You need to unlock critical partitions then only can flash stock rom
Use this command -
fastboot flashing unlock_critical

but this will earse all my data right?

Yes .. if I remember correctly this unlock_critical will erase data. That's why it is advised to do it right after unlocking bootloader.
BTW .. the OTA Flasher that is linked at item no. 3, also available at originally posted on XDA - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78123332&postcount=457
can download without waiting time.

[Q] cannot root: hboot 2.0 ver. 2.3.5

Hello community!!
I'm new to the HTC/Incredible S world, I have a rooted/cfw LG P500 and now I bought this great phone. Problem is that I updated it to the last official version before this try.
So I went to the official site and I followed successfully the HTC site steps to unlock the bootloader (golden card?) and now I'm trying to follow the guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385084
But I have some problems.
First of all clearly the revolutionary program doesn't work (HBOOT 2.0).
I booted to the bootloader (power+volume down) and I had the error "main version is older" then I copied on the SD card the file for the recovery PG32IMG_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_KT_KR_2.32.1010.1_Radio_20.2810.30.085AU_3805.06.03.16_M_release_199684_signed.zip, I renamed it PG32IMG.zip, it loads it but when I press recovery it gives me an allert icon (the phone with a red triangle + red "!" ) and it does nothing.
I installed the SuperUser app like it is written in the post but when I type SU under the adb shell and it gives me "permission denied".
What could I do?
Is it even possible to downgrade it to a rootable/customable version?
If someone write a guide for rooting with the last update installed from original s-on step to step will be very util and a lot of people will be gratefull!
Inviato dal mio HTC Desire usando Tapatalk
Bootloader unlock and goldcard are 2 seperate things. Bootloader unlock is required at the moment for flashing recovery and superuser for rooting the phone.
Gold card is required for flashing another carriers rom.
Read this thread about recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104765
After that you can enter recovery mode and flash a superuser zip file http://goo-inside.me/superuser/
My guide should be able to downgrade your rom and get s-off after that (if after researching you decide you require it) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1373697
Hope this helps
Thanks, I'm going to try this as soon as I can, I'll write back the results
edit:
It seems like I can't even pass the first step, the 4EXT Recovery Updater doesn't work, it crushes at EVERY menu item....
(I waited 5+minutes and I had the internet connection on).
I checked and the boot loader says "unlocked". Notice that my device is, of course, NOT rooted (at least for what I know for "rooted", it is still unlocked by the HTC official method)....
you need root to use the recovery updater.
download the recovery image and flash it in fastboot
Thanks it is finally working!!
I totally forgot that you flash with fastboot via windows console, not within the bootloader....
I hope to finally install something tonight, I'll post some news later.
Thanks again!
edit:
Nothing..I went successfully to the RUU downgrade part but that doesn't work, I tried from the normal system and it blocked because of the hboot version, then I tried within the phone fastboot phase and it blocked again, giving the security failed error...

Could I get a couple of screenshots to help with debugging please?
Sure, ASAP
Hi!
I have successfully rooted my phone on the last update 2.3.5
The steps I made:
1. Going to htcdev and unlocked the bootloader
2. Flashed a recovery image from clockworkmod.com
3. Installed SuperUser from clockworkmod.com using recovery
I collected the information from a few threads here and had no problem.
I didn't tested custom roms, all I wanted was to root and worked just fine.
I can detail my steps if someone need it.
edit:
It seems I cannot post the images, too noob ....
Anyway:
I had a photo of the phone in the custom recovery mode, another of the phone with the 4EXT recovery successfully flashing his recovery, another of the script of your post running with this message:
(no errors)
Do you have an unlocked bootloader from htcdev.com (I have)
y OR n:y
<waiting for device>
...
(bootloader) Lock successfully..
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 0.239s
Note: run the RUU in fastboot mode
If all steps etc etc
Now if I try to run RUU NOT in fastboot mode I receive the message:
The Utility of ROM udating can't update the Android device.
Take a valid ROM updating Utility and try again
(I'm translating from Italian)
If I try to go to fastboot after running the script I need to go to hboot using volume down+power since you can go to fastboot only through bootloader and HIS first step is to check the bootloader file (am I right?)
so, since it is again LOCKED the custom boot file I was using PG32IMG_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_KT_KR_2.32.1010.1_Radio_20.2810.30.085AU_3805.06.03.16_M_release_199684_signed
doesn't work anymore and the old one neither so I have to unlock it again and it goes the loop......
So this is the situation, I hope I will be able to post some image soon...

