Sometime I also faced it. Once I turn on speaker and then again mic, it works....

thank you for your answer. My redmi Note reboot automatically after flashing miui 6.
well, how can I flash this chainfire update? From updater app or xiaomi recovery? I haven't other recovery after update.
(I'm noob for xiaomi phones, with S3 was easyer!!!)

STEPS FOR FLASHING:

1) Put the phone in EDL mode
2) Unpack the ROM
3) Open QFIL
4) Return to the ROM folder and extract from "securebootfiles.zip" all the folders (but not "about.html" and "contents.xml") on the Maincode folder.
5) Connect the phone
6) Select the port
7) Go on Tools-->QCN Backup Restore, and take an bakcup of your imei (push backup QCN and save it where you want)
8) Select "Flat Build"
9) Select programmer path "prog_emmc_firehose_8976_ddr.mbn"
10) load XML "rawprogram_upgrade.xml"
11) select "patch0.xml"
12) Push "DOWNLOAD" and wait.

Hi everyone, I just get a Xiaomi Redmi 9 (lancelot, that is what I think) with MUIU 12 and now I have to wait 7 days to unlock the bootloader. It is a GREAT phone.
Now I have some questions:
Is there a TWRP recovery for MIUI 12? Where I can get it? Does it work well?.
I read about a vendor 12, "OSS system". What are these terms?.
Can I install GSI? Is easy to install?.
Any tips? Any good advice? Any telegram for this phone? dm me.

Also make sure your phone is Redmi 9 Lancelot because that recovery is for that.

Unfortunately i have flashed rui 2.0 recovery and my recovery isn't booting. If i try to go to recovery it land me on the lockscreen page
