succesful flashed version 355
THIS IS A VERY RISKY OPERATION AND I ALMOST LOST MY PHONE!!
it didnt go as planned.
i installed twrp and created a backup (not of system, is that nesecarry?) to get to when everything got messed up.
and boi, did it get messed up...
problem 1: when trying to install the rom with QFIL for the first time i got a sahara error and the phone lost its OS. i wanted to reinstall the twrp backup as i got really freaked out about losing my phone. somehow it did not get into edl or something and i failed the installation process and ended up with a broken phone with inly TWRP installed.
problem 2: when wanting to reinstall the backup in twrp i got some error saying the \system partition was not mounted. searching online gave me a solution to this problem, but reinstalling the backup still gave errors. on startup i got a "unsuccesful encryption" error, which yielded a useless backup. also after reformatting i got again the /system not mounted error, but now with a "partition is occupied or used" error. even the solutions online wouldnt work, so my online solution was to flash the original rom with QFIL.
solution:
trying to flash the rom resulted in a 1: sahara error, 2: a file not found error and 3: a phone not in EDL error.
when using the QFIL flasher provided by BadCluster i got the first two errors, and there was no quick way of resolving this problem. the post from @Nikorasu of another QFIL programm being used led to to the last error. this was good news as the file not found had been gone and now the only thing i had to do was putting the phone in EDL mode. MANY thanks to Nikorasu!!
trying to flash now resulted in an error where QFIL tried to put the phone in EDL mode, but failed to do so. a article online provided me with the following ADB commands to use. try to open to the bootloader/twrp recovery menu, and using the ADB cmd try to see if your device is connected (command "adb devices"). if so, type the command "adb reboot edl" and the phone will reboot in EDL mode. this was the only thing left to flash the stock rom back.
moral of the story!
1. only do this if you can miss the phone, this will save you a LOT of stress!
2. only do this if you can afford losing your phone!
3. in my case, the TWRP backup was pretty useles. only do this if you can afford to lose data!
4. THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE: NEVER GIVE UP! using the internet you can google every error and eventually get to a solution.
if you have any questions please ask

Well there is no way i can flash the original rom in this device. Is there anybody wanting to do it remotely? I just keep getting the error firehose fhloader: fail the system can not find the specified file

Unlock Bootloader, Even without code!

--- Please don't quote this entire post ---
I have, with the help of two people who's XDA I don't know, just unlocked an Honor 9 Lite without an unlock code! The method follows:
Initial revision
0. Prepare adb and fastboot. On windows, change all
Code:
fastboot
commands to
Code:
.\fastboot
and similarly for
Code:
adb
(skip to step 2 if you have the June 2018 patch or earlier)
1a. Downgrade firmware to 8.0.0.xxx (June patch) via androidhost.ru - search for your device, get a C432 version.
1b. Downgrade, instructions are in the 'ReleaseDoc' folder. Use the forced install method
(do not reboot the phone until step 3a is complete)
2a. Enter
Code:
fastboot
2b. Enter powershell or terminal and type:
Code:
fastboot oem hwdog certify begin;fastboot oem get-product-model
2c. Send the result to @huaweihax telegram group or in this thread (telegram will have faster response times)
2d. We will send you your slock when we gets a chance. Please be patient, we have real lives. Download it on the same pc as you have fastboot on.
2e. Copy the slock to your working directory
2f. Type in your shell:
Code:
fastboot flash slock <slock_filename>
(Download twrp on the pc that has fastboot, copy to working directory)
3a.
Code:
fastboot flash erecovery_ramdisk <twrp filename>
3b. Read step 3c and 3d
3c.
Code:
fastboot reboot
3d. Hold volume up AFTER the phone vibrates
3e. Twrp should boot up. If not, reboot it and try 3d again
(Each reboot until step 4 is complete, you will restart step 4)
4a. Connect usb
4b.
Code:
adb shell dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/nvme of=/tmp/nvme
4c.
Code:
adb pull /tmp/nvme
You may now reboot the device, if you want.
5a. Open the nvme file in a hex editor. Find 'FBLOCK' in the file. There should be '8' shortly before the fblock. Move down exactly one line from '8' and you will see 01. Change that to 00 and repeat for all instances of fblock in the file. Save the file.
5c.
Code:
adb push nvme /tmp/nvme
5d.
Code:
adb shell dd if=/tmp/nvme of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/nvme
6. Reboot!
CONGRATS! YOUR DEVICE IS NOW UNLOCKED!

