Phone info in settings - Razer Phone 2 Questions & Answers

I remember on other phones/roms you could go to settings>system (bottom choice) and see device info such as ram. We don't have that?

It's in the developer options in the system settings.

settings menu missing?

when I cooked my rom, my settings menu disapeered, it does it with all of my cooked roms. How do i get it back?
if your wanting the settings menu to go to manila settings, look for settings.lnk in your kitchen and make sure it is getting moved to the start menu...if your wanting the settings menu that goes to the windows settings menu...look for hidesettings and make sure you have it set to 0...

Home and Back buttons gone.

I just installed the All in one Rom and it seems to work well....however, the buttons on the bottom (for "back" and "Home") are gone. Is there a way to get it back or should I just reflash?
It says this right in the first post of the thread for that ROM:
For first time users after bootup:
Settings > System > Navigation Bar >Tablet UI soft buttons, check
Settings > Rom Control > General UI > Show Menu UI Overflow (otherwise there is no way to enable MTP, open browser settings, wifi settings, etc)
Settings > Storage> Menu (three-buttons at top right)-> USB Computer Connection > Media device (check MTP)to make sure your TP usb charges properly. I had to go into portrait to see the three buttons. It should already be checked

Hide Caller ID in JellyBean 4.1 or 4.2

After installing a custom ROM on my Nexus One and upgrading from Gingerbread (2.3.6) I was confused when I wasn't able to find the "Hide Caller ID" setting in JellyBean. However, to my fortune and your benefit, I have found this setting hidden away in the phone app!
You simply go to your Phone app --> hit the capacitive menu button --> hit Settings --> Additional Settings --> Caller ID --> Hide number
and there you go!
Thank you, this helped a lot
Pretty straightforward, thank you!
Great!
I was looking for it at the phone settings under "Wireless & Networks" where it normally is without finding it. So thanks for the hint.:good:
Not working to me

Hi
Do this
Go to settings -> scroll to bottom and choose the info option -> about galaxy gear -> tap the software version 4-5 times and it will count down from 3 -> go one screen back and will have the debug option
it is the same thing, you have to do on the galaxy s4, to get the debug option
Hope this helps
-TB-
From settings select "gear info" and then "About gear" then press software version repeatedly until developer options are unlocked (you will get a notification). USB debug will now be available in the previous menu.
This is the same on all android roms after 4.2

Recent Apps disappear

Hey Folks,
I have noticed that the apps in my Recent App window would disappear after a while. I have never used the Clear All button to clear those apps.
What caused this behaviour guys?
It could be "Auto optimisation"
Settings > Device Care > (... in the top right) >Auto optimisation

This is not working In my Infinix ® android 9. I've tried (1) convert them to system app (2) set the low memory in kernel and (3) I've 1.5GB RAM left. Could you guys suggest another module or config to prevent apps keep appear in a Recent App window?
