Stock camera feature - Xiaomi Mi 8 SE Questions & Answers

Hey guys. Do you have the slow motion slider appearing after you record a video with 120 or 240fps?
When i had the chinese rom i had this feature and could easily tweak the video when to start playing in normal speed and when in slow motion. It was like mini video editor.
Now when I flashed Eu miui rom i lost that feature.

Nobody guys? Realy?

[Q] Changing Default Camera Zooom Level for video

Hi,
I've been using Asylum Omni Rom 4.4.2 for a while and I haveve a problem with the camera on video recording. When taking photos, everything is fine with the resolution and aspect ratio. But when I switch to video mode, the view is like its zoomed in 2x or more. It feels like the default zoom level is 2x for this rom. I tried some different camera apps like, Google Camera, Camera Zoom FX and Snap HDR Camera, all was the same with video recording. Google Camera didn't even record and crashed when I started recording immidiately and needed to reboot the device to make it work again. Camera Zoom FX, didn't have a video recording mode anyways, and Snap HDR is the save with zoomed levels. I checked on Instagram video option and it was good with the zoom level and everything was fine.
Stock camera app for JB on n7000 var really good with videos. But all I want to know is is there a way to change the default zoom level for an app, or camera. I even tried the Service Mode to look for it but couldn't find anyrthing related to camera or such.

Is HDR10+ working for you?

Hello everyone,
I am in Xiaomi.eu and when I try to play an HDR10 video in youtube the screen blacks out and only sound plays. The touch screen is responsive so if you know the taps you can close the video and the screen will work again but I really want to see the difference in HDR content. Is it a Xiaomi.eu problem, or a general bug? Thank you in advance.
SOLVED: I do not know if this is a problem with the original MIUI but if the Contrast & Colors is set to Automatic contrast HDR works. I used standard contrast and that was the source of the problem .
When looking at a video on Youtube, HDR "visibly kicks in" (screen changes color temperature) and is visible in Youtube Quality settings.
The problem might come from the Xiaomi.eu rom or a setting.
BTW, you should assume, when using a custom rom, that it's always the origin of the problem, and ask your question in another way, like "Anyone on custom rom has hdr working" instead of thinking that it must be a Youtube bug lol

Question 4k 120fps slow motion broken

This mode a year ago used to record and payback at normal speed to the left and the right of the sliders then you adjust the sliders to change the slow motion section in the middle. Now when I use this mode, the sliders adjust the section where it plays normal in the middle and the sections to the left and right of the sliders plays at a super fast speed. How can I get it back to the regular slow motion like before? I cannot find anything about this problem anywhere searching the Internet.
I can't see that option on my device?
Seems that there is some info on the internet but it refers to a OnePlus 9 not the 10, they reference changing the speed using software after you've recorded it.

I see what you mean now, so yes you do have 4K 120fps but it's not standard slow motion.. it's just normal video at a higher FPS rate so it's smoother.
You could adjust the playback speed and watch it in slow motion so 30fps and it'll appear slower but not sure what options you'd have in that case.
