The posts will be up as soon as the devs find a fix of VoLTE. You obtain them by joining the telegram group. People will assist you.

yes sir soon , just trying to fix volte.

I really appreciate our great developers for theirs contribution in development and their hard work

A stable(daily driver capable) Lineage OS and Arrow is available but with the only bug being no VoLTE. Anyone willing to try it out can get those builds here: https://t.me/onepowerupdates

Important ........... !!!

Dear friends ,
As well all know that kernel is important for the battery life and making the final version of froyo for our X1 .. so cant we all get together and join the development in kernel section instead of requesting all the new versions of ports .. this will prove as obstacle in path of making a complete working version ...
This is my personal thinking plz leave your opinion what you people think abt this ..
Devs are are also requested to share their words !!
Thank you .........
Happy .. Androiding )
ya i agree our kernel developers dont have a proper objectives and feedbacks to develop and our users dont have a proper place for latest kernel and builds information
I say we should make a united android development team and by that i mean neopeek.com and kovsky kernel development threads active developers to come toghether and divide the development among them selves and share their knowledge to release better ports.
we should have a proper thread or website to have a connection with the users too. we could restart the XPEROID.com again and have a proper threading and network between the users and developers so that even users have a proper place to report problems and get to know about the latest releases
I think thats the only way where we will get alot of users, there will be alot of testing and reportings and finaly we can manage to develop better ports
but before anything we need to know if developers,XPEROID.com owner and the rest of the users are willing to co-operate or not
So what do you suggest? There were many sites, even a bugtracker. But nothing was used.
i really agree what ... kerfooly said and really felt bad that 350 people read it but nobody replied with their idea ... Thought. Instead every one wants their device to run froyo
i would like to ask the moderator 4 this post to be sticky... If possible.... Bcz we would not succed witout planning...

Any XDA member developing ROMs for K3 note?

Hello fellow K3 note users and developers.
I got this phone a week back. I have already flashed around 9-10 ROMs on my device. I have to say that I'm not completely satisfied with any one of them. I had hoped for a huge development in XDA for this device, but unfortunately, we don't even have a Forum for our phone, as yet.
So, is anyone currently developing ROM/ROMs for this device? If yes, please let us know.
I am interested in ROM development, but I know almost nothing about ROM development, so If there is a project happening out there, I would be glad to learn from that, and be a part of it. At least as much as I can be.
Cheers!
P.S : I know that there are a lot of ROMs on that Spanish website and the Russian website, but I was hoping for more development on XDA.
And I'm currently on the Androium 5 ROM.
I would also be willing to contribute, even though it has been ages.

Hey, I really appreciate the interest. I will be messaging you in private ASAP. Hope I can learn a thing or two while giving the K3 Note community some good ROMs.
Cheers.

Let us thank all Custom Rom devs here at XDA for our device!

We all bought our devices for one reason or another but have came to XDA with the intention of making them better and some of us have done much more than try to fix tiny issues. I want to thank all who have and are developing Custom Roms for our device. If I have missed anyone who has contributed I compel you to write his name so I could add him along with a link if any! We should all know how hard it is to code. For some it's easy but for the most part it's hard work and people tend to forget that. I myself have started learning Python thanks to these people and a fairly recent show named Silicon Valley from cough* cough* 2014. So without further ado! Here are the people I want to thank and you could thank too if you haven't already in one way or another:
@haky 86 (including anyone who has helped) link to his ongoing process:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8l...rom-cyanogen-mod-12-0-huawei-p8-lite-t3433523
@Olrak (including all omnirom devs who helped) link to his ongoing process:

A thanks to @sokkoban for making ever so slight but very useful changes to our stock emui roms. Link to some of his progress (I had to add his blogspot with his work since most of his threads here are deleted)
http://huaweip8lite.blogspot.bg/
I thank @dkonect for sharing once again the recovery needed for these roms which is developed again by XePeleato link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/twrp-3-0-0-0-p8-lite-kirin-t3343320
That includes me thanking haky 86 for giving us CWM but I put TWRP's link up there because it is currently the most used one for our device with full fearures. Pls don't kill me >___>...
And again a thank you to @hackslash (thank you for mentioning him) for helping everyone mentioned above and developing for honor 4C. (If you want to I could add someone here •___•). link to his ongoing process (if I haven't missed any):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4c/development/cm13-huawei-honor-4c-based-hisilicon-t3367224
I'd like to then thank @codeworkx for even starting to and helping everyone here with his code on the Honor 6. Some of his progress here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-11-honor-6-t3019056
Also I'd like to thank the Mate 7 developer who I couldn't catch his name again for helping with the RIL issues. If he is the person I think he is then he should be @gabry3795 with his process right here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mat...pdate-ascend-mate-7-stock-derivative-t3241661
If that isn't him then I compel someone to help me again but even if that isn't him I'd still like to thank that person for making a petition regarding huawei's closed source information. Granted it isn't for our device but it's for the right cause.
As you also might've noticed, our developers could use help and as somebody who is helpless in coding I feel the need to at least ask around if somebody is capable to help if needed. I am not forcing anyone I just ask politely.
Thank you for reading this long post! Here is a potato person>> (>*__*)>

