Does Mi Max 2 have touch issues? - Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Questions & Answers

as with some other xiaomi phones they tend to have touch issues ranging from over sensitivity ,ghost touch or simple inaccurate touch.
I have experienced such cases with Redmi 3 and Redmi 2(slightly). The more later ones are Redmi Note 5 AI and the Mi A1.
These issues does not rise anything bad unless you are playing fast paced multitouch games like Mobile Legends and PUBGM.
I'm currently on Mi Max 1 the touch seems to be okay but the phone really heats up(causes lag) even in gaming

Mi 5 pro vs redmi note 3

Hey everyone, i had recently bought a S7 edge and now unfortunately the screen is shattered. Being a new phone the screen is bloody expensive and costing around 1100 aed (UAE dirham). So I am thinking of replacing it once the device is a little older. In the mean time I want a spare phone. Confused between Mi 5 (1400 aed) vs Redmi Note 3 (650 aed).
My usage is very basic - social networking (fb and whatsapp), movie streaming (cinema box/show box/kodi), casting youtube etc on my smart tv and spotify. I play no games (android games are full of adware).
So guys do you think i should shell double the money for a Mi 5 pro? I just expect the phone to run smoothly and not lag much.
Why am I thinking about Xiaomi?
Basically for Miui. it resembles a lot like a jailbroken iPhone and that's the major attraction (themes and stuff).
IMO . I think Redmi Note 3 Pro enough . If you just using social networking and movie streaming . Since Redmi Note 3 Pro have big screen than Mi 5 .
Redmi Note 3 indeed, Mi 5 is for those who games heavily or needs superb camera.
Maybe the new Redmi Pro is an option.

Exchange Mi Max with Redmi 4x

Dear users,
Can you suggest me that should I exchange Mi Max 32 gb with Redmi 4x 64 gb?
I have both the mi max 2 and a redmi 4x. Personally I like the mi max 2 better, because of the big screen and the better specifications. If you use one after the other you do feel a slight difference in how smooth it really is, but only after directly using one after the other. Altough I like the max more, it feels like you have a whole computer in your hands, I am selling due to it's size. It doesn't fit in all my pockets which gets annoying and I don't use my phone for very much things so I tend to stay at the cheaper side of things.
If you have more questions I'd be happy to answer them.
Mi Max is almost 2 years old device now but it does has SD 650 it is good processor with huge battery.
32GB internal storage is not sufficient considering the huge screen temps to install heavy games, apps and to have FHD content.
if you are getting Mi max 32 GB for dirt cheap price then go for it.
My recommendation is to buy newer xiaomi device because youll get new powerful yet power efficient processor and big screen device.
you should look for exchange Redmi 4X with either of with Mi Max 3, Redmi note 5(SD 636 dual pixel pdfa variant), Mi 6X.
if you could give more details at what price and what are your device choices then it would be easy to recommend device.

Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro or xiaomi mi cc9 (9 lite)

Hello all !
I need some help!
I'm in need of a new phone and came to the conclusion I wanted a Xiaomi. After watching some video's I came to the conclusion I wanted the Mi CC9 (Mi 9 Lite) so I've just ordered the 64gb variant.
After doing some further research I've discovered I could've got a Redmi Note 8 Pro for only £8 more.
Do you think I should cancel my order and get the Note 8 Pro? The dust and splash resistant is something I could really do with as I hate the fear of potential water damage from rain.
Also even though the Note 8 Pro features a 4500 maH battery and the Mi 9 Lite only has a 4030 maH battery which do you think will last longer? Considering it has a bigger screen and a more demanding processor do you think that the 9 Lite battery will still be better?
Note 8 pro. CC9 doesn't have support for google cameras ( buffer 3 )
The note 8 pro has got a Mediathek processor which have (at least it's predecessors) been known for overheating and poor efficiency (mostly noticable when used very heavily). Some tests say the same but it's up to you if you believe them. Considering the screen size and amoled technology as well as the more efficient processor I'd actually think that the cc9 (mi 9 lite) has better battery life.
I've actually ordered the mi 9 lite which will arrive in around 2-3 weeks. Then I'll be able to give further information. The reason I've gotten the mi 9 lite instead of the 8 pro are:
1. Screen size (didn't want such a big screen)
2. Amoled display
3. In display fingerprint sensor
4. Snapdragon processor
5. Battery life on both phones will definitely get me through the day so that wasn't really anything I've kept in mind whilst deciding
Hope this helps
Good question!
I'm not really knowledgeable yet, but I have read somewhere that the Mediatek processor ( Note 8 pro ) doesn't have much support for custom Roms.
Once the development of LineageOS for the Mi 9 lite has started seriously, I would love to get one.
Or it is best to wait for a bit......

Touch sample rate ?

Anyone know the touch sample rate of the mi 9t pro?
I am considering buying it over the one plus 7t. I know the sample rate for 7t is 140 when in game.
180Hz.
120hz normal
180hz in game. This one is fake
Just like Oneplus 135hz normal
180hz with touch boost
I just received both of these phones and jm98 is right, 120hz is mi 9t pro , one plus is 135 even in game.
But what is this touch boost you speak off ?
Ok I just figured it out , I have to turn on game boost to get the 180hz on mi 9 , but on OnePlus 7t there is no option to boost touch only graphics.
The touch response is boosted to 180hz in k20 pro

Question Some problems

My Xiaomi 12 Pro is too hot in games like Asphalt 9,and it is not smooth. The frame is too hot to touch.
