[TWRP] Meizu Pro 7 Series (p25 and x30) - Meizu Pro 7 Guides, News, & Discussion

HEY GUYS,
AFTER A LOT OF SEARCHING OVER VARIOUS FORUMS, FINALLY I FOUND A DEVELOPED TWRP RECOVERY FOR BOTH MEIZU PRO 7S P25 AND MEIZU PRO 7 PLUS X3O VARIANT.
RIGHT NOW WE CAN INSTALL THE CUSTOM RECOVERY ON PRO 7 (P25) VARIANT ONLY. BECAUSE RECENTLY WE FOUND THE GUIDE TO UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER.
BUT FOR NOW THERE IS NO VERIFIED METHOD TO INSTALL THIS RECOVERIES ON PRO 7 (X30) BECAUSE OF THE LOCKED BOOTLOADER.
STILL I AM SHARING THE LINKS , BECAUSE SOMEONE MAY FIND A WAY TO INSTALL IT SUCCESSFULLY.
HERE ARE THE LINKS:-

Do you have a web source to check their progress?

They are devs and geeks over 4pda, you can see their progress over meizu 16th forums.

Oh, I get it, I'm watching just Meizu Pro 7 forum on 4pda.
It's interesting that someone put a screenshot with working supersu on this device on 4pda forum for this phone. There are no other details provided but maybe the guy will unveil them soon It would be nice if it's working on Global variant.

We tried it, i have a friend from the contributer of that post, well the thing is it really works. You can install super su on flyme 7.0.0.0G. There will be procedure posted soon, but the problem is that if you want to install supersu on latest global stable ie 7.1.0.0 then you cant because the basic need is stock root. And in latest stable you cant root so simply now, for it you have to register over official site. Well that's too lengthy.

Nice
Do you know if this supersu could work on Flyme 6.1.3.2G? For me, battery usage is better in this old ROM than in latest 7.x.

Yes. It works on Flyme 6 flawlessly. The flashfire apk also support Flyme 6, so with super su you can use flashfire to flash latest chinese flyme stable into your device. That means you can install A firmware on Global variant.
If you want guide right now then search meizu m6 4pda forum or else wait for few days we will post guide soon.

i have unlocked my pro7s P25 bootloader and tested twrp for it.
run ok. but cant mount anything

Can you share your guide to unlock bootloader for this device, also share your install log for the recovery so we can work on mount partition bugs. In order to fully test and develop a working TWRP we need more devices to install , therefore requesting you to share your guide to unlock bootloader for pro7 p25 variant. Thanks.!!!

Can TWRP be installed on any Mi5 with any ROM?

Im on ROM Global Beta 6.11.10, so can I installed the TWRP 3.0.2.1 on it with no problems?
official TWRP - where to - web site
always go with the latest realease
(if not stated otherwise by author/maintainer) and use the one made for your phone (if available).
Remember the rules of the miui (and of the fora): read&patience ... then try or test ... and sometimes go back
So for the official TWRP you can go visit their website and have a look there (otherwise roam this forum -and other ones- for valid alternate versions).
Go to the source: the TWRP website > choose your device
and also read the info (important!) > here the FAQ page

If your BootLoader is unlocked, it should be possible.
But unlocking BL needs MIUI China Developer or the MIUI Global Developer.
And i think you don't have one of those if i read it correct.

But it seems easy unlock the bootloader, I know that the request will not be answered immediatly, but it Will be the time to the developers make a stable version ofi the CM 14.1. I only fear to try to install the TWRP and Brick the device, so my question is that if any Mi5 with the unlocked bootloader can haver the TWRP flashed without risks

In fact, yes.
But no one can give you a garantee that it will work.
But there are lots of people now with TWRP on Mi5 (including me) and no problems, if you follow the instructions closely.
But you will need MIUI Chinese Developer version OR MIUI Global Developer version.
And you need first the BL unlocked.
You can after that also first install CM13, which is pretty stable, and later switch to CM14.1 when it is stable.
Sorry to ask, but by Global developer version you mean the Beta version? Im on ROM MIUI 8 6.11.10 Global Beta.. so its fine to flash the TWRP?..One more thing, here on XDA I saw on the GUIDE that te more updated version was TWRP 3.0.2.0, but to Mi5 currently is the 3.0.2.3 correct? And the only way to update the TWRP is to flash it again?

