I managed to unlock my T-Mobile E5 Play bootloader. What can I now do?
alright yea you know what screw that Cody guy he fked my phone and after 2 hours of messing around all I had to do was flash Lineage and then flash the Verity kernel over it.

Is root available for the E5 Plus sub-model for T-Mobile or MetroPCS? I believe it is XT1924-7 Hannah, but Motorola made like a dozen variants of this device and I can't find a clear answer. Many of the guides I found are for other sub-models, and I don't want to risk bricking the phone.
If there is a guide or method, can someone point me to it?

I would like to know the same as I just got the Metro variant.
unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to because I ran my metro variant on the bootloader website for Motorola and it tells me that my device is not eligible for unlock even though my option is checked to unlock

I got mine to work and unlocked the bootloader
How I rooted my MetroPCS Moto e5 plus
I followed the unlock bootloader thread, then used the instructions at forum thread named:
Recovery TWRP Root TWRP and Root for Moto E5 Play (James) by CodyF86
There is a plus version download there for fstab.ecom for decryption.
FYI: if phone boot says bad key, that means bootloader is unlocked. Once rooted mine says N/A
Haven't tested unlimited tethering yet.
Phone is ROOTED and DECRYPTED! Enjoy!

Just rerain it again on Moto unlock and it went through
Hello, I have a problem with my bike e4 plus, a few months ago unlock the bootloader and proceeded to install twrp and root, install a custom rom and it worked well for a while, it turns out that a few days ago I wanted the stock again so I proceeded to download it and install it with flash tool and install it perfectly, but now that I want to unblock the bootloader I get an error, I do not know what I'm doing wrong, I would appreciate your help thanks.
You're bootloader is still unlocked, that's why. It's perfectly fine.
I have the Moto G6 Play boost mobile variant and i was wanting to relock the bootloader. I'm aware that it still voids the warranty but I'd like to lock it anyways. I tried going by a guide for the moto g6 but it didn't work; I may have done it wrong. Can someone explain how I can do this or refer me to a page where it's explained? Thanks

You're probably not going to be able to relock the bootloader. A few people have said they got it to work most saying that it does not work with this device.
I am hoping it's possible to unlock the boot loader and flash the stock retail firmware on the MetroPCS Moto E5 Plus. I just got mine a couple of days ago, but still patiently waiting for the app unlock I ordered for it to be completed so I can unlock it to use for Cricket Wireless. So far like the phone , but some of the metropcs apps can't be disabled and it's annoying the crap out of me.

i have a moto e5 play verizon wireless and cannot use another carrier because it is locked, i would like to know if i flash a new stock rom it will be unlocked??

If u go to twigby to see if can b used on there net work they can usually use almost any phone, I took my phone from boost there no problem. I was told from boost that it was locked to them and can't go to any other carrier they lied give twigby a shot

Find a way to unlock it online via third party. i am sure this is an unlockable phone.
I flashed LOS 17.1 and inserted my carrier sim, but shows sim applications but there is no network signal, could not make a call? Any updates/ helps, please.
