Magisk + Xposed on G800H (Galaxy S5 Mini DuoS) with 6.0.1 Marshmallow Stock ROM - Magisk

Hi,
sorry for posting double / at the wrong place / whatever, I'm still quite a noob when it comes to phone modding. I DID use the search function, and Google, and have literally read articles since days and tried out many things, but nothing worked. Please heeeelp!!!
To the topic:
I own a Galaxy S5 Mini DuoS (G800H/DS) with Stock ROM 6.0.1 Marshmallow. I managed to install Magisk 18.0 successfully on it (as the app says). But for some reason I can't install "Xposed for Magisk". When I download it through the Magisk App, whenever I reboot it gets stuck at the 'Samsung' logo (the animation that follows after the 'Samsung Galaxy S5 mini startup screen). Only way to get it to boot again is to go to Custom Recovery and remove Magisk with the uninstaller .zip ...
To make things short, is *ANYONE* here who has a Galaxy S5 mini with Marshmallow and a confirmed *WORKING* Magisk / Xposed setup? Then please, PLEASE tell me what exact files I have to download and how I have to set it up step-by-step (noob, remember?) ...
Apart from that, any other suggestions appreciated. I previously managed to install Xposed (custom build for Samsung) _alone_, but I want it as a module for Magisk instead ...

Xposed Framework Lollipop Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900P) [HELP]

I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P) running android version 5.0. I have tried installing the MOAR ROM and it wanted me to to install Android 5.0 Bootloader. I went and flashed the file with Odin and I apparently soft-bricked my phone. It said that the upgrade encountered a firmware issue. This is the error message I got when trying to turn on my phone: "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" I also tried going into TWRP recovery mode and it didn't allow me to do that. I'm wondering if I did anything wrong or why my device didn't work. I want to install a custom ROM so I will be able to install Xposed Framework and don't know what ROM would work for my specific device model (SM-G900P). What ROM would allow me to install the Xposed Framework for my device model and version and be certain that I will not encounter any issues. I am thinking that if I install a custom ROM that it will allow me to install the Xposed Framework because I'm hearing that Samsung Galaxy S5 Stock ROM's aren't able to install Xposed Framework for lollipop 5.0, please help me out so I can install Xposed Framework and get all the modules that I had before upgrading to android 5.0. I would really appreciate some help and support to fix this issue. Do you guys know any custom ROM's that will work for my model and version that will also allow Xposed Framework to be installed on my particular device?

[Help] Xposed for Samsung Galaxy S5 (g900a) touchwiz lollipop 5.0

I just upgraded to lollipop 5.0 manually on my laptop by flashing it via ODIN on my laptop. However, I am unable to install the Xposed framework now because I am aware that the ART has been changed and what not, causing systems to boot loop. I've looked everywhere for a guide on how to install the framework but I'm not getting anywhere. I rooted my phone already but what I've been reading is that I need to "deodex" my system ROM. Any link, video, or help is greatly appreciated.

I have tried to fully uninstall the magisk and reinstall it on the newer version and nothing can anyone help please
I have also fully reinstalled the ROM with formatting everything and it still don't boot
Your bootloader must be unlocked to flash LOS on the S5, right? I have the same setup as you and running no issues at all. Are you flashing the zip after flashing the ROM?

The Samsung galaxy S5 plus (g901F) is different from Samsung galaxy S5 (g900) si magisk work on second one but on the first one magisk v13 never worked and it's confirmed at the lineage OS side. I'm on this case too so I confirm the issue.

So glad someone eles has the same problem and I'm not on my own it just seems weird how the v12 works it don't pass but all loads fine. Let hope they find why and fix it.
Flash your stock bootloader then try flashing magisk
I'm using the stock bootload not changed my bootloader
If it was the bootloader why foes v12 work fine?
No request to have any information about this ?
What do the devs need (other than time of course) to try a troubleshooting ?
How to get this logs/boot image and logs ?
Managed to get it working, but did a clean install and lost it, first time I got it working I was at 19-07-2017 build with magisk manager 5.1.1 and magisk 12, with magisk folder mount and magisk ext SD access modules installed, then upgraded to 26-07-2017 build through official update from settings, and after installation I rebooted the phone into recovery and installed magisk 13.3 (as you know when updating we lose magisk root) and it worked.
Then did a clean install of 26-07 build (thinking it will work) but nope.

I tried to do that again but I couldn't. As said:
In was on 19-07-2017 build with magisk 12 sdk and magisk manager 5.1.1 app, had magisk folder mount 0.8.5 and SD card access module, then on 26.07.2017 I received the weekly update, after update I rebooted the phone into recovery and instead of magisk 12 sdk I installed magisk 13.3 (for testing) and it worked. I tried doing that again but didn't worked so I don't know what to say lol.

I posted a logging of the problem on the main support thread, let's see what happens
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ap...sal-systemless-t3432382/page1765#post73249492
cross the fingers (I hope that you say like that in English)
Fingers crossed they sort it. Would love yo be able to use magisk again
Does anyone here have this issue on a stock ROM or is it just Lineage OS? From the log that was posted in the main support thread it looks like the Magisk installation was successful, but the system hangs on this one line before it can fully boot. I'm not qualified to read more than that out of the log though...
There's been some code added to GitHub in the last few days. Have anyone tried the latest unofficial snapshot? There was a new one built yesterday: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/unofficial-magisk-v10-beta-built-t3521901
Hi we got anymore news on this I have tried the latest beta one and it still gets stuck at booting.
It seems there is nothing to expect from nor magisk team neither lineage team. Nobody seem want to work on this really specific problem.

Cannot get ANY Xposed to work on Galaxy S5 (G900I) (Stock ROM) (MarshMallow) (Official & Unofficial)

Hi guys
Spent a total of 9 hours 10 mintues today non stop trying to get Xposed to work on my Galaxy S5.
Went through many, many flashable zip files for the official versions both early and recent and unofficial ones (wanam)
Covered every YouTube video on it I could find.
The wanam ones flashed successfully but made Android completely unusable (after boot up) from errors informing me that 'Play services have stopped working' The message would not go away which made the phone unusable.
The official flashable zip builds all put me into a boot loop.
Each time I was using the same xposed uninstaller to remove them after finding out they didn't work.
I don't know if I am missing something but I really don't know what to do now.
I did have this working on Stock ROM recently and then after a factory reset I have not for the life of me been able to find a working version.
Man, no Xposed is working on stock Samsung ROM after recent Google Play Services update (after version 20), and i think there is no turning back from this, if you are in stock Samsung you have to give up to Xposed.
Thanks for getting back. What is a confirmed ROM which works with xPosed on the S5? Will lineage be ok? Thanks.
I do not use or have an S5, but i have many other devices (all Samsung) and i can tell that so far there is no problem with Xposed in any other ROM (other tnan Sasmsung), and also no problem with EdXposed or Lsposed (and those 2 may also work in Samsung ROMs - to be tested).
