You need to unlock BL firstly then you need to install custom recovery & wipe data (where you type 'yes' in TWRP) & factory reset phone from TWRP then install the ROM by selecting it
The Steps are also listed at the mi globe website on the how-to section you can also find it there

I'm completely new to android (got it today)
now i've seen a mod named cyanogenmod and i thought it would be awesome if it runs on my device
So i rooted my device and from there i'm stuck
I don't know if my bootrom is locked but i assume so. But i have no idea where to begin..
i tried to lookup some tutorials but it's clearly for advanced users cause i only see ??? in my head
As an ios user for quite some time the android side of 'hacking' is much more complicated as a user.
can anyone help me unlock my bootrom and installing this custom rom?

Its called a bootloader and there are many threads in the general section to guide you.
I'll just list the steps you need to take
1. Root
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Install custom recovery (twrp)
4. Backup your data
5. Wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
6. Flash CM ROM and gapps(Google apps)

So iam at step 2 right now
I have adb on the right path and everything.
But when i type the command: adb reboot oem-unlock
It just reboot and does nothing.
it should give me the option to unlock my bootloader

It is supposed to work. Never mind. Did you try other supersu.zip files? Coz sometimes these packages may also be corrupt.
In case if you are not successful try this tool called lenovo k3 note manager..

i got latest twrp 3.1.1 and superSU 2.82... let me try 1st,

i follow this step by step procedure, now im on k50a40 s433 ROOTED and i can put back my NVRAM. Just want to share whoever got problem flashing s433 on A7000-a, make sure download correct file on the thread and carefully read the instruction. If your platform are marshmallow, do flash boot image via twrp (flash image, not flash zip). My step from dead A7000-a to K50a40 :-
1. Use SP Flash (v5.1540.00.000) to flash K50a40_S422_160315_ROW( https://cloud.mail.ru/public/C9th/nvAqozUua )
2. Follow this step ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66229157&postcount=4187 )
When the procedure done/finish( OK GREEN TICK ). Turn on ypur device normally, put this file on SD Card ( https://cloud.mail.ru/public/CNTk/6..._ROW_TO_K50a40_S424_160328_ROW_WC655382B6.zip ) to update s422 to s424 or do it OTA.
Now you should get K50a440 s424 on your device.
Done all this step...... will have notification to update s424 to s427... then s427 to s433, all this i done through OTA( or you can search for update.zip and put in SD )
TO ROOTED s433
1. Follow this step ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/k3-...3-note-k50-t3158522/post66156802#post66156802 ), make sure all necessary file are downloaded and place on SD Card( read carefully the step )
After you done all the procedure, check rooted using root checker apk ( google play free )

Backup all your important app data.
Do a TWRP backup of current ROM. (precautionary step)
Download modified full recovery stock rom - TWRP_Stock_v340.zip from this post.
Download decrypt.zip from HERE.
Reboot to TWRP.
Go to wipe and select swipe to Factory reset.
Flash the ROM file.
Flash decrypt.zip file.
Reboot & Enjoy.
Users coming from Android Pie reported microphone issues - in case you face it then flash DolbyPlus-Oreo_8.1.zip from THIS post via Magisk which might resolve the issue.
(optional) If you want to boost up by debloating then use this MOD.

Well I am trying to flash this ROM coming from RR but somehow its taking half an hour to encrypt so is it necessary to encrypt can't we just skip it ???
also it did erased TWRP as when I am trying to get in TWRP using volume up + power button its get back to default bootloader that came with mobile .....
also do I have to flash again TWRP again after this to get back root via magisk......

Did you performed factory reset and flashed ROM & decrypt.zip
The TWRP survives the flash and Magisk can be flashed to Root the ROM but after above two files are flashed.
Well I successfully flashed ROM after complete factory reset with internal memory tooo ......
But some how TWRP got replaced with factory default (the one with root checker) with bootloader unlocked screen

I believe this is the exact same firmware as the official one. It is just modified to work with TWRP. Nothing more, nothing less.

You will have to format data (i.e. factory reset) but the Internal Storage will be safe.

This ROM should work on X00T and X00TD both. Can you please validated checksum again for the downloaded file.

I am on stock build 311 and Rom X00TD , i am unable to root or even unlock bootloader on my device.
Tried all methods , on YouTube and xda but all wasted.
Though , i debloated my phone using one of the methods mention in a thread in xda and even installed xda navbar using adb.
Please help.

Have you checked the drivers if they are installed.
Do one thing .. see if in fastboot .. if you get any responce for fastboot devices command from pc.

hey guys i have figured out a solution for the bootloop that happens after whatever you have done with your device
First : unlock bootloader and flashing critical if not using "Mi A2 toolkit with rom options"
Second : choose 4. Launch TWRP (one time, does not install) from the toolkit
Third : when TWRP opens up go to wipe and wipe system and cache and data then go back and select reboot to bootloader
Fourth : Extract the stock rom and then open open Flash All , then the phone will boot again normally
i hope this solution will help everyone !

I have a problem.
I tried to install a custom ROM on my Zuk Z2 Pro, but I managed to erase the original one, so now I have no ROM on it. I can only turn it on in recovery or fastboot mode, but I can't connect it to my PC because it is not recognize by it.
I just have TWRP on it, but that's it. I don't have any os img to install in my Zuk's internal storage so I can't install another one using TWRP.
I really don't know what to do now. I just want my phone back :'(
