Very original method to distribute roms. Much easier to use kitchens like superr-kitchen

AOD works and the fingerprint is always on which is pretty awesome. I think he forgot to update that AOD APK to the latest version. Latest one has all bugs squashed.

Porting the theme engine requires the s8 or n8 system ui which arent't compatible nor easy to port due to the different aspect ratios and scaling. So i doubt can port it.
Also looking for t710 beta testers. PM me if you want to try it!

From description I thought it was phone ported rom.
framework is ratio scale independent and scale (dpi) is set in build.prop

Ok so a small message. First of all hitting the Thanks button should be the first thing you do :fingers-crossed:. Sexondly, this build took the longest to make because of just many problems all happening at once.... First the setup wizard would crash. Then after that got fixed Google Play Services just wouldn't work. And now with this third build I have changed some stuff that should make Google Play to work. So PLEASE hit that thanks button for all this effort and showing me, The Tab s2 deserves to live a few more years. Also, Some stuff will be missing from the t715 build (finished) as I have no clue that they work, and always remember this. I do NOT own this device and so will always be unaware of what might happen.Please make backups and use this ROM. Also comment down below if any problems surface.

Well there is a specific variant of this ROM for the t715 literally... Just search it up or check through this forum. It's not that far down.

Hi, After a few hours touch sound set off, and auto brightness set on self is well. Any solution?

Hello fellow Tab S2 users. Ever seen a friends S8 or N8 and gotten jealous of their completely overhauled UI, lovely Always On Display (Edge Lighting too now), Smooth Performance in Games and day-to-day usage and their ridiculously loud mono speakers which sound louder than our Tab S2 speakers because Samsung wants to promote their Tab S3. Well no more! This ROM will do all of that and extra! This ROM is a careful combination and port of both Note's and S8's apps and features but ensuring that performance and efficiency is a priority above all else. The main goal of this ROM is to surpass all of the problems mentioned above but not lose out on awesome features i.e AOD.
NOW I know that I said I wouldn't do that many rebuilds for devices I don't own but I can't help it! This took a while to do so hit the thanks and I'll see you on the next one!

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get very far into this ROM, as there doesn't seem to be a keyboard installed, and even selecting the virtual keyboard option in the input settings causes the entire tablet to restart.

Same here, even installing a keyboard is out as the necessary binaries aren't in the room causing almost constant fc's

Out of curiosity, does your script remove the permissions and keep them removed, like in the pic? I'm just wondering because the ramdisk in the kernel is setting permissions for DVFS. If your script runs after boot it should. But if it runs on boot then it probably doesn't stick.

AOD not work properly

Great rom! Thank you so much for you effort! Clean installed it today coming from Roadrunner rom. Samsung Themes can not be installed. I always get a message "download failed"...??

Notes:
1. RAM management when fresh installed idles around 2GB Free
2. ROM Size has fallen to 1.7 GB(Unpacked) from 2.5 GB (Stock)
3. Device Maintenance swapped for Files GO and SystemUI Tuner. To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
5. Make sure you set Google Dialer as your default phone app. Goto Settings/Apps. Click the three dots in the top right corner. Then click default apps. Then Calling App and select Phone.
6. After first boot, reboot your device once.
7. Substratum does still work, just remember to get Samsung Substratum themes.

I absolutely love how this rom looks. Wonderful mix and match. But there are a few issues.
Sync is not great. I have to open my messaging apps manually to see if I have got any messages, the same is for voice calls. Closing the app means no sync. I would be happy to use this as my daily driver if the sync issue is solved.
The rom in general feels a little sluggish. It got better with a few reboots (Dalvic cache I suppose) but it's not silky smooth.
Battery and Storage are not in the settings menu and as you said, can only be accessed through the quick settings.

how about camera, last time i install pixel rom camera very poor and just make me revert back to custom stock rom

Sorry to say this rom for me at least runs so bad....... stuttering and long pauses mostly when other android 9 roms are so smooth.
It quick;y became unusable so I did a few reboots but still the same. sluggish behaviour and stuttering etc.
I ended up putting back on previous rom BlackDiamond.NFE.PIE.V3.0 and all is buttery smooth again.

This is a custom stock rom. Read the description.

Yeah, I'm working on that. I really have no clue what's causing this hitch, but rest assured, things will only get better after the 20th, when I get my hands on an actual s7 and rebuild step by step.

I love the idea of the rom, I hope you keep up your work. I will try your rom this evening, just want to say thank you for your work.

I'm actually really interested in this ROM, but I'm going to wait until v2 for some of the bugs to be worked out. Thank you for your work.
