I have just got the Xperia z1 after having a iPhone 5. All my music is organised through itunes as i have apple tv as well. I was wondering if someone can tell me if their is a desktop program that will sync my music and music videos to my phone. I have tried double twist which is excellent but for some reason where i have a folder that is songs and music videos mixed it doesnt sync the music videos, is their a program that will sync the both in one folder.

Might want to look at Sony's PC Companion software! It seems to have stuff to transfer and sync music across different platforms!
I am not able to see all pictures, videos in gallery. only camera folder is showing.
And in music, no media files are detecting even they are placed in phone memory.
Please help me............

Yesterday I tried the Background Video Recorder 2 app (ex Secret Video Recorder 2 but Google removed it from the store, they are same) which resulted in a huuuugeee frustration. My phone is Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. I stored the videos on an external SD. When I got home to copy videos to my PC I saw that the app saved videos as date-clock.mp4.renamed so they are not video files. I removed the ".renamed" part and over the 50 videos only 2 of them worked (sort of- too much buggy) and the other files cannot be opened by any player (for example, Gom Player showed "Find Codec" error screen).
Can I fix those videos?

Upgraded to the S10 and as I have my own music collection, opposed to using Spotify etc. I have various file extensions to play. With the new phone I wanted to give Samsung Music a try as i liked the look of it and because it should be able to play most, if not all audio files. Unfortunately Samsung Music won't play some of my .m4a files.
I checked if the files are protected in Windows Explorer - Details and they don't.
If it matters I have the files stored on an SD card in /mu/..
I've tried Foobar2000 which is the player I used on the old phone and it plays the files with no problems.
Solved: Found out it only supports .m4a files with AAC and not ALAC.
Sorry this won't help you but ive noticed the samsung player has been stripped of all it's features
