How to prevent lock screen ? - Honor Play Questions & Answers

I am new to the honor play, so will have to ask for your help. I need to disable the lock screen what I switch off the mobile and then on again , I do want to go directly to home screen. I have tried finding the setting for this but could not, although done before for other phone. Thanks

I imagine, you just need to turn off all security, I have my phone set to be unlocked if my blue tooth is by the phone, which gives security and no lock screen.

Lock screen being bi passed

I have my lock screen set up as a pattern, and sometimes it'll just bi pass the entire lock screen and turn my phone on right to my home screen. Has anyone had this and have a fix?

In settings -> security
There is an option called automatically lock, set it to "immediately" and it will lock at instantly when the screen goes off. If it is set to anything else, it is possible to use the phone without the pattern until that time is reached.

There is a setting in security where u can chose power button instantly locks. Look for the option power button, not automatically lock.
I do have knowledge with android, im not a total air head! If I don't have a pin or pattern set up, and just slide, then it doesn't bi pass it.

Bixby Routines - Unlock Phone

I have a Bixby routine set for Home that turns on Wi-Fi and keeps the phone unlocked. Trouble is, the phone unlock seems to stop working after a period of time (using the phone or not), and the only way to fix it is to turn off the routine and turn it back on.
Anyone else seeing this?
Unfortunately, I do not have an answer to your question, but another question: How do you set the phone to unlocked? Cannot find "unlock phone" as an option, except at the default "in car"-routine
I just tried creating a new routine, and I see the option under the "Lock Screen" category.

Strange. The only options on my S10e for Lock screen, is Always on display, and Change lock screen shortcuts.
If I could just copy another routine, it would be easy.
Why not use smart lock and set it to stay unlocked at a location?

Smart Lock tends to rarely work for me, and there's also the fact it disables 4 hours after inactivity.
I am in a basement, but I don't think that's actually causing an issue as the moment I disable and re-enable my Home routine, it starts working as it should again immediately.
Do you have received a work profile enforced on the phone?

What's the initial routine you're using? Also, what's your normal lock screen type and unlock method?
I use a fingerprint + Pattern unlock normally. As for the routine, it's the "Home" one that I believe was an initial recommended one that I just modified.
It will show up if the if condition is set to "place"

Accessing that area can be done on Samsung devices aswell. This is not a security flaw, that area is meant to be accessible from lock screen so if you need to turn flashlight on or similar things without needing to unlock your device.
But if you pick some of the buttons it will request you to unlock the device to do the action. Only some of the buttons can be used while on lock screen.
On Samsung if you touch WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile data and position tracking on lock screen it will then request you to unlock the device to be able to turn them off or on.
After checking my Asus Rog phone 2 I see what you mean now. It seems Asus didn't add such security, which they should.

yes asus keep every things accessible so if someone stole ur phone in 3 sec the phone will be in offline mode and lost for ever
in my Huawei they totally block using the above scroll bar and add some useful shortcuts on lock screen for flash and so on
You need to enter password to disable the data connection from the lock screen ...

Can I completely lock my Pixel 5 on power button click?

I have my P5 which I love. But there's one annoying thing about it that I can't figure out how to toggle: When I turn off the display by clicking the power button, then when I touch the (now turned off) display again (eg whwen putting the phone in my pocket) it turns on in an "unlocked" state. The padlock on the top of the screen is unlocked and I can interact with whatever apps are displayed on my lock screen. If I turn off the display and put the phone down on a table then (at least after a while) when I double click the display it turns on and the padlock is now displayed locked and I can interact with anything until I actually unlock it using the fingerprint sensor.
So my question is: Is there any way I can make the phone lock immediatly and completely when I switch off the display by clicking the power button?
Thanks in advance

Actually yes. But I had that switched on but as it says: "Except when kept unlocked by Smart lock". That I had missed. Smart lock was switched on and I hope that was the culprit. It is now switched off
Thanks for the help!

Very welcome, my friend!
Glad you got it setup.

Change Screen Lock Type

So I have set a PIN and also recorded biometric data (Fingerprints and Face). The
PIN seems to be the default method. Is there any way to make either my fingerprint
or face recognition the default (w/PIN as backup)? It's not obvious
TIA
it will always want your pin at bootup. after that biometrics should take over if they're stil turned on.

Does not behave like that. For example if I turn screen off using a double tap, then when I touch the screen to turn it on it still wants the PIN after I swipe up???? It says "Enter your PIN as required by the security policy" ??