Thanks, I did too the 3 steps, rooting my device successfully...
But I think I need to do a total S-OFF (deeper than the HTC one) to use the CFWs.
It should be like: follow the above 3 steps and:
4. use some script/console command to prepair the device
5. DOWNGRADE it to 2.2 or something
6. use the "revolutionary" Utility to S-OFF permanently
7. flash the ROMS from the recovery
I cannot pass the 4th step.

You don't need s-off for CFW's, just the unlocked bootloader. I cannot help you any further until I see screenshots as I'm getting lost in your descriptions. Ctrl prtscrn, paste in paint.
Well, I have the screenshots but I can't post web links in the forum (new user).
Let's see if I can flash some cfw in the mean time
Now I can post

After you flash a custom ROM in recovery, you have one last step to do to prevent the hang. You extract the boot.img file from the ROM's zip file and then manually flash it in FASTBOOT mode on the phone:
FASTBOOT flash boot [path to boot.img]
That totally solved the problem
Thank you ALL!!!

Hi,
Please list the methods you use from the start. I have also 2.3.5 and hboot 2.0. cant manage to downgrade, i always getting an error.
Thanks
htc developer site -> unlock bootloader
find and download this file:
PG32IMG_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_KT_KR_2.32.1010.1_Radio _20.2810.30.085AU_3805.06.03.16_M_release_199684_s igned.zip
copy it on the sd card and renamto to pg32IMG.zip
reboot in power+volume down mode
go in fastboot
from your pc use fastboot to flash this recovery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104765
copy to sd card the superuser file:
http://goo-inside.me/superuser/
enter recovery mode and flash the zip
Then if u want to flash a custom rom you dont need to downgrade, just copy the zip into the sd card, flash it, copy on the sd card the boot.img you find inside the rom zip file and reboot in fastboot (power+volume down)
FASTBOOT flash boot [path to boot.img]
and reboot and the job is done!

[Tip]{All firmwares} Easily root an Xperia ZR with unlocked bootloader

thHello all,
This is a known way to root any android phone with an unlocked bootloader. I tested it on my ZR, it just works fine and is easy & fast to follow !
It works for all firmwares and it's a good way to root the latest stock rom (eg .67 / .244 or even KitKat firmwares).
Note: I'm not responsible if something happens to your device ! Just follow the procedure and all'd be fine !
Quick instructions
Unlock bootloader
Flash any CWM-containing kernel
Boot into recovery and flash su-bin-arm-signed.zip (or this one that worked for me on KitKat)
Revert back to stock kernel
Install SuperSU and update su.bin
Enjoy
Instructions for noobies (yes I didn't forget you !)
Unlock your bootloader.
You may want to backup your TA before. In this case you need an already rooted phone. I personnaly downgraded mine to .310 then rooted it with Doom's toolkit to be able to backup my TA.
Download and copy the following file to your phone: su-bin-arm-signed.zip (or this one for 4.3)
Install the firmware you want to be on when the phone gets rooted
Flash a kernel that contains CWM, for example this one which comes from CM 10.1 FXP234a (you can also try to hotboot it, didn't work for me).
You can flash it with a command line or a soft like FlashTool:
In FlashTool select Flash > Fastboot mode
Connect the phone in fastboot mode : when powered off, connect it to your laptop while pressing Volume + key. You can release the key when the LED turns blue
Select the kernel to flash and run the operation
> Now do not try to boot normally the phone because it won't boot, as the kernel's not compatible with the stock rom.
Boot into recovery:
Power on the phone
When the led turns violet at boot for 3", press Volume +
Now you are in recovery. Use Volume buttons to navigate and Power to confirm.
Select Install zip > Choose zip from sdcard or external sdcard (depending where you put the .zip to flash)
Choose su-bin-arm-signed.zip
Confirm
Go to Advanded > Power off
Flash back the stock kernel corresponding to the firmware installed on the phone (.244 -> .244 kernel). You can for example use Flashtool:
Download the .ftf of the build installed on your phone (no matter the location of the firmware)
Run Flashtool
Do Flash > Flashmode and select the .ftf you downloaded
Uncheck anything on the "Wipe" colon
Check everything on the "Exclude" colon except "KERNEL"
You should now only have kernel.sin and loader.sin on the content colon.
Click on Flash
Connect the phone in flash mode : when powered off, connect it to your laptop while pressing Volume - key. You can release the key when the LED turns green
Reboot the phone, install SuperSU, run it and update the su binary
You can relock the bootloader with Backup TA to recover warranty or Bravia Engine 2 without losing root.
May help:

Backing up TA Partition can only be done BEFORE you unlocked bootloader.
Thanks NeoJeo for this awesome rooting method! Flashed the Nordic 4.2.2 ROM on my Xperia ZR and it is working like a charm .
I've backed up my phone's TA partition just in case something goes wrong and I need to re-lock it and give it for servicing .

