Excuse me if this has been asked, i looked and i could not find an answer to my question.
I have purchased the phone but noticed on some sites it says Android 9 was released about a month ago, and i read everywhere that people are still "testing" beta program.
Any ideas when the official release is supposed to happen not of the beta but of the official android 9 ?

So the Huawei P9 Lite is getting Nougat after all
It seems that the Huawei P9 Lite may be receiving the Android 7.0 update after all. We got a tip in the mail that one owner of a SIM free P9 Lite has gotten an over the air update on his phone in Japan.
The reader isn't enrolled in the beta testing program so this shouldn't be an unfinished build of Nougat.

The firmware sports the build number VNS-L22C635B361 which looks to be official and may very well be the same firmware that Huawei pulled from seeding just yesterday.
It's possible that Huawei has sorted whatever brought the update to a halt and will gradually resume its progress.

It's probably fake, GSM even don't know that only regional updates are published. b361 was released a few weeks ago to c636.
I've seen thousand videos of people updating to 12.5 yesterday as global OTA update but in my phone still not.
It says MiUI 12.0.1 its the latest and it doesnt find OTA and i want to know why. My phone is not operator rom its a retail one.

Also, some weeks ago i changed my region to india and it detected a new update, the 12.0.1 with android 11 in my current region that version wasnt detected yet so i updated with india "region" may be this the cause why am i not getting 12.5 now? Should have i to data factory reset to get 12.5?

Possibly, sadly Denmark never gets included in the tests, which isnt a surprise, they dont even offer us Good Lock stuff over here.

It bumps up the MIUI version to 13.2 and the security patch level to October 2022.

That is cool, yet I might wait a month. Every update withing MIUI that has some version upgrade (Android or MIUI itself) gave me some issue in the past, resolved in the update after that.
So i got today this update available safe to update or any known bugs and better wait ?

I have updated late yesterday.
No problems with the OTA update process.
So far I did not find anything broken!
Too early to say much more.
