This is my first contribution to my Android School XDA. I always wanted to do this project and since I had a lot of free time I thought it's best to put it here. Presenting to you InstaX,a modded Instagram which does all what a normal Instagram app does except that it is in AMOLED Black completely.Often we have issues using our favourite apps like Instagram at night which led me to making this

Many People told me not to do it because we have Substratum already but you know a non-root and a solution that does not need OMS is always preferred

Some minor things that maybe I am not aware of
ENSURE THAT YOU UNINSTALL ALL OTHER VERSIONS OF INSTAGRAM
I haven't changed the package name but if you'll say I will do that too
Users with custom skins like MIUI,ZenUI,ColorOS etc may have some issues
Please force stop the app before using it for the first time
I don't know about the issues with Android 5.0 and below because of some changes in the Material Design Guidelines by Google

Can you try changing your dpi to a larger value?,
I have custom colored those icons and used dimensions of xxhdpi and mate 20 pro is a huge phone so maybe it caused some issues

I am on WQHD+ and not rooted. So I can't change my dpi. Or I am to blind to find it [emoji23]
I use a black theme maybe this is the reason. I can live with it because I know where the buttons are. Your work is great I was looking for a black and gold insta. [emoji4][emoji4]

If you're using another Instagram mod can you try uninstalling it?
And also in the settings of EMUI I'm sure there'll be something related to dpi
Try once and revert back
If not then my team will try figuring out what's wrong
Also there is a neon accent if you like to use it ?

Hi everybody
You might have seen this theme in my friend Carburanos Django Manouche Transformation Pack Deluxe or in his 1.2 rom. Now it`s time to release it in an own tread.
I`ve decided to call it The Greyness Theme and it`s ment to be dark, as little color as possible and I wanted it kind of neutral and minimalistic.

However here is one wish from my side. Is it possible to get a center clock in this theme?

Thanks the way you tested was making me able to correct things I could not done as I wouldn't know then.... For center clock, it can cause issue if you get to many icons on left side(I've heard)

Looks smooth bro. Except for the toggles. They can be improved a bit. Maybe you can check the CM12 MIUI themes or an actual MIUI ROM and change it a bit.

I have to agree with him. Make it flat. Bevel or rounded **** is so old! We can try some sample cm12 themes here on xda itself. Let me try and find one.

Check the screenshots. I wish i had time to install these in my cm12 devices to get more SCs for you man. But ideally it should be flat and sweet!
But from the choices you have given... the second one is waay better than the first!

Oh this looks so much better man! Good job!! Okay so the brightness slider should be the second one for sure! But I think it would look more MIUI to use a simple brightness slider and edit / settings / profile icons. Check this:

Hey everyone, cutting the story short,after some guidance from @Mentalmuso and @Zacharee1 I've went manic on making this work.
At the moment this is proof of concept if ya like,but in near future I'm planning to make more themes.
One of my goals is to make status bar themes using the same concept,but we'll leave that for later.
Currently only recent,home and back buttons are changeable, I'll add support for rest of nav bar buttons later.

I would imagine it's going to be a new app like previous themes when CM got a version bump which personally I'm good with. If I can say thanks with a couple bucks buying it , I will. It's deserved. Kinda like it's a new theme just with the same style.

Hiii my brother @djdarkknight96, a little opinion of me, maybe you could add a little touch of rouded ui transparent in every system ui (reboot, sound volume, notifications and other), I tried to combine rounded ui-owned dev gianluca spadazzi unfortunately not look transparent, but white rounded ... maybe if you apply it more transparent ui rounded look super cool bro ...
oh ya bro, please added ui transparent to application hinstallation packages during the installation process ... it seems you forgot to add it bro ... I'll always wait for the next update of your bro ...

No I have my own plans bud. Those are things other Themers have...I'm not following anyone else just my own fresh ideas.

On my first setup of the phone, i was able to install and use Samsung's own High Contrast II theme, which is the best black theme that i used until now.
I was forced to reset my phone, and after that, logging in with the same Samsung account, i was not able anymore to find that theme.
I looked into all themes of Samsung, and there is no High contrast theme there.
Can someone please upload it here?
It was free, so i guess is no issue with that.

i will have a look, but i will prefer as well the original one if possible, with icons and everything.

Yes .. or it is very similar .. i remember that it was named High Contrast II.
I have tried using that link, but i alaways get : item not available
It is really strange, as i had that the first time when i started configuring the phone, but not after a reset.
Where are the themes saved? maybe some one can upload it and share it.

It's the same theme.. they renamed.. i had and checked.. it's the same

Trust me I did read the full post before I write here
The link doesant work it opens the theme but there it says error it.s not yet available
That URL, from post #4, if opened with Samsung Themes, it should show it ... but it seems it is not available for Romania anymore .. which is strange, as it was.
It seems that in the last week, premium theme store was launched in Romania .. and since then, this theme is not available anymre for us.
As it is a free theme ... if someone can, please post it here (i do not know what is the path where theme APK is saved ..)

I have both Samsung High Contrast
installed on my phone.
I also tried to paste link to theme here, but give same message as you stated above.
Best is to search Theme Store for
High Contrast.
Search should show 2 x themes ?
The second theme Samsung "High Contrast. Sky Black" is according to my installed themes the same theme..? as High Contrast 2
Otherwise
Oxy_OS_Black by Lucas Kendi (free on Samsung Themes) is very close to High Contrast.
Just note this theme changes you navebar icons (quite nice)

IT was at most popular themes in Samsung theme store. Rly strange that ppl can't find it. I'm still using it, rly hate that notifications are still white...

i originally downloaded the Oxy theme (free)
long time back.