Hello,
No, not possible for the moment. For other devices such as the Xperia Z we can relock the bootloader by flashing a .ftf but without recovering the drm.
The backup and restore tool is the better way to reloock but it needs a backup before you unlock the BL.

If "select kernel to flash" says something like
"writing 'boot'...

It means your bootloader is not unlocked yet.

I am sure the BL is unlocked already as I flashed CM10.1 before.
anyway, Thanks for your advise
Edit: Use PRFCreated method for lollipop 5.0.2->5.1.1
Edit: For windows 8/10, you need to enable test mode for S1Boot fastboot driver install, you can also sign it with Zadig afterwards and turn off test mode.
Code:
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
(reboot)
Thanks NeoJeo for the method!
For some reason, my friend's new machine have to use flashtool to create a ftf backup first after updating the official firmware . Using other kernels will fail and creates a bootloop. (Maybe carrier locked? No idea.)
Bootloop can be solved by re-flashing the stock firmware completely and redo all the steps again, so its quite safe.

7. download and run backup ta from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598 , keep the zip file for later use
- Backup TA only works with rooted rom
- If you want to use the latest andriod continue below:
7 download the latest firmware with xperifirm and bundle it with flashtool.
8. upgrade / flash your system to the latest version (see step 4, but use the latest firmware file instead)
9. get unlock key from http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/unlock/step1
11. download andriod sdk from google and install http://developer.android.com/
12. open SDK manager, scroll down and check Google USB Driver then click install packages
^ if doesnt work, then try: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lgs2m90p1et87hx/platform-tools.7z
^ USB drivers is also avaible under flashtools/drivers
13. go to \sdk\platform-tools
(replace %key% below with the key from sony's email)
run fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x%key% in cmd
or create a plain text file and save it as a .bat with
Code:
fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x[B][I]%key%[/I][/B] [user=607132]@pause[/user]
^ If stuck at 'waiting for device', you can use flashtool.exe to enter 'fastboot mode via adb' (run Flashtool.exe -> Flash device -> fastbootmode
), then re-try the command above
^ while in fastboot mode, your phone screen is off and led is blue
- Now you bootloader is unlocked.
14. put this zip file into your external sd from http://download.chainfire.eu/supers...om/s/sy1vzzq9ygfvqvb/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.01.zip
15. run Flashtool.exe -> Flash device -> fastbootmode
16. reboot into fastboot mode (via ADB)
17. after led turns blue, select kernel to flash and choose boot.img from http://www.mediafire.com/download/4bs9zy3z4sl1lvl/boot.img
^ if doesnt work, try: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y5is541wd5lck79/boot.img
18 click reboot device into system while pressing Volume +
- if LED does not turn purple at all, something must be wrong
- press Volume + as long as but NOT before the LED turn purple.
^ return to step 4 if needed, bootloader may be not properly unlocked.
19 select install zip -> choose zip from external sdcard
^ Volume+ - is up and down, Power is select
20 confirm
21 go to advance -> power off
22 remove battery and plugin usb to enter flash mode
^ Flashtool.exe should show the phone is connected in flash mode
^ But there seems to be a time limit where CM 10.1 remount itself automatically with the wired blue thing popping up and then crash
23 return to Flashtool.exe -> Flash device -> Flashmode
24 choose the .ftf either from the one in step 8 or the one you have downloaded
25 Uncheck anything on the "Wipe" colon
26 Check everything on the "Exclude" colon except "KERNEL"
^ You should now only have kernel.sin and loader.sin on the content colon
27 FLASH!
- if bootloop occurs, return to step 4 lol
^ alternatively you can just redo step 24, but this time "Wipe" everything and "Include" everything. If it boots, then jump right to step 14 and retry installing the zip
28 Install super su in google play
^ first boot may need battery in and usb removed
29 (optional) Re-run backup-ta to restore the zip from step 7 for Relocking bootloader (and check for rooted at the same time)
- if backup ta failed because of no su rights, return to step 4 lol
EDIT: do not re-lock bootloader if using the new img
EDIT:
Upgrading should keep your settings and stuff, unless something went wrong that you have to wipe data for a clean install.
Quick check list:
1. Most Important. Make sure you still have your bootloader backups.
Run Backup-TA to backup your current bootlocker if needed (new version here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598). Backup-TA only works on rooted.
2. If you somehow lost it, re-obtain your unlock key from http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/unlock/step1
3. Have your Flashtool and SDK ready (https://www.dropbox.com/s/xyk493qa8psydrf/flashtool-0.9.13.0-windows.exe, https://www.dropbox.com/s/lgs2m90p1et87hx/platform-tools.7z)
4. If you need the stock firmware from your carrier, remember to clear contents in something like: C:\ProgramData\Sony Ericsson\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs and/or C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db\13740270\blob_fs (or something similar in %appdata% for windows XP)
5. You can use any ADB backup tool or Sony Companion to backup your settings, best timing is right after OS update but before rooting.
To do:
1. Either upgrade with Sony Companion and use Flashtool -> SEUS Decrypt, or download by XperiFirm to create your own firmware (Will take a while to load depending on the power level of your PC.)
or just use the firmware people uploaded
2. open Flashtool.exe -> Flash device -> fastbootmode
3. reboot into fastboot mode (via ADB)
4. Unlock you bootlocker by running "fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x%key%" (%key% is your unlock key from Sony's email)
^ (Last time I checked, some people say they need to update SDK first.)
^ (unlock key may change after new firmware is flashed)
^ you need to enter fastboot mode via ADB first, or it will get stuck at 'waiting for device'
5. select kernel to flash and choose boot.img
6. click reboot device into system while pressing Volume + (press Volume + after the LED turn purple)
7. select install zip -> choose zip from external sdcard -> your-su-zip-file (http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu)
^ 'Volume+' 'Volume-' and 'Power'.
8. go to advance -> power off
^ If you get a boot loop, simply remove battery and plugin usb cable to enter flashmode and re-flash the new firmware again.
^ remember to re-enable "Usb debugging" under "Developer options"
^ tap "About phone" -> "Build number" 10 times to unlock "Developer options"
[/hide]
Thanks this works great but I am unable to successfully install a recovery with this method. Has anyone had the same issues??
Sent from my C5503 using xda app-developers app
Hello,
@awwer2002: After you succeed rooting the device did you install any recovery ? If yes, which one ?
@gmengass: Which recovery are you trying to install ?