5b. Search the file for FBLOCK. For each instance, you should see the character 8 shortly before. Go down exactly one line from the 8. Select the .. You should see 01 become highlighted in the hex area. Change the 01 to 00 and repeat 6 more times (7 in total). Save the file as nvmepatched

6. Reboot!
CONGRATS! YOUR DEVICE IS NOW UNLOCKED!

Files you might find useful:
nvme.zip: a twrp flashable zip that automates step 5 of the instructions. I have tested it and it works fine for me. If TWRP crashes and restarts, that's fine, but idk why it happens. If it happens to you, please send /tmp/recovery.log to me in pm or here, or in telegram
autoroot.zip: a zip file containing a python script and related files to automatically unlock Huawei's. To use it, put a twrp file called 'twrp-kirin.img' in the 'files' subfolder. I cannot upload that file due to XDA file size restrictions.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=285583: thanks to @mrmazak, this is a windows batch tool version of autoroot.zip
In the attached photos you will see correct and incorrect converted "slock files"
When you follow the guide from above. Between 2-C and 2-D.
If the you get just a long string of letters and numbers (512 characters to be exact). That string of numbers it that state is "text" it needs to be "HEX". , to do this there are command line tools to do it. But it can be done in a user friendly way in a hex editor program. But this needs to done as hex and not text. The photos show both examples.
In the correct edited photo the long string is written to the left side (the hex area)
In the incorrect edited photo the long string is written to the right side (the text area).
SLOCK CONVERSION
FOR command line use
Copy the long string of text as regular txt file NO EXTRA SPACES -- for this example name it slock.txt
Command line code for linux: Needs "XDD" It should already be installed on most systems.(inside VIM)
Code:
cat slock.txt | xxd -r -p > binary-slock.bin
Command line code for Windows: Needs "XDD.exe" It canbe found inside VIM http://www.vim.org/
Code:
type slock.txt | xxd.exe -r -p > binary-slock.bin
NVME EDITS
Linux terminal
Code:
sed 's/\x46 \x42 \x4C \x4F \x43 \x4B \x00 \x00 \x01 \x00 \x00 \x00 \x01/\x46 \x42 \x4C \x4F \x43 \x4B \x00 \x00 \x01 \x00 \x00 \x00 \x00/g' nvme > temp
Windows cmd version needs GNU-SED
OR
reg-expression-tool LIKE "jrepl.bat" (one of my favorite little tools)
Code:
files\JREPL.BAT "\x46\x42\x4C\x4F\x43\x4B\x00\x00\x01\x00\x00\x00\x01" "\x46\x42\x4C\x4F\x43\x4B\x00\x00\x01\x00\x00\x00\x00" /m /x /f modified-nvme /o -
Scripted method
Windows batch file tool
Use newest version in the folder. And allow tool to update, when first ran.

Are you saying just the sending of data will be rolled into an app, or the whole thing will be self contained in an app?

Just the second stage of sending data, olddroid is 'thinking' about making them both automated, but right now, neither is.

Again, try another firmware like c432 or c00, but it all depends on whether the dload works or not. If it doesn't install, you'll have to find one that does. If it installs you'll be ok. Just flash the correct model firmware after completing the exploit

