Anyone found a way to change the fingerprint animation to one of the other two that leaked online in Jan?
There's nothing built in that I've seen to allow changing of the fingerprint animation.

Hello,
I am using the fingerprint scanner and I have adjusted the DPI of the phone to 400. The fingerprint scanner on the lock screen is a bit off scale and I was wondering if anyone knew the app that I need to adjust back to stock in AppSettings to get the scanner on the lockscreen to line up correctly.

I am looking to replace CyanogenMod on my N6, but am attached to their System Profiles feature. Specifically the ability to completely skip the lockscreen when attached to WiFi or Bluetooth.
The new LP system security feature adds a lockscreen that I don't want, and cannot bypass even with lockscreen notifications turned off.
I'd be happy with the stock ROM and a tweak to bypass the lockscreen if anyone knows of one.
I've been reading all of the various ROM features, but none have this listed (that I saw. Bit of a needle in a haystack). It may be there, but I missed it, or just not considered important enough to list as a feature.

I just use tasker and secure settings for this. Though I haven't used 5.1 so cannot confirm it works

I noticed that when I set a photo to use as my lockscreen wallpaper that it looks super dull and washed out. I use the fingerprint lock, so I went into settings and set it to swipe. Well the picture looks perfectly vivid and bright on the lockscreen now. But when I switch back to fingerprint it gets dull.
it's a very annoying issue
It happens with any lock screen security option. I guess it's suppose to be a visual representation of having a security.

I think it's some sort of bug, because I noticed that if you set the screen mode on CINEMA the lockscreen wallpaper is displayed with right brughtness and right colors.

I have bought the Mi8 Dipper and would like to know if the fingerprint sensor is more then just reading fingerprint.
For example lots of device has fingerprint gestures.
Something like sliding down opens qs panel sliding up opens something else sliding to right and left for switching pictures in gallery.
I can't find any settings for that in latest Miui 10 EU ROM ... so is it just Miui or doesnt it even have the ability for that.

To my knowledge the only other fancy thing than read fingerprints so to double as a camera shutter button, but that's about it. Though that being said, as I understood all fingerprint reader gestures are just software so should be impossible to get modded maybe?
There are apps on Google Play to do this. I was able to use the finger print sensor as back-button but it stopped working after a while and I couldn't get it working again.

I have a oneplus 10 pro, and as always out of the box I unlock the developers options and deactivate the animation scale to make the phone run smooth and fast.
Everything was working ok, but after the last update NE2215_13.1.0.521 (EX01), even though the animations scale are still deactivated, the phone is running slower and with sort of animations.
Is anyone else experiencing the same? has anyone been able to fix this?

Same problem here.
I haven't had this issue, try changing from we QHD if activated to FHD. Cycle 60hz to 120hz again.
Tbh it's more than likely something a wipe would fix.
If you've gone from android 12 to 13 then that would explain a lot.
It seems to be caused by pocket mistouch prevention activating when swiping down the notification panel on the lock screen so just turrned off pocket mistouch prevention and animations are no longer bugged.