It looks pretty fine, the name of the MT7 developer is correct. About the help, the help We need comes from China and doesn't want to know anything about us. That doesn't mean that if you are not Huawei you can't help, I appreciate every contribution. In my opinion you should include as well to @hackslash even though he's working on the Honor 4C, his contributions have been really great and it's a pleasure to work with him as well as with all the people you listed above.

Thank you for mentioning him and for making me interested in Python. If you're wondering how. You once said you're a C++ dev and I know a little of a similar language named C# but in order to understand more of these two languages I needed Python. And so swish swosh >>
Actually, you should thank for RIL @codeworkx who was developing CM for Honor 6, @gabry3795 just took his code from H6 device tree.
You should include sokoban too for making deodex rom for this phone.
Thanks to all Devs for working on our device ! ^_^

Hello, sokkoban.
I've installed your B574 Deodexed and I have two suggestions for your future version of ROM:
1) Implement multi window directly inti ROM. It's a feature many people want and also people are having issues with your rom when using multi window.
2) Auto hide navigation bar. There is a button but it's very annoying to press every time you go into an app.
And I have one question:
3) Are you only going to make ROMs based on Chinese ROM or you will also make European ones?

@Prostokuche Thank you for this mention, I am proud to contribute to this project. After all we are all fighting the same battle And yes, I started the petition about a year ago forcing huawei to release the sources needed for a custom ROM (Mate7 scenario is worse than the p8 one )
I also want to point out that the HuaweiRIL.java module belongs to cyanogenmod project as stated in the license header. My edit on RIL project are signed by me and those to the HuaweiRIL.java was just to exclude features that are not supported by Mate7. :highfive:
I hope you can release a fully working ROM for your device! Good luck!

Hi there. On this thread, i would also like to contribute my grattitude and appreciations to the developers who are working for our device here. I'm a new member, so unable to mention anyone more in the list. But want to be a part of the greatfuls to them. thanks alot!

TWRP, did we get ditched?

I'm really annoyed at the fact we still haven't have got an official twrp build. There are beta builds of course but has lots of bugs. A lot of users (including me) would really want a stable build ( I mean who wouldn't?)
It can be hard but it's been months...
Please ........
TWRP only bring out stable versions if anyone in their development team has this device. I have asked them this question ages ago on a different device and that is the answer a was given.

@pandeyshreedhar: I've monitored you now for weeks asking the same question in nearly or even all available ROM development threads for the i9305, and you've never received any reply except by @rodman01. And here I tried to tell you that development for the i9305 halted and that nobody develops or intends to develop an Oreo based ROM for the i9305. I guess it's really time just to believe me.
The only alternative I recognise is that you teach yourself how to "bake" a ROM and to develop an Oreo based one for the i9305 by yourself. I'm very sorry not to provide better news.

OK SIR YOUR ARE GREAT DEVELOPERS.................................................
@rodman01 can you find any post that help to develop rom. I am try many time but not found. I also want learn education about how to create and develops roms, if it is possible and easy to develop roms otherwise not try any methods
oh mate, again quoted and mentioned, thanks for that and not pressed the thanks button. :good: (may I ask how old you are?).
btw: I am far away being a developer, as I stated more then one time.
Anyways: there are a lot of threads here on xda with general informations how to build a rom. Also "uncle google" is your friend. Then read, read, and again: read and prepare your pc with the needed sw and developer equipment. Once this is done, download sources, which will be around 10-15GB. With this finished you can start a build if you have the right device sources too. For i9305, I would suggest to start with default lineageos 14.1 repos, because as far as I remember those are working "right out of the box". Once this is done and build finished successfully and it is working on your device, you can start to port the i9100, i9300 and/or N7100 device, and kernel as well as vendor bloobs / changes to oreo for the i9305. Remember that modem, partition layout, kernel settings and a view other things differ from i9305 to the other mentioned devices.
Will say: that if you manage to get the developed changes from the above devices to the i9305, more work has to be done. I already posted months ago, that I successfully build an oreo version for our device, but sim detection and ril never worked with this builds. Also not after a lot of efforts from my side. But again I am no developer and I only tried things which I found for other devices.

My personal impression: Any ROM development for the i9305 came to a complete halt as it was already quite often called in the respective fora.
For me personally another indication: Even @benkxda closed his thread "Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE - ROMs, Kernels, MODs, Recoveries, Theme" on 2019-03-29.
