Asus say Pie will be arrived in February 2019, but until now it doesn't appear. M2 also doesn't received yet, i think this is gonna be long time.
Changing the phone depends on this update. There are no explanations yet. I'm looking forward to it.

Releasing pie beta update at the end of feb,if asus keep this then we will recieve the stable pie update at the end of april end or in may not before that ,its better to change the phone or go for custom rom

Idk if this is really news since there's a how to root MIUI 8.1.3.0 guide already
But im getting Miui 8.1.3.0 MBCMIDI pushed to me atm, and its a big 1.3GB rom.
All it says is "Optimization - improved system security (11-29"
If there's anything can I can do to help the community regarding this rom lmk + instructions and ill do my best to help..

You should really post that in news and discussion forum, not here. This sub forum is for ROM, kernel development, so this post got nothing to do whit it.
Puff... They didn't touched the kernel side from 8.1.2 same version, same signature. Will probably skip this one...

i just bought a used Mimax today and it says im up to date on 7.3.14 global stable.

If you're still on miui 7 and you checked for update and it says you're up to date, there's a chance that your rom is currently running a fake global ROM. I had that experience with my Mi 5 before.
Check here http://en.miui.com/download-302.html , global ROM now for hydrogen is 8.1.4.0.
Well i had this phone for long time already but only yesterday got it to gui. When i get it somewhat usable rather than just paperclip i will drop zips and stuff

It doesn't xd I'm writing notch support on my own
Got bootctl to work and also modem (can't get signal but it detects network so it might be hw issue not the sfos issue). So there is progress! Slowly but i'm getting there

Hello so i noticed that xiaomi is rolling out miui 12.5.2 update to some users and its currently available in the xiaomi firmware update as a "Stabe-beta" variant but i am still on 12.0.10.0 so what if i download the stable-beta update through firmware updater and flash it through miui updater will it be okay ?? ofcourse i am talking about flashing indian version of the update not global or changed regions one ??

Sorry for dissapointing you but i havent really tried any other roms
I have been using this ROM for a few days without anything critical.
The only issue I notice is that VolTE does seem to be working; I do not get the HD symbol on phone calls (I did before on other various custom ROMs and on Stock)
Also, enabling Zygisk on Magisk 25.2 causes a bootloop.
Do NikGapps work on this ROM?

As mentioned, go to the soft update, click settings icon, and select trial version.
From there click the middle public beta
And join the beta.
Sorry I expressed myself badly, the beta is available but it is not possible to access it because the maximum number of participants has been reached
