I recently upgraded my phone to the RR os on oreo 8.1 and i want to go back to the stock gallery app, but i can't find it ?
Do you know how i can either install it if it's still on the phone, or where i can find it ?

I'm not sure if what i will tell you actually works, because i haven't tried it, but if you look at apkmirror there are lots of apks like the stock camera app the stock gallery app and the stock settings app.

Hi is it possible to have the normal HD desire Camera app on the MIUI rom.as i have tried installing one what was in a zip file for TB Fusion rom just the camera app and installed it by recovery however it does install and does appear.but when it opened it crashes any ideas

Hi Sumsy2010,
No it is not possible, The camera app is designed around the HTC SENSE framework. So it will not work for MIUI framework. If I may give you a tip, check an camera app in the android market you are bound to find one to find your needs. Other wise it's back to HTC SENSE if MIUI camera app doesn't suit your needs.

I just encountered and error which also happened when I had my LG Optimus Black. After unninstalling stock Gallery in 4.2.2. ROM, camera app dissapears. I'm using QuickPic, which I find very usefull, but I wanna get rid of stock gallery. Is there any way to do it?
Camera is included in Gallery.apk. You can try Camer JB from Play store...

Do you have somebody original stock rom? EU version would be perfect!
Please, if yes, could you upload me apps from /system/app? I have deleted some app which caused lost of wallpaper, status bar, gallery, screen of multitasking (long press home button)... so my phone is quite not a smartphone anymore ...
Hope I will find somebody because I will have to flash new rom and set everything again if not...

I've been trying to figure out how to get stamina mode on my custom rom Liquid Smooth v3.0. I have been reading up but cannot find any information. I also want the sony walkman app and the sony camera app, as it seams to take the best pictures with the xperia z camera.
I have seen some threads for installing stamina mode on other sony devices (I cant post the links till I make ten posts!). But I have not seen any for the xperia.
Is there a safe way in install Stamina mode on an xperia z custom rom? and can you get the sony apps such as camera and walkman?

for album , walkman , movie , yes u can just extract from sony stock rom , and install on custom rom like normal apk
for camera no u can't
for stamina mod , i don't think so

Hey mate. I assumed you meant extract with titantium backup from stock rom 4.3, then flash custom rom (liquidsmooth 3.0). then restore the app? I tried this and it did not work. They apps would not restore successfully.
are there other ways of extracting from sony stock ROM.
Also, which camera app do you use? I find that the stock liquidsmooth camera is not as good as the sony camera app. the photos are much less sharp.

don't use titanium backup , download any root explorer and go to system/app and search for the media apps , put them on sd card , and when u are in liquid smooth , just install them as normal apk , and for camera, idk , never tried another app ,

I have S3 9305 running official 4.4.4 kitkat firmware..
my S3 is rooted.. I saw some Note4 ports for s4 nd S5 running kitkaton XDA forum..
some of them like messaging, accu weather widgets, file manager, Snote, new touch wiz launcher. flipboard breifing etc run succesfully on GT-I9305 kitkat also..
but applications like settings menu, System Ui etc hv some force close issues nd some resolution problems as well..
I really liked those white note 4 settings menu nd stuff.. so I downloaded Galaxy A5 firmware and extracted it to get official A5 apks.. A5 is also based on 4.4.4 kitkat.. but those apks didnot work on I9305 kitkat 4.4.4
can anyone help with these apks of A5 working on S3 LTE 4.4.4 ??
you cant just take apps from one device, they need to be modified and you need to do a lot of debugging,, simple logcats while the app is fc is a way of finding out what the problem is. most apps also rely on lib files too

can u guide about modding the apps ?? as a newbie where it can be started ??
I extracted SecSettings.apk yesterday to get the xml but it was corrupted.. I think because it was from stock odexed rom.. how can odexed apks be converted to deodexed apks ??
