Note 9 UI language change not properly translated in "settings" - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

I have a Canadian note 9 and I try to change the UI language in Greek but the "settings" menu is not properly translated. The most of it is still in English.
I tried the language enabler and other commands but the results is still the same. Since we can not root that phone and I guess all american models is there another way to have
a properly translated menu?

Hello, i have the same Problem... I have a Canadian Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960W) and when I set the language to German only some texts are translated and the most text stay in English even after Reboots and the latest Firmware Upgrade.
And before anybody suggests that i should buy the global version of the phone: I won the phone and i'd like to use it.

[Q] SGS i9000 change language

I bought an SGS i9000 in HKG and found later on that the phone is a Korean version. The only languages that can be choosen are UK or US English and Chinese and Korean (the last 2 are a guess however...).
My question is now whether there is a way to "flash" the phone such as it can be set like an European phone with the corresp. choice of languages (English, French, German, Italian...). Although I have a fair English knowledge, I would like to be able to give my phone to the kids and they do not master English so well yet.
The phone has Android 2.2 and FROYO.ZSJPD / Build 2010.10
Any hint is very appreciated.

more Languages for my note 3?

hello everyone
I just got my note3 from att, but there is no Chinese in the system and I could not add more languages with morelocal 2 and language enabler. I know att has locked the bootloader, so is that possible to add Chinese to the rom?
thank you very much

Click to collapse
No. For ATT version, Under Settings>Controls>Language and Input>Language lists the following:
Deutsch
English
Espanol
Francais
Italiano
Korean
You'd have to have a chinese rom to have chinese menus. Right now, ATT still has a locked bootloader, so loading another rom is impossible.
However, if you want to type Chinese (e.g. email or text), download Touchpal X keyboard and add chinese handwriting. Then it will let you text in chinese.
Good luck

Which firmware has Greek Display Language in Note 5 N910I?

Hello
Which firmware has Greek Display Language in Note 5 N910I?
Not sure if N910I will have Greek language. Best bet would be that the Turkish version of the phone might have it, though that is a N910C-model.
If you have root you can enable it yourself on any model: go to system/csc/language.xml. Open the xml in a text editor and add Greek (not sure about the language code but it might be 'el_GR') to 'Display' and/or 'Input' (Input is for writing Greek). Save and reboot and Greek should be enabled.
Australian Firmware has Greek Language and many more, thanks a lot

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 no Polish language

Hello, I have a galaxy note 8 N9500ZCU6DSK2. After a failure, I installed the original rom for this phone and unfortunately there is no Polish language at startup. After installing everything, you can choose the Polish language but it is not fully translated (part in English, part in Polish). On an earlier rom it was possible to choose Polish during installation (and I installed the rom with the same designation). I have a question, is it possible to add Polish to the Rom? Please help.
Samsung Note 8 rom
Hello, urgently needed rom samsung Galaxy Note 8 N9500ZCU6DSK2 with Polish language. Please help.
I somewhat understand you, I speak spanish, but, I preffer English in ALL the devices I use, over time I always find discrepancies in trandlations, it is easier to manage the limited vocabulary that a device uses, and as the devices are designed to use english as the primary language it is always better to use them that way, you can choose your own language as secondary for keyboard, spoken text, etc