You need the developer versions to activate the Root option, then you can go on with TWRP installation.
MIUI versions:
http://en.miui.com/a-232.html
MIUI Download versions:
http://en.miui.com/download-299.html
Just follow these steps for TWRP installation:

I had indeed Global beta pre-installed on my phone. And after a little explore i found out that is the same rom as Global dev. So yes, i did unlock my Mi 5 with Global beta and then flashed twrp and CM 13.
At least i understand that it is the same from MIUI forum.
And anyway it worked.

How I feel about CM 13? Great rom. Everything worked fine and smoother than MIUI in my opinion. Now I've moved to CM 14.1 and there are few little bugs but overall i recommend also that as daily rom.

Question Clear eu.rom installation and root method?

Everyone here seems excited so there's alot of different information floating around. Anyone who owns the china mi 11 ultra please give description on how you successfully installed eu rom. I see there's a twrp listed on the eu site, is there currently a proper root method?

Hello everybody! My Meizu M5 (M611H) makes me desperate.

Hello everybody.
I like doing small repairs in electronics. In the past I have reflasced in some wifi routers and installed LineageOS in an old Sansung Grand Prime SM-G531F.
Instead I have not been able to unlock the bootloader of my Meizu M5 (M611H) for months. There are many self-styled guides but in the end they give generic indications for the majority of android systems. For example, I do not need external applications to root because it is provided by Meizu itself through the login on the Flame OS site, and the other thing is that Meizu M611H in the developer options does not have the "Unlock OEM" option. do it via fastboot commands. I'm really desperate ...
Hi, you can flash this twrp recovery with mediatek flash tool.
you not have to unlock bootloader.

This device has lineage 14.1, which was created by the Russians, but there are many problems, such as the sound doesn't seem to work !
Only official firmware can be used !

Can I use mediatek flash tool with any Flyme Firmware installed on the M5?
In the past I always reinstalled the first Flyme 5.2.10.3G version
while trying to install twrp.
I currently use the version 7.8.8.31 beta which I found on page Flyme 7 Experience Beta for M5 & M5s.
If I can't install a custom rom, how can I take advantage of the trwp? In addition to doing the root and being able to make a full backup of the rom image?
Thanks Iamverycute!

It's really a bad idea :
- A lot of Official Xiaomi Mi 11 tester have encounter EDL mode / Full Brick by flashing OTA ROM
- Actual TWRP is NOT compatible with A12... (and it's the only way you can flash your link because we don't have the fastboot version)
So before share this, try yourself but you are warned... be careful !

Oh yes! I can confirm this very much. I got into EDL and couldn't solve it myself. Finally I paid telegram guy to unbrick/reflash and solve it. So I would NOT recommend anyone (who is not super expert in to flashing a/b partition and all) to try it using recovery-twrp flash.

Not if you have a full brick (Black screen). Only if you are on EDL mode.
So you can really Brick your device, it can be expensive to just install a MIUI A12 with lags & many bugs.
I advise all to wait on A11 for the moment.

Has anyone installed Redmi 9 Lancelot Official Lineage OS rom on redmi 9 lava

right now i have redmi 9 lava (3/32) and seeing the new redmi 9 lancelot official rom i wonder if it will work on my phone without problems. Has anyone tried it?
I have the 4Gb RAM version and LOS 20 works fine although its using up to 2.8Gb RAM. Personally I wouldn't run Android 13 aka LOS 20 on a 3Gb RAM phone. I actually wish I got the 6Gb RAM version.

I currently have the pixel experience rom installed and it definitely runs much better than stock. You didn't encounter any problem with the installation, did you? Also if you have any problem I would like to hear it. Thank you very much my friend for the reply!
In addition, updates are done normally?
Yes there is weekly OTA updates. Also yes LOS 20 runs much better than stock, faster and uses less ram, on stock miui 13 Android 12 I couldn't even run two apps at the same time such as Outlook and Chrome. As for installation you need MIUI 13 Android 12, the latest stock rom, otherwise LOS 20 won't work, I believe it will bootloop. I just followed the instructions on LOS website, didn't have any problem.
Also I used the default LOS recovery instead of TWRP as TWRP isn't updated anymore and I wasn't sure if it will work. You need to unlock bootloader using Xiaomi app or a script from here Xda if you don't want to wait several days for the Xiaomi app unlock as there is a waiting timer, idk why Xiaomi did this.
you have me completely covered. I have done this process many times and know what to do, thanks for the advice anyway. You sure have the "lava" version right? Because you mentioned above that you wanted to buy the version with the 6gb ram which is only available in the Lancelot version and I would like to be sure
