fonts successfully changed. - Sony Xperia XZ2 Themes, Apps, and Mods

I successfully changed the fonts on my rooted H8216.
Download a flashable pack from thread in Android/Themes.
Extract them and copy all the fonts to...
/system/fonts and /system_root/system/fonts
Reboot and it should be done.
!!!REMEMBER TO BACKUP FIRST!!!

thanks for sharing!

Directory doesn't matter because both are the same bro

Unfortunately need root
The bad thing is still the same old font style, no more New Android font " Google Product Sans " or at least " supporting font style " like others!

does fonts on ifont work?

I don't know, I haven't tried.

[Q]How to change fonts?

I have searched and posted on the thread where I found fonts, but no reply. So unfortunately I have to start a new thread for this.
I have found jellybean fonts on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1611545. So plz tell how to use them. And also can I use them in any rom. And plz if someone reply to this, reply in some DETAIL.
No one can help
You can actually rename the font (in ttf format) into the system font's name (in /system/fonts) and replace it with the right permissions...or replace the font files (rename it first of course) in a working cwm font zip with yours and flash it (safer and better method)...
Fonts
You can install it as a normal app and choose as default rom via Settings>Display>Font
you can use search to look for fonts

so the thread link which i have given, i can download jb fonts and rename it and replace in the rom right. can it be done with any .ttf font file. But one confusion , my present have 13 font files but jb fonts file have only 12 so can i replace 12 and delete the rest.
Just replace the ones that can be replaced...leave the one that has no replacement there......this can be done with any ttf file...

[Q] How to manually change the fonts in Zeus6.4

I see a list of fonts ready to be changed in my Zeus 6.4 Rom:
-DroidSans
-Jungle Gotica
-Amor
-Juguetón
-MyHeart
-Bailarina
-Pantalla
but when I look on the /system/fonts all I found was:
-Clockopia.ttf
-DroidSans-Bold.ttf
-DroidSans.ttf
-DroidSansArabic.ttf
-DroidSansFallback.ttf
-DroidSansHebrew.ttf
-DroidSansHindi.ttf
-DroidSansMono.ttf
-DroidSansThai.ttf
-DroidSerif-Bold.ttf
-DroidSerif-BoldItalic.ttf
-DroidSerif-Italic.ttf
-DroidSerif-Regular.ttf
none of the list of the cathalog except for DroidSans
and I wanted to install new fonts (Roboto) :
-Roboto-Regular.ttf
-Roboto-BigClock.ttf
-Roboto-Bold.ttf
-Roboto-BoldItalic.ttf
-Roboto-Italic.ttf
so I copied them to /System/fonts
set the proper permissions for using them (rw-r-r)
but nothing works, how to do that??? how is the behavior of the fonts in Android Gingerbread???
thanks for the support

Maybe download some app on GooglePlay.

Downloaded fonts do not apply!

Hello
My S5830 is on stock rom 2.3.5. I wanted to change my system font. From "Font style" I downloaded an Arabic font pack. Now I have many fonts to set as system fonts.
But when I set any of them and reboot the system, no font change happen and system font is still the default font.
What is the solution? Why does not any change happen?
Is your device rooted? If not, then you'd need to do so in order to change system fonts. Kindly specify which app you are using to change the font.

Hi,
if you rooted the SGA, backup the content of /system/fonts folder;
then substitute (use ghost commander) the original fonts with the content of Arabic font pack you downloaded and set the appropriate permission;
the reboot the phone and enjoy

first I flashed my font file that I have attached on the post.
Then I flashed your lockscreen file.
It didnt work.
can you try flashing my font file and experience the problem yourself.
You can always flash the stoick font to revert.
I placed my font in your zip after changing their original name to the one in your zip.
sorry man..

I don't know what am I doing wrong, but I have copied some custom TTF fonts to the directory described (/monofonts/ttf ), and I have selected Samsung Sans as the default font, made the backup but I get stuck at the step of installing the TTF font. How do I do that? If i click on the ttf font nothing happens, and I assumed it would appear listed after copying to the monofonts/ttf directory, but no, it's not listed there. Pls help!
