My display has a shade of red, a bar, but it's impossible to determine the width. And it is hardly visible and only on a white background. Bottom of the screen.

I've just bought an Orange M700 and am horrified to find the phone pad uses grey keys on a grey background; hardly visible at the best of time and absolutely invisible in sunlight. Moreover the two most important pieces of info on the screen are microscopic in font size (the person’s name you are calling and the phone state ie dialing). Given all the space above the keypad I'm amazed!!. Am I missing something here? Does anyone know how to change all this layout and colour scheme or is there another dialer I can install. Anyone got any pictures of others. I can't believe this is the norm for everyone is it?

There are different colours for the dialpad from different providers example,Vodafone black keys on a grey background ,HTC dark green keys on a light green background,O2 dark blue keys on a light blue background,but if you really want some variety then checkout www.zombienexus.net.
as this is my first oled screen phone i really wonder about one thing:
if it's dark and the brightnes is set to min i see quite some vertical stripes (brighter and darker vertical lines going from the top to the bottom of the screen) is that normal to oled screens? or did i just get a phone with a bad screen?

Do you see it on white backgrounds or any colored background? I think it is because the display is PenTile we are bound to get some weird banding

i see it really strong if there is a gray area (like for example the chrome background when it starts). if the displayed image has more texture its hard to notice but also there.
It sounds normal to me. I discovered the same with my first pentile-matrix screen. It is quite ugly to me. If I glance at a TFT LCD screen it looks so much cleaner and beautiful.
Has anyone recognized that there is a white Gradient on the phone?
In Contacts, Settings and all other white surfaces the white is clean white on the top and the more to the bottom it goes the darker, dirtier or "yellowish" it becomes..
Or is it just me seeing this?

Most likely something weird with your device, I don't have this problem myself.
is it only with the colour white? Because i just checked my phone and i dont have a problem like that

suddenly theres a white scratch inside my htc one , it only appear when the screen is black or darker colour. whats that? how to fix it? cant find any solution on google?

Hello. I recently noticed I can see a faint light grid on lower third of my huawei p30 pro
It is most noticeable on grey backgrounds and it is very faint but quite worrying
Does anybody know what this could be or what a possible solution would be?