Recently by accident I downgraded the operating system on my Moto G7 Plus device (XT1965-3) and hard bricked my phone. :crying:
It took me some days on checking different threads to come to a solution. I managed to create a blankflash file that finally recovered my bootloader so that I could get into fastboot mode and flash the latest OS.
For those who are faced with the same problem, I'd like to share my solution and hope it works for you as well.
When the phone is hard bricked, it do not boot, it stays in black screen. The good thing though is that by default it goes into Qualcomms EDL (Emergency DownLoad) mode.
When connecting your phone to the PC (e.g. Windows 10) you should see in the device manager under COM the following device:
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM..)
If this do not show up, unplug the phone, press Power + VolumeDown for about 30 seconds and connect the device again.
If it still not works, you might search for the correct drivers.
Assuming you see the device as mentioned above, then you can do the blankflash.
Open a cmd window (ideally with Administrator rights)
Unzip the blankflash.zip View attachment blankflash.zip
Run blank-flash.bat
This should download the bootloader and your phone should get back to live (in fastboot mode)
After you have fixed the bootloader you can flash the latest OS with fastboot mode.
Download the latest version from: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmwar...ubsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Unzip the ROM and add the following files to the same directory View attachment FastBootAddOnFiles.zip
Connect the phone in fastboot mode
Run flashfile.bat from a cmd window
Now the ROM is flashed to the phone
Hope this helps recovering your phone!
Does it work for the power of Moto g7?
Anyway this works on unlocked g7? I need a blank flash or something to revive my hard bricked device
is it possible to restore previously unlocked phone to out-of-the-box software and behaviour? specifically I would like to get rid of the bootloader warning and verity disabled message at boot. I wouldn't mind locking again
"Waiting for device"
Hi WinnieH.
First off, i would like to thank you for explaining the necessity of the blankflash to recover the bootloader.
But when i try the steps you suggested, nothing happens. I get stuck in the message "Waiting for device..."
I noticed that the main command in the bat file is just: ".\qboot.exe blank-flash %*".
Wouldn't be necessary a reference to the singleimage.bin file in this command? Or maybe is a file missing in the zip.
I appreciate some suggestion.
Thanks,
Marcos

Sorry for late response.
if the message "Waiting for device ..." comes, then your phone is not recognized correctly. Your device when bricked should connect in Emergency Download (EDL) mode. You could see this when you go to the Windows Device Manager. Under the COM devices your phone should show up with the Qualcomm. If not, disconnect the phone for a minute and try it again.
If you have the driver not installed it, the installation video might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezQJlBKN9hk
PS: The blank-flash.bat is fine. It will automatically use the singleimage.bin file
Hope you get your way
Thank you WinnieH for the response. (that was not late at all!).
I will try to install the driver; I was unable to connect in Emergency Download Mode.

Well, first of all thanks to WinnieH for this useful thread. It worked fine for my phone.
@mrufino Maybe you have to install the moto drivers. Or try a different pc. The phone was not detected on my first pc, on my other pc it was detected immediately.

Hello,
I did the image by myself. I used a older image of a G6 device and replace a number of elements in the image from the stockrom. With "star" you can delete and add files to the "singleimage.bin" archive. It took me some trials. Check on the latest STOCK ROM "XT1965-3_LAKE_RETEU_9.0_PPWS29.98-111-3_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml" from https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/lake/official/RETEU/ and you should find the most important files (such as partition table: gpt.bin).
Hope it works for you
Regards
Winnie

Thanks for the answer. Trying to use "Star" I noticed that the files that are inside singleimage.bin are actually files that are inside bootloader.img right? How do I extract the bootloader.img file to use his files? I use linux but I have windows too.

thanks for listening. When I list the bootloader.iso file it returns me the following error: "Failed: simg_open () -> IO error". already extract the rom stock again, already downloaded it from scratch and the result is the same. When I extract the bootloader.iso file the same error occurs. what could it be? Can you help me extract these files? I am attaching the bootloader file of moto g7 river, if you can help me I will be immensely grateful.

Hello,
you are right. I should have written down how I created the singleimage.bin file. I replaced the following files in the singleimage.bin from the river stock rom version: XT1962-6_RIVER_RETEU_PPOS29.114-134-2_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml (loaded from: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/river/official/RETEU/)
gpt.bin
And changed the index.xml to the right CPU 632
You might to play around with the board id if it do not work (board id="204"). I hope the programmer file is the same for the G7 (processor type is slightly different: Snapdragon 632 instead of 636).
Give it a try with attached blankflashRiver.zip

Thanks for the help. the Programmer file isn't the same. After to work arround and beat my head over and over on the wall, I've took my phone to an authorized Motorola. For my surprise, as my phone shows oem_lock, they accepted on warranty. LOL. Now it's on repair and I'll catch tomorrow or another. Thanks for all. Thumbs up!

