Hey I really want to get the Galaxy S II but it's not in my poor student budget. So I was thinking about selling my Galaxy S i9000 on Ebay. Do you guys have any tips for me? I have quite a lot of paid apps and the condition is very good. So what could I expect?
Or should I wait buying the Galaxy S II ?

I don't have tips, but if you bought all these through the market they are tied to your gmail account when you goto the new phone, so, the person buying the phone wouldn't have them
Unless of course you are selling your gmail account too ^^ As far as price, in Canada, people are selling for 200-300 on craigslist
Agree you cannot sell your apps .
Most will transfer to SGS 2

I always sell my old phones via ebay.
To get top dollar you need the box and all original accessories. Phone needs to be in good condition and preferably factory reset. If you flashed it preferably flashed back to "current" stock so that the buyer can use kies for updates if they wish.
If you search ebay and select for "completed listings" you'll find how much others have actually sold for as opposed to how much they are currently being bid up to. Approx £200 +- 15%. If you don't meet the conditions above it'll be less.
Listing and final selling fees approx 10%, plus paypal fees will make a hole in your selling price
As others have said, your paid apps are attached to your Google account so remain with you when you port your account to your new phone....they can't be sold on.

So, I've been seeing and hearing a lot about this offer that Samsung are doing to finance an S8 or S8+ if you trade in any galaxy phone (excluding the note series) from S3 up to S7 Edge.
Intrigued by it, I took a look and noticed a huge flaw in their offer.
If I trade in an S3, I get a brand new S8 at a discount, with 24 monthly payments of £20. If I want an S8+, it is £25 for the same term of 24 months.
However (and here's the flaw) if I was to trade in my S7 Edge, I still pay the exact same amount as someone who trades in an S3... What kind of offer is that?
Being the person that I am, I asked an online Samsung agent about whether I get more money off for exchanging my S7 Edge over an S3, but they couldn't give me an answer and referred me to their terms and conditions for the offer, which still didn't give me an answer.
I have since been on Facebook messenger to them and asked the question again, but I haven't had a response.
Has anyone else had the same thought process as me?
