1) There is problem with playstore download notifications due to rom source:
to fix this :
Go to Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> "See all apps" -> "Show System". Search for "Data Transfer Tool" or "Android Setup"
Disable it and reboot your device
Play store download notification will start working from now!
2) There is latest adreno graphics driver available for pie. Download it here.

Anyway I uploaded all the files you could possibly need here, including OP's custom recovery, latest Aroma GAPPS package (if you want it), and the latest available Google Camera for Mi Max 2 running Pie with enhanced night mode and no crashes...I believe this site works great in all Chinese regions, but I only have a free account and low data limit, so get it whilst it's hot:

The latest GAPPS for Pie works fine, I'm running the full Aroma package and everything works 110% even Pixel exclusive features.
If you're not sure what to get, most devs recommend Nano:

As you said yourself Treble always needs it's own modified TWRP, that's why Magisk isn't working. There's no dual TWRP's and probably wont ever be.

Installation instructions:
Installing Mahdi-Rom for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/Team Win Recovery Project for ext4
- Copy GApps and ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Make a backup of your current rom just in case
- Wipe data, cache and dalvik-cache
- Flash Mahdi-Rom zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- I don't recommend changing kernel.
Upgrading from an earlier version:
- Copy the ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe cache and dalvik-cache
- Flash the ROM zip from SDCard

Sometimes when I feel like it I will upload a user variant of this rom.User variant enables odexing and disables some debug modules which makes the rom "lighter". It is still rooted and have superuser.
This version is also built with GCC Linaro 4.8 on kernel and 4.9 on rom which breaks Google camera lens blur rendering..

btw it's interesting that this rom shows 979 MB of RAM available for our device, while (if i recall correctly) others showed 973.
in addition, the baseband version is sometimes read as eur-xxx, and sometimes with it's proper designation. i encourage people with connectivity problems to try out this rom and tell us if network is more stable.

The kernel does not support double tap to wake. OTG support is removed.

you're from Ahmedabad, hence you have the Indian Moto X? Isn't this supposed to work on an XT1092 as well? Since that's the one that you may have used to develop this ROM?

for people asking about other variants sometimes you just have to try it and see....wont turn your phone to a brick...take a nandroid and try it out...for the XT1097 i can say it probably wont boot without this http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/83238/ as mine would not. I have a XT1097 so chances are CM and other roms should have pretty good support as long as i keep having time to get this working. Right now for me CM boots but i have some permission issues with apps accessing the SD card and will look at getting those fixed very soon. The key is patience and understanding that a rom dev/team can't get stuff working or guarantee they will on devices they do not have and as always we all do this in our spare time for fun.

Right now for me CM boots but i have some permission issues with apps accessing the SD card and will look at getting those fixed very soon. The key is patience and understanding that a rom dev/team can't get stuff working or guarantee they will on devices they do not have and as always we all do this in our spare time for fun.

And as for all having confusion if they can flash this ROM on their device or not. I suggest you first try crpalmer's cm12 on your device, as that is more stable. If that boots on your device, then my ROM will surely boot.
And also guys, for those of you who are wondering, I own an xt1092 and it boots perfectly. I supposedly kept the title to xt1095 only, as I thought it wouldn't boot on other variants, and might possibly brick your phone. So you can try and I'll remove that specification from the title.:good:

i followed the instructions and flashed the rom from official lollipop and now i'm having this screen ( encryption unsuccessful) when i turn on the phone... i tried factory resseting but still.... any ideas?

How to install ROM with gapps and without data/cache wipe:
Disable FC noifications in Settings
Flash this TWRP:

Reboot to system
Go to Settings -> Apps
Manually give all permissions to Google Play Services, Play Market and Google Keyboard.
After that open menu with system process.
Find Setup Wizard and give all permissions to him too.
Xposed for TWRP (optional): Google Drive
Step 2:
1) Unpack archive with ADB and put TWRP image there.
2) Copy file with rom to internal/external memory of your phone.
3) Then you should reboot your phone in the droidboot mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume + button)
Then go to the ADB folder and hold Shift + Right Mouse button and write this command:

Then you should reboot your phone in the recovery mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume - button)
Step 3:
Then you phone will reboot in the recovery. In the recovery you should install package with rom.
Step 4:
After flashing, you should format (not wipe) data and cache in the TWRP.
Then you should reboot to system.
How to root this rom:
Go to the develoepr settings and enable it there
Dirty flash:
If you want to make a dirty flash, you should flash rom without gapps and wipe cache.
But if you need gapps, you should wipe data too.

You can get root via Developer Settings because it is a CM-based ROM. xD

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Current Bug List
- In case WFD doesn't Work Just turn off Enable OnScreen Navbar option from Settings/DerpQuest/Buttons it will solve the issue (enable it after using it should be fine too
- In case you did clean install and dont have google dialer UI (calling UI) just go to settings/apps& notification/default apps/set default phone app as phone (google dialer)

New OTA Updater why removed old one?
- This Updater is taken from omni rom it allows users to flash locally downloaded file (not just Sourceforge from other mirrors (Telegram Google Drive Mega ETC)) and it will be flashed from selecting local file from file manager
- We are also planning to switch to incremental updates for each build so that if you are on old one build you will get incremental update not whole package
How To Install OTA Update[ New Updater]
-Just Download (from updater app or from download manager or copy downloaded file from pc to phone) then go to derpfest updater (under settings/system) and tap on top right 3 dot icon open settings from it and enable "Local File Flash" option now after you come back to main updates menu it will show "File" option tap on it and navigate to downloaded file then select it, and it will start installing ota updates after it successfully install you can reboot (do not reboot if you want magisk to survive (see step below) if not then you can just reboot)
If you want magisk to survive after ota updates
after installation complets just go to magisk manager tap on first option then tap "Install Magisk" Tap on it and in select install
tap on install again and in select install method select last option
"Install To Inactive slot after OTA" tap on it and let the process finish after it finished just tap on reboot now (make sure updates have been installed) and done
NoteYou Need Root To Flash OTA Updates else it will stuck in idle mode
Why My Google Assistant Voice Match is not working
- I had to block its services [Hot Word] Services because it is on priority and always keep running it makes other apps mic access unavailable (including camera app in video recording) so unless it is fixed by google i decided to block this services you can enable this services yourself if you want use this app My Android Tools Go to services menu find google app tap on it & then enable it from there
Note:Any issues regarding mic not working will be negleted now
Which GCam Should I Use?
- I suggest HyperCam (Links added Below) it works flawlessly with aux lense support also i have added one config (follow this link to know how to use configs in gcam Here) use that config to get best out of this gcam, you can use it on different gcams too (Untested)

Steps are
download this selinux switch app & install
grant magisk su permissions
tap on permissive & reboot
after reboot open stock camera select portrait mode & try to take some shots (it will be bit laggy but dont worry) now open selinux app again & tap on enforcing and reboot again
after doing this steps portrait mode is working fine enforcing mode in stock mi camera app

Kindly download Settings.apk too and install just like a normal apk if not installed it will cause settings to forcestop for some weird issues to avoid it just install Settings.apk and it will be fixed

yes it is permissive and to be honest if you are gcam or photo geek lover i suggest do not try this or any android 10 roms for tissot gcam is kinda works but notification stucks gcam v7 works but it lags and make phone freeze but choice it up to you
other then that it is stable for daily use (p.s included camera works falwlessly tho) and 3rd party camera apps are fine too

In A11 the OOS cam has problem and the only way to use it is by opening through shortcut but in video only. For photo capture it is recommended to use GCam.

Use nikgapps omni & Your SS shows there are no Gapps installed