Greetings Winnieh !, thanks for all the time and good information that you post,
I have doubts I would appreciate some advice, I have a motorola g7 power (ocean) tha's in hardbrick mode, I have already installed the correct qualcom drivers, the com port recognizes my device, but I cannot get the file blankflash.bat to load the phone to the moment executing it gives me an error:
Motorola qboot utility version 3.86
[ -0.000] Opening device: \\.\COM3
[ 0.003] Detecting device
[ 2.218] ReadFile() failed, GetLastError()=0
[ 11.019] ERROR: sahara_greet_device()->device_open()->error opening device
[ 11.019] Check qboot_log.txt for more details
[ 11.019] Total time: 11.019s
FAILED: qb_flash_singleimage()->sahara_greet_device()->device_open()->error open
ing device
I realize that the blankflash.bat for the motog7 + version (river)
based on the blankflash file that you attached
I extracted the bootloader.img files from the stockrom of the motog7 power (ocean) XT1955-2 XT1955-2_OCEAN_AMX_9.0_PPO29.80-79_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml , so also delete and add all the files to the singleimpt.bin file - the gpt.bin file from stock rom copy and replace the one I saw in singleimage.bin
what you notice that index.xml refers to as "cpu.name: msm8953"
it also appears the same in the gpt.bin file, finally with the new singleimage.bin file compiled try to run the blankflash.bat again
unsuccessfully....
Could you tell me what are the mistakes that I can't solve?
i'm not a programmer just a bad lucky pal. if by chance have you a blankflash.bat for ocean version?, i'll really appreciate
Thank you! for your time
Hi WinnieH, I have a similar problem with a Moto G7 Power, can you tell me how I can create a blankflash for my specific model?

[GUIDE] How to unlock bootloader in the Moto E6 Plus + Install TWRP, with Windows and Linux

Hello guys, in this guide I will tell you how to unlock the bootloader of the Moto E6 Plus.
READ THE FULL GUIDE TO AVOID ERRORS IN THE PROCESS SINCE THIS UNLOCKING METHOD IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MOTOROLA PHONE.
DISCLAIMER:
Code:
/*
*
* Your warranty is now void.
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this system image before flashing it!
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device,
* I will laugh at you.
*
*/
What we will do first is a downgrade to version 76 of firmware since the new versions it's not allowed unlock bootloader, for this we will use SP Flash Tool v5.1916 (since the most current version does not give an error) and later we will flash some files for complete the unlock bootloader besides that we will install TWRP to install some GSI since the stock system it cannot be used.
This process is for 32/2 and 64/4 variant.
Links of download at the end of the post.
WARNING: THIS PROCESS ERASES ALL USER DATA AND VOIDS THE WARRANTY IN ADDITION THAT THE SYSTEM STOCK CANNOT BE USED.
Spoiler: PROCESS OF THE UNLOCK WITH WINDOWS
Prerequisites:
A computer with Windows (bruh)
ADB and Fastboot installed
Have installed the device drivers to be detected in fastboot mode.
Have downloaded the lk, vbmeta and recovery files.
Have downloader SP Flashtool and the ROM to downgrade.
READ THE FULL GUIDE TO AVOID ERRORS IN THE PROCESS SINCE THIS UNLOCKING METHOD IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MOTOROLA PHONE.
Once the necessary files have been downloaded the process is the following"
Unpack the SP Flash Tool and open "flash_tool.exe" file.
Once opened the app they will have to press up to the right the section "Options" and select "Option", when i open them they have to uncheck the second option.
Then close the window and in the "Download-Agent" press in "Choose" and search inside the unzipped zip folder a file named "DA_SWSEC_1848_PTA29.76.bin" or similary and select it. Then in "Scatter-loading File" press in "Choose" and just like before navigate to the same rute and select the file "MT6765_Android_scatter" and click on "Ok", and in "Authentication File" some select "Choose" and select "auth_sv5.auth" file and click in "Ok".
Now remove the battery of the phone and in Flash Tool press on "Donwload" and connect the phone without battery and start to flash.
Once the flashing finishes place the battery again and boot it in FASTBOOT (not system), then in terminal put the next command to unlock the bootloader:
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock_critical
And press Volume + in the phone to unlock the bootlaoder and DO NOT reboot still
Spoiler: If you logged into the system directly
In case of having started in the system without installing the files, you will have to start in the recovery mode and do a factory format.
After that you can flash the files from fastboot.
Now flash the lk, vbmeta and twrp files with the next commands:
Code:
fastboot flash lk lk.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Now restart in recovery and go to Wipe > System > Advanced options > Resize.
Without this it would appear that there is 8GB of memory instead of 32/64.Now it only remains to flash the GSI.

