Upgrade stock samsung firmware on rooted device

I'm running stock android 6.0.1 T710XXU2CPD9 on my T710. I'm rooted with latest SuperSU, removed some of the pre-installed system apps and installed TWRP.
I'm still on the security patch of april and want to upgrade to the latest security patch.
I know that I can download stock firmware from sammobile but my questions are:
1. How do I install it ?
2. Do I lose SuperSU / TWRP when I do ?
3. Is there a way to build flashable zips / debloat the firmware before installing?

You install the new firmware with Odin, then reflash TWRP, then SuperSU and encryption disabler. That's the most straightforward way I believe, unless you know how to extract the bits from the firmware and make a zip.... but that seems like just as much work or more, to me anyway.

Root Essential Phone with Magisk

I want to root my Essential Phone PH1 with magisk, but I only have a boot image for Nougat and not for Oreo. Does anybody know where I can get an image for Oreo 8.1.0?
Buildnumber: OPM1.180104.166
I would guess that the device forum is the place to find this kind of info...

PRA-LX1 Root with official Oreo 8.0.0?

Hey there,
Finally my Phone gave me a notification for downloading Oreo 8.0.0 and I was wondering if it works the easy way to root it?
My Phone is running on EMUI 5 Android 7.0 build B212 with TWRP and Magisk 16.0 Root.
I Thought about this way to get the Official Oreo Rom rooted :
- Get back to Stock Recovery
- Update to Oreo 8.0.0
- unlock bootloader again if it Relocks
- flash TWRP for Oreo
- flash Magisk via TWRP to gain root on Oreo
Do you guys think that this will work?
Thanks for any suggestion
Hi,
Yeah it should be fine with those steps.
And if you encounter any weird behavior, perform a factory reset using original Recovery.

Huawei P10 update Magisk

My device:
Name: Huawei P10
Model: VTR-L29
Build: 8.0.0.386(C432)
I have unlocked bootloader and root magisk in version 20.4. When I want to update magisk to higher version 21.x, then I lose root. I tried update in magisk manager app or flash update magisk in TWRP and neither of these methods work.
