes out soon, touting a 5 inch screen, a large camera,a big battery and Jelly Bean for a low price say 14k-ish ( Hey one can hope right!). In reality, no real information for the phone is available

[Q] What do you do with your Google glasses?

I need some ideas.
Still figuring that out as i go..
At the moment, I mainly use my Google Glass to record stories from my older relatives and do in car video recording (had a gopro previously), like the notifications via IFTTT about when it is snowing or raining. Also get my google now alerts, email, txts, phone call alerts on it too. Also have been listening to my google music with it too while walking about and of course the navigation features are cool too.
I like not having to pull out phone; even though sometimes it's easier. Voice control is a bit weird to get used to initially but is pretty decent. My biggest geek use of it though is controlling my Philips Hue bulbs by voice with it. Some sample pics (vignettes = overlays of photo and glass display, very fun!).
Still a lot to be improved but now that more and more people have it; we are seeing new apps each week.

Mate 20 Smart Vision Shopping Assist Black Five

Hi guys,
Black Five is coming, I want to share with you a fun mate20 shopping function, that is smart visual shopping. If you see the items you like but don't know the brand and price, just open the mate 20 smart vision and scan the items, you will get the purchase recommendation of similar items.
For example, I saw a cute duckling doll and wanted to buy the same one. Just take out the Mate 20 series mobile phone, turn on the smart vision function, and scan the duckling with your mobile phone.
1. Swipe the home screen from the middle of the screen to open the smart search. Click the icon in the upper right corner to open the smart vision.

}
2. click on the shopping, use the phone camera to point to the duck, the system will automatically complete the scan and recommend the purchase link, very convenient.
I really like this feature. Wish you all a pleasant shopping.
I like this, thank you!
:good:, i seems amazing.

Question OnePlus 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Camera Test!

Found this video and it is very interesting. S21 Ultra is losing almost in every situation. Damn…
The night time video is sad for the S212 Ultra next to the 1+9 Pro
Yet here is some showing the opposite.
Essentially these 'reviewers' have no idea what they are doing - These two 'reviewers' I would say have just about zero idea what they are on about interms of photography at the best to times but people follow their 'advice' anyways. Pretty much ANY flagship phone is delivering amazing results these days, you don't need YouTube reviewers to confirm that.
I took this just on the S21 U whilst playing with my daughter. We are going to draw some background for the ATAT later on card and have a go at doing some scenes.
Personally I would say there is little point wasting time with YouTube camera 'reviews' these days, just get the phone/camera you want and start taking photos and been creative.

The S21 Ultra quite clearly has superior camera hardware, as expected given the price difference, and as shown by most of the comparison videos out there. The odd review saying different is expected, not everyone agrees with what constitutes a better photo.