Spoiler: PROCESS OF THE UNLOCK WITH LINUX
Prerequisites:
A computer with Linux (bruh)
ADB and Fastboot installed
Have downloaded the lk, vbmeta and recovery files.
Have downloader SP Flashtool and the ROM to downgrade.
READ THE FULL GUIDE TO AVOID ERRORS IN THE PROCESS SINCE THIS UNLOCKING METHOD IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MOTOROLA PHONE.
Once the necessary files have been downloaded the process is the following
Unpack the SP Flash Tool, and mark as to executable "flash_tool" file and open as superuser, if you don't know the commands are the following:
Code:
sudo chmod +x flash_tool
sudo ./flash_tool
Now in the "Download-Agent" press in "Choose" and search inside the unzipped zip folder a file named "DA_SWSEC_1848_PTA29.76.bin" or similary and select it.
Code:
sudo fastboot flashing unlock_critical
And press Volume + in the phone to unlock bootloader and DO NOT reboot still.
Spoiler: If you logged into the system directly

After that you can flash the files from fastboot.
Now flash the lk, vbmeta and twrp files with the next commands:
Code:
sudo fastboot flash lk lk.img
sudo fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
sudo fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Now restart in recovery and go to Wipe > System > Advanced options > Resize.
Without this it would appear that there is 8GB of memory instead of 32/64.Now it only remains to flash the GSI.
If you don't know which GSI to try first, I recommend one from Phhusson, Ermitain or Andy.
NOTE: The system will be encrypted, and in this build of TWRP the encryption is not support so the files of internal storage will appear with numbers and letters random, if you want to remove the encryption flash the dm-verity.
NOTE 2: After unlocking the bootloader you can update the firmware to the latest version, but you will have to flash the lk and vbmeta files again (besides of recovery).
NOTE 3: The GSI architectures for each variant are: A64 AB for 32/2 and ARM64 AB for 64/4.
NOTE 4: If you are going to flash a GSI with GApps you will first have to flash a vanilla Phhusson GSI and start in it, after that you have to flash the GSI with GApps WITHOUT wipes and you can use it normally

If you don't know which try first with the GSI of Phhusson or Lineage of Andy
Spoiler: PROCESS OF THE UNLOCK IN LINUX
Once the necessary files have been downloaded the process is the following
Unpack the SP Flash Tool, and mark as to executable "flash_tool" file and open as superuser, if you don't know the commands are the following:
Code:
sudo chmod +x flash_tool
sudo ./flash_tool
Now in the "Download-Agent" press in "Choose" and search inside the unzipped zip folder a file named "DA_SWSEC_1848_PTA29.76.bin" or similary and select it.
Code:
sudo fastboot flashing unlock_critical
And press Volume + in the phone to unlock bootloader and DO NOT reboot still
Now flash the lk, vbmeta and twrp files with the next commands:
Code:
sudo fastboot flash lk lk.img
sudo fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
sudo fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Now reboot to recovery and flash some GSI.
if you don't know which try first with the GSI of Phhusson or Lineage of Andy
NOTE: The system will be encrypted, if you want to remove the encryption flash the dm-verity.
NOTE 2: After unlocking the bootloader you can update the firmware to the latest version, but you will have to flash the lk and vbmeta files again (besides of recovery).

Dont get it, there is way too many fake websites with USB drivers for ADB and fastboot and none of them are working, ive tried your adb driver aswell but once I get into fastboot windows just says: Android device with a 28 error code which means that there is no driver installed, could you give me the link?
EDIT: adb only works when the device has booted.

mmmm, look first trying with lmsa to have as it tells you to do the firmware re-installation, then do the same steps you did in the LMSA but in the flashtool
If you want to downgrade you have to do it with the firmware of the e6s because if you do it with the e6 plus your phone will have birck.

