Hi all,
I have XFinity Mobile's Galaxy Note 9.
As of 3:40 AM, March 12, I did a manual check for a software update and an update was surprisingly found OTA, looked at the release notes and the update says it's the Pie update, rather than being CSAA which was the firmware released for some of the U.S. carriers, it was CSB3.
Does anyone here on XDA know what changes has occurred between the CSAA Pie update and this CSB3 Pie update?

Compass was fixed , Bluetooth issues were fixed, and it has the Feb security patch

Are you talking B133 or B135/136. I got B133 just the other day. I am in the UK myself.

I got the b133 and has the July patch just wondering when the August patch will come as the so called gpu turbo is suppose to in that update. I read that online just hope it's true

It takes nearly a month after showing on Firmware finder. So minimum 3 weeks bud.

The whole official OTA-update policy seems a bit random to me. Living in the Netherlands, i got B121 out of the box, but received no official OTA's after that. So I used FF to upgrade to B130. After that, I received B131 automatically on about the same day that FF listed it as 'approved for installation'. So a month later I expected to receive B132 shortly after listed as 'approved'. But that didn't happen. I waited another month to see B133 being listed as approved. So I checked for an official OTA in the system updater. Was not available, but when I checked 'Download full package' in that same updater, the FULL-OTA of B133 popped up, so I installed it.
Anyway, I do have the impression Huawei has improved update policy. I see more OTA's popping up on other devices in my house than before.

Can I ask what that firmware finder is. I'm new to honor devices as a whole I gather it finds firmware but is it for desktop or online site.

Firmware finder shows 3.757GB update for COR-AL00... Dated 2018-10-26...
So... Did anybody get the update? Normal "check update" does nothing...

What is the latest update for indian version before emui 9??
Mine is at 8.2.0.125 but firmware finder shows upto 8.2.0.150 before pie which is approved for installation!?

Pie update has been rolled out and you'll get it within this week as it is rolled in batches. But if you want to try it right now. Just install the beta version.

I don't think you can just download the beta and use it, want there a limited number of entries for beta

I check this forum from time to time and of course noticed that you guys got the Pie update. Apparently the update roll out stopped because of some bugs. I'm now unsure if it resumed yet or not?
I'm asking because I'm still on October 2018 Patch. I'm rooted I didn't want to bother with updating to Nov 2018 Security patch but cause of the hassle of unrooting etc. I wanted to update directly to pie, but since I didn't get any updates for 2 months now I'm asking myself if maybe I need Nov 2018 update as a prequisite for Pie or if it's normal that I didn't get it yet. I'm located in Germany.

Sry but this doesn't answer my question.
I want to know if November 2018 update is a prequisite for Pie (in this case, ain't I seeing the pie update because I'm still on Oct 18?) or can I directly upgrade from October 18 to it and it just isn't available officially yet over OTA in Germany.

Not seeing pie either,I'm from Croatia and also on the October Security patch.
Hi! I bought this phone on December 27. and I got a notification the same day about the update to pie. So I updated it from factory oreo to pie December 5 update. Btw, I'm from Serbia.
I was only able to update to pie after updating to November patch. As long as i was in October patch it would only show the available update to November patch. And once i updated to November, the pie update showed up. I use Magisk so unrooting is as easy as flashing stock boot back and then updating.
Hi all. I have a note 9 exynos dual sim from malaysia. I am still on Jan patch and havent received any feb patch ota. Heard from a lot of folks that feb patch is already rolled out. Is there any link that I can use to download this ota and flash?

I've filtered out firmware updates for Malaysia (XME) and can only see one update for Pie on Feb 10, 2019. I don't think there's rollout for February patch rolled out for Malaysia yet. You can download SamMobile app and get informed about any new rollouts.

It comes with below message that you have the latest software. when i checked roms in sammobile i see my rom is not updated. please help me how to fix it? or with what version rom should i flash my note 9? and my phone is not rooted.

Have the same problem with my SM-n9600 cant get no update, I have to flash to get updates.

This is my exact problem no update all I can do is flash a new ROM for the new security patch.
