About Project:
Citrus-CAF was initially based off CyanogenMod in the early days of its inception. Later, the suggestions were taken into consideration and the needs and demands of our users were carefully studied. On realising the potential of CAF tags, and how CAF optimisations can help Snapdragon devices run with its full capability, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get the full-fledged taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind, but in time, a lot of people joined us, each giving their own contribution.
With the release of Android Pie, we decided to bring back this project to life with more optimisations and stability in our mind. We present to you Citrus-CAF KeyLimePie. Hope you enjoy your time using this ROM.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can do what all others do at forums and communities! • If Magisk doesn't appear on App drawer even after first boot, just install Magisk Manager app normally.
• Encryption not yet supported
• It's not treble build even though it has vendor partition enabled

CAF source unlike AOSP source don't always have latest security patches. However, they do pick important updates and fixes from the latest patch release but they will not have the latest patch release. As an example, the current october patch of this rom will have certain important fixes from the latest december patch of other AOSP roms. The patch date for CAF and CAF based ROMs will always be 2-3 months behind the latest patch date of AOSP ROMs This is how CAF works and dev can't do anything about it.

For some reason I get a weird wifi error. It seems impossible to turn wifi on and the mac adress is 02:00:00:00:00 . Flashed latest firmware,tried to reset network settings, did the procedure from scratch in case I forgot to clean flash or format data but nothing seems to work.

Fingerprint issue
There is fingerprint unlock issue ,when i put my finger on scanner it take 4-5 seconds to unlock, which is annoying me, i hope in the future this will be fix it.
I was on miui 10 stable before unlocking.. Do i need to flash miui10 beta firmware or is it fine?.. btw I've download the twrp from op but do i need to rename any partition to vendor for the treble or just flashing the given twrp and install rom is fine? I'm a bit outdated in this as I haven't been involved in kenzo xda for about a year.. I was running los 14 till now.. Good work dev

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. Nope , user has to flash himself.
So, you guys, a part of Citrus-CAF?
Aaah, yes! its our another project based on CAF, and featurerich!
Solution for all fingerprint issues:
1. Download latest Oreo stock fastboot from Xiaomi
2. Flash using miflash with full wipe and lock
3. Once you get to setup wizard don't setup anything, reboot back to bootloader
4. Flash userdata image from august nougat stock
5. Format userdata to get correct userdata size
6. Boot latest TWRP and flash latest Cardinal Rom
7. Flash TWRP (optional)
8. Reboot into recovery and flash latest magisk (optional)
After this all 5 fingerprints will work fine including delete, no more left over fingerprint after deleting, solution is permanent unless you downgrade to nougat stock, then you have to do the procedure again.

That isn't necessary... I didn't delete any FP but just did a system and data wipe.

no i was on lineage os before then i flashed validusOS and then i flashed cardinal but in cardinal OS my FP failed to detect....so i tried RR it also failed to detect so then i restored back to lineage OS and surprisingly it detect my FP. I do not know what happened so i am clean flashing RR to test what is the problem.

Mi A1 stock camera Portrait mode option not showing.

Fails to flash error code 7. I'm on the latest TWRP too. Any ideas?

Have you tried Syberia 9.0 rom? Its also updated by dev. I'm on Syberia and feel the same way, that rom is awesome. Trying to get your opinion on both roms to see if one is better than the other in some way.

Don't compare roms ! It's all about hard work and talent of great devs, likes and dislikes vary person to person but talent should never be compared.

About Project:
Citrus-CAF was initially based off CyanogenMod in the early days of its inception. Later, the suggestions were taken into consideration and the needs and demands of our users were carefully studied. Why is the security patch older then the latest AOSP patch?
CAF focus on delivering the latest hardware patches and are usually about a month behind Google on security patches, on the other hand, Google is usually a month or more behind on them on caf patches (sometimes months). No point in complaining about it, if you want the latest security patch, go with an AOSP based rom (like LineageOS), if you want latest qualcomm optimizations for our hardware as well as fixes, go with caf, its as simple as that.

Working fine
I will ask here too. I had havocos 2.9. Fingerprint / pin worked fine. I tried one of the previous havocos 3 builds (clean install) and I had problems unlocking / forced reboots in lock screen. I restored my 2.9 backup and unlock works fine on lock screen again. Many reported the same issue.
Is there any way to clean install havocos 3 again and avoid somehow this issue?

Original post would suggest you format, not wipe, the data partition before clean flashing ROM.
Try it.
Finally its on XDA. Russian forums are very difficult to understand. I've tried this rom & its fantastic and very stable. The lockscreen bug is also fixed. Plus the edge glow during ambient display is amazingly beautiful.
Now only if privacy guard is added then Redmi note 3 will have its very own ultra stable 10 much faster than other phones. I'm also going to try the 66 hz refresh custom kernel soon.

Does anyone have a working gcam version for android q? All older versions i tried, either crash or after you take a photo the circle thing that says "processing hdr" never finishes.

Some things may be broken by going Official, because there is a rule to use only original souce code from Havoc, and some things like BT calls get fixed only by modifying sources.
I have installed this rom but VoLTE is working only in sim slot 1 . I have VoLTE sim in slot 2 which I cannot move.
In Oreo & pie roms for kenzo, VoLTE is enabled for both the slots.
Could anybody tell me how to enable it for sim slot 2 ?
Pls add privacy guard and customize doze option.
