Unlock the bootloader on the Zenfone Live (ZB501KL) - Asus Zenfone Go Questions & Answers

Basically the title says all, I have been looking through all the internet and I have not found a way to unlock the bootloader in this phone. I have already tried the Official Unlock App but when I activate it it says that it "Failed to Activate Bootloader" and before that it says something about a PIN but it allows me to continue. So could someone help me?

Network is locked

Hi,
I was use a sim-unlocker from cnomex and change the sim in my phone.
I get the message
"network is locked, Please input unlock code"
Any advice ?
Phone is locked...
If you're getting this message, it means your phone is still network locked (SIM lock), so your unlocking software either hasn't worked, or it's the wrong software for your device.
Check out the 'ROM Development' section, or the Diamond Wiki. I would give you a direct link, but I can't remember exactly where I saw the thread

Well, the Bootloader unlock thread says:
"If the simlock certificate specified is SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, or anything other than NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, jump to step 3." - which means you have to skip step 2c
From step 3 onwards you need to READ the instructions carefully as at step 5 you have to, for example, skip step 5a
It's not exactly easy to perform, but I think the instructions are rather clear if you read what's written there and assemble intel to be able to make your way through the course of steps.
If you fail to follow instructions and chose the wrong path for your particular phone it's likely that it won't work or that you end up with severe problems.

Did you turn on USB debugging? More importantly, did you turn off your antivirus?

[Q] Problem !!! - HTCdev Unlock Failed

I tried five times HTCdev unlock solution (also trough the Desire_C_All-In-One_Kit_v2.0 - obviously not Kit developer fault) and I stucked on "Network Locked" (so, neither to enter in OS to set adb for other unlock options).
Any IDEA what to do now (pls. don't spam paid unlocked solutions).

The methods you've followed are not to network unlock your phone, they have been to unlock your bootloader which is different..
If you look around there are potential unlocks for our network service provider, you just have to look around, and find them mate.

Bootloader error, Remote:Command not allowed!

Sorry for disturbing. Solved.
Hi everyone,
I am very very trying to unlock the bootloader to flash TWRP but it says remote:Command not allowed.
Why can it be? I have bootlader code also.
Thanks.
I think this has to do with the setting 'enable OEM unlock' in developer settings..... if that is off, it won't let you proceed. Switch it to on and try.... It worked for me although I gave up in the end with the whole process as I nearly bricked the phone. The instructions for unlocking the bootloader, rooting and debranding are really not easy to understand for the basic knowledge person!
If you have previously activated finger print or other types of lock, the unlock step won't work, you will need to factory reset the phone and unlock when the phone is "fresh"

How to unlock bootloader G928A on 7.0

I've looked at every guide I can find but nothing works when trying to flash TWRP. It always fails because I'm guessing the bootloader is still locked. I clicked the "OEM Unlock" button in dev settings but ODIN only ever tells me that the secure check failed when trying to flash it. Can anyone help out? Thanks.
You have to get the unlock codes from AT&T. There is a form for that.