[UPDATING UPGRADE METHOD] [WORK IN PROGRESS] UPGRADE TO PIE / HARMONY 2.0 / W09 - W19 - L09

Spoiler: UPDATING UPGRADE METHOD
Hello to everyone!
Following this guide, you'll be able to rebrand your T5 to Chinese version (W09-C00 or AL00-C00), so you can upgrade to EMUI 9.1/HARMONY 2.0
(IF YOU HAVE THE HONOR PAD 5 AND YOU WANT TO UPDATE, TALK ME)
I have a T5, W19 / 3gb ram / 32 internal.
It worked for me, should work for you too, but I'm not responsible if something goes wrong (well...maybe a little).
PROCESS:
1- You need to UNLOCK the BOOTLOADER with POTATONV and you MUST CHECK "Disable FBLOCK" or you'll have problems flashing the IMGs.
(fastboot oem lock-state info - to check if FBLOCK is unlocked)

Hmm, tried to do this but fastboot flash oeminfo oeminfoags2al00c00.img failed. No big deal I did it through TWRP.
Next fastboot flash system system.img but also failed
Sending sparse 'system' 1/6 (412324 KB) OKAY [ 12.720s]
Writing 'system' FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Bootloader shows PHONE Unlocked and FRP Unlocked both in red.
What am I missing?
@Sleeepy2 Hello, I'm talking with a guy that has the same problem, can't flash oeminfo and system with fastboot.
Same as your tabket, FPR and bootloader unlocked.
I was thinking that maybe in one of the latest huawei updates, they (huawei) changed something (security patches), because I never had that problems and I haven't updated to the latest security patch that huawei released...
You can try sending the firmware with EMUI Flasher https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=14655340768118451775
But should download the firmware from this page https://professorjtj.github.io/ look for
AGS2-AL00 - C00AGS2-AL00 8.0.0.215(C00)
@sfoot13 Can't use the EMUI flash yet, as I tried flashing system through TWRP and it failed now can't boot. lol
I've found the firmware on that page but I don't know how to down load it. Clicking the 3 dot menu opens the Downlad ROM window but it doesn't work, says to use the HISuite.Proxy. If I run that and click the link, it shows 3 zips but clicking on any of them doesn't download.
Clicking the Add Rom shows up in HISuite.Proxy but I still don't see a way to download it.
I think I figured out how I am supposed to use the ROM but it doesn't work. Run the Proxy, go to website and click add and it shows up in the proxy. Then open HiSuite connect tablet and click Update. It shows a new version is available however clicking update it instantly goes to Failed to update.
Well if I read the op closer it actually has a link explaining how to use the proxy.
I have flashed the oem file through TWRP, used the proxy to download the 8.0.0.215 rom but wile HiSuite is "installing" Proxy said it's probably not going to work. When the tablet reboots to install it says software update failed
@Sleeepy2 if you flashed the oeminfo, you can flash the system with Emui Flasher, even if you're using linage os or any gsi, because you just need to download the oreo firmware, copy it to internal memory, open emui flasher and select the firmware zip.
To download the firmware directly from the page, you need to click in the box with the three dots ... and you'll see the option to download (always with hisuite proxy open)
ugh, well I think I pooched it now.
I started over and got linage os flashed and rooted. EMUI Flasher couldn't find any files in any folder to flash.
Rebooted back into TWRP and flashed the oeminfo now it only boots into eRecovery or stock recovery, no sign of TWRP.
Booted back into fastboot to try and just flash TWRP again.
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP_3.5.2-prague_DarkJoker360_20210508.img
Sending 'recovery_ramdisk' (14894 KB) OKAY [ 0.398s]
Writing 'recovery_ramdisk' FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed')
fastboot: error: Command failed
eRecovery wont download and install stock anymore. I am going to give up for today.
Ugh, well I guess my tablet is done. Fastboot wont flash recovery and eRecovery
Getting package info failed"
If any one has any suggestions, that would be great.
I just did the oem unlock again from fastboot even though it said it was unlocked. After I did that it automatically rebooted into TWRP and I was able to flash my oeminfo back and it was good to go again.
I've gone through all the the steps successfully, however when I check for updates I don't see any?
What could be wrong?

