are the roms for the international single sim version compatible with the dual sim version or do they have to be ported for the dual-sim version?

i know from the P8 and some other phones, that the Dual Sim is just in Software locked from the operator!
So now the question, how about the P9P?
I could get the P9P from tmobile, but i need a Dual Sim Phone (now i have the OP3) cause of business!
Anyone already have some information?

The N950F is not a dual SIM device. You would need to get a N950FD to a Dual SIM device.

I bought the device and discovered that the RMX2075 version doesnt support dual SIM. Is it possible to replace the SIM try and use 2 SIM cards or I have to modify the ROM. If the Latter then where can I find a ROM that will support dual SIM? What is the procedure to replace the ROM?
