and thought its worth porting. I had some short tests and everything seems to be working.
Indeed, some things are still missing, thought. I will contribute my code and lets see how
this "open source MIUI" will develop! :)

· Folder sorting: alphabetically, reverse alphabetically, or by usage
· Icon scaling in app drawer and on homescreen

Knew this was beta so its more than fine ^^ XD

Dual boot working flawlessly......
only prob as said by infinite96 is with theme......
themes getting installed and also applied but icons and other things which come with theme are not changing.....

I'm considering "buying" this pro version, but I have a question, could you implement quick pin unlock in your next release? Thanks in advance.

There a way I can remove the ks8 logo from the status bar in v7? To me it's not attractive and I like a clean status bar. I'm using the kings rom mod apk from v2 since all the features like removing data flow and battery bar disabled are disabled for selection on v5 and up.
Anyways hope someone can help me here.

Kingrommods app is inside king rom, just select modded system ui and will be installed. No need to download it

I know but what I'm saying is I have the apk extracted from v2. The kingsrommod apk from v2 since its got settings I like. I deleted the one from v7 which I'm on now and I've swapped them out basically. My problem is I didn't save v7 and I really don't want to re-do my phone again all over...takes me like 30 mins to set up fully since I manually debloat and ad custom stuff etc.

Just extract it from the zip of v7, but why you use your from v2 that have less mods and is builded for old version? I can't understain

V7 has settings I like to use locked fo4 pro purchase only...that is why I use v2.
I went ahead and re-flashed the rom and I found the removal settings for the logo however it requires me to have the pro feature which I don't have and can't afford to get..Please find me a solution to this issue. I'm unsure why you would require pro status of the app for features that are free in all other versions of your rom prior to v5. I use:
Hide battery bar
Disable data flow from status bar
And another one I can't think of

Great rom otherwise and I like the speed of it. Reminds me of twist3d rom from the s5. Only drawback is the forced logo in the status bar.

Substratum won't open says root permission denied.. is it intended to work on Google pixel ? As we don't have root for O yet.

Open Overlay list in Substratum left panel, if they are orange, select them and enable in fab.

Hi Guys, for 5X users i have to add smaller pixel navbar
android beta popup you have to build the overlay for the app, its the first option, and about the round icons its enabled on FW, try to use pixel launcher with it
ill try to add systemui bg colors also and other tweaks for settings
And Yes root is needed for this thing to work

[Substratum] [Custom Navbar Overlay]

Hello everyone.
I created a simple overlay for Substratum, that themes the navbar with custom icons.
*You can download the navbars as standalone apk's, from my dropbox.
What's new in the next version:
- iOS dots style signal - DONE
- Pills style signal
- 3-5 new navbar overlays - DONE
- maybe, 20% changes, to move the signal in the left side of the screen (like on iOS)

Forgot to mention, that it doesn't work on Oreo. Since Oreo it's not the official stable firmware, I cannot offer support. I'm still on Nougat .
But when Oreo is available, I'll start working on it

anyway, do consider to upload non movie/marvel related navbars?
like google pixel's one
since yours purely focuses on changing the navbar only, i think you do have potential to get support from minimalist modders (like me) on using your substratum theme

I can make any navbar, but those where mostly from request I tooked from S8 thread I had. First I started with the SupergirlFlashArrow for me, and started to take requests.
If I have time, just send me the png's you want to use, or gimme an ideea, and I can make them
And for the Google Pixel, there are already to many, and I didn't saw the point on making one

actually.... you should make it (in my opinion)
since yours is only customizing the navbar, which is good for minimalist modders who only wants to change the navbar.. rather than having to install another substratum theme that has many other things inside
not everyone wants to bloat their mods. some just wants to mod the navbar, and your app offers that.. which is a good thing!
more choice for users is also a good thing.
anyway i feel that this is nice

I saw it, I don't really think I can do it, since Samsung overlays are just a white color over the image. And if the image has details like eyes, another image over it etc, it cannot be done. I need images that are more like a contour.

Tried this app on Oreo. Still not working. It gets applied, but doesnt stick after a reboot.

You can keep the Substratum app and the themes but need to uninstall/inactivate all overlays.

MIUI users have to reboot each time they download themes or do the same what Color OS does

Maybe changing the behaviour of selecting ALL themes when choosing a Keyboard Pack.
Also, isn't there a flag to colorize the NavBar?

Navbar flag got removed in Gboard 10.9 :/
i miss it so much. the only way now is to spoof phone to Google brand (there's test module on channel but not recommended on stock based roms)

Thank you so much for this, @RKBD The themes work great, but I'm having trouble installing sounds.
I select a sound and tap install, but nothing happens after that I've tried rebooting, checking storage permissions, clearing cache etc. but no luck. I'm on OnePlus 8T running OOS 11.0.8.13.

seems like sounds doesn't work on some OEM roms like miui/color os/oxygen os
i've tested rboard only on aosp roms so idk about rest

I appreciate the quick response! I've read that OxygenOS is closer to AOSP than most OEM roms, so perhaps it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to get working. I would be happy to help in any way I can!

It was closer to aosp only in Marshmallow days OOS 3.1.8 was the last "aosp" version, later it was just marketing trick imo.
We will try to add support for more but it will take some time. For now we only support AOSP based roms.

nope. the "ro." props cannot be added with adb without root. (tried multiple ones still no way for non root version)

all the themes of the App are already inside gboard.

if you're rooted with magisk then yes.