Successfully? Really? Great.
Well, if you installed oeminfo and the IMGs and you formatted data and it booted, go to settings and tell me the version it says.
Not working for me. flashing oeminfo failed using fastboot. Same problem than Sleeepy2
Any clear explanation will be appreciated. I'm not a specialist.
In fact, I'm a little bit a specialist because I've unlocked bootloader and FRP. I've also installed LineOS 18.1
@bedelaitre I'll rewrite it, maybe it will work for everyone.

How To Guide [UPDATED] [REALME 8i/NARZO 50] How to get fastboot access and root your device easily.

Hello everyone! In this guide, I Sidharth will tell you how to flash recovery, root and access bootloader on the Realme 8i and Narzo 50, you probably have seen another guide by Pritish, it's not wrong but it became kind of outdated .
So lets begin,
Requirements:
PC (with windows or linux installed)
Platform tools installed
First unlock the bootloader by following this guide: http://telegra.ph/HOW-TO-UNLOCK-BOOTLOADER-REALME-8INARZO-50-05-08
Or this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-flash-twrp-and-root-rmx3151-rmx3286.4369399/ (dont worry about the boot imgs, just unlock the bootloader normally and boot the phone, don't go on the second step)
So after doing that, you should have platform tools and adb drivers installed, I am not going to tell you how to do that exactly but you should find tons of tutorials on the internet for both linux and windows. (I am going to be using Linux in this case but everything is the same for both windows and linux in this case)
Download this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13J2zlrUz84ZDSPERdosgNO6xdhwah4hl/view?usp=sharing
and paste it in your mtkclient folder (you should have that by now if you already unlocked the bootloader.)
{

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Open the terminal and then type: python mtk w lk lk.bin
Now, power off your phone, hold both volume buttons and until it is done
Check if the phone boots into fastboot by holding volume down and power.
If it shows something like this then congrats, you have fastboot access now.
Flashing recovery is very easy now.
Download TWRP image from the TWRP website: https://twrp.me/realme/realme8i.html
Just keep it in the platform tools folder for now.
Boot into your phone, and download the magisk apk from here: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases
After downloading it, download ZArchiver from the Play Store and replace .apk with .zip and save it.
Now power off the phone and boot into fastboot/bootloader.
Open the terminal inside platform tools and:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot recovery
You will be in your custom recovery now .
Now goto install, and select your magisk zip, and flash it normally.
After that is done, reboot to system and rename the magisk zip to apk again and install the apk.
Boom you have also rooted your device .
Thanks to Pritish for bootloader unlock guide and patched lk
also guys please let me know if you have any problems
here is how you can setup mtkclient on linux:
git clone https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
cd mtkclient
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
then you should have a mtkclient folder where u can execute the commands
bootloop on logo no way to fix hard to find how i can unbrick

Just like bootloader unlock method, in MTK Tools, give this command:
#
python mtk e metadata,userdata,md_udc
#
(Without #)
Then connect your phone in BROM mode, then restart. it will be fine

Is there a way to do this on a Mac? I have Realme 8i RMX3151 but do not have access to a Windows computer. Thank you.
I tried the Deep Testing App and it gives the following error "Failed to submit application. This phone model does not support deep testing."

u can always flash your stock LK again if it somehow made a problem so here
paste it in mtkclient and then
python mtk w lk lk.img
check if it fixes it!

Download this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13J2zlrUz84ZDSPERdosgNO6xdhwah4hl/view?usp=sharing
and paste it in your mtkclient folder (you should have that by now if you already unlocked the bootloader.)View attachment 5682939
Open the terminal and then type: python mtk w lk lk.bin
View attachment 5682941
Now, power off your phone, hold both volume buttons and until it is done
View attachment 5682943
Check if the phone boots into fastboot by holding volume down and power.
If it shows something like this then congrats, you have fastboot access now.View attachment 5682945