I wanted install magisk, but when i install on slot_b Magisk Manager says "not installed" so wtf. I tried set slot_a but automatic magisk install on slot_b.

Make a backup of everything as your phone will probably be completely wiped!
Download and unpack jasmine_global_images_V9.6.10.0.ODIMIFE_8.1
Download and unpack miflash_unlock-en-3.3.525.23
Download TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20180804.img
Make sure you are a developer and have enabled "unlock bootloader" in developer options.
Connect phone to pc and use "adb -d reboot bootloader" to go into bootloader mode (Or hold vol down + power)
Unlock bootloader from pc:
Code:
fastboot_unlock.exe flashing unlock_critical
fastboot_unlock.exe flashing unlock
Reboot phone.
Copy boot.img from jasmine_global_images_V9.6.10.0.ODIMIFE_8.1\images\boot.img to your phone
Install magisk 16.7 on your phone and use it to patch the boot.img
Connect phone to pc and use "adb -d reboot bootloader" to go into bootloader mode (Or hold vol down + power)
Flash TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20180804.img:
Code:
fastboot.exe flash boot_b TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20180804.img
fastboot.exe set_active b
Hold volume up and reboot phone to enter TWRP
Code:
fastboot.exe reboot
In TWRP go to reboot and select boot A, then go back without actually rebooting
Install the patched boot.img into boot and then reboot
Now you should have root and magisk should work.

For the backup you mean all SD (virtual) data, as all the app will be restored from Google account, correct?
I've already unlocked my bootloader, have I to unlock it again with this code ?
The wiping is due only to the bootloader unlock ? If I will have not to unlock it again, willn't my phone be wiped?

Yes, I was refering to bootloader unlock. Flashing the changed img should not wipe the device. But it's better to be safe than sorry.

Ok
Coz I unlocked the bootloader with simply
Fastboot OEM unlock
And I would like to avoid to backup/restore all (I did the unlock as soon as I bought my A2 just to not have to do it again when a root system will be available and not to have my device wiped)
Attached you can see my unlock status.
I think I'm ok, am I not ?
In your opinion, can you proceed with other step (skipping the unlock)?

[GUIDE] [WIKI] [Realme XT] Unlocking, Unbricking, Custom recovery, GSI guide and more

Realme XT Wiki
For convenience : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=304989
First things first.
DISCLAIMER : Use this guide at your own risk. I won't be responsible for you bricking your device due to following this guide. It's also necessary to back up your data before you attempt anything.
Realme XT is not really a developer friendly device as they claim to be for the following reasons.
- Bootloader restricts flashing critical partitions and certain fastboot options are disabled like
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
- The flash tool is only available to service centres.
- Kernel sources are not actively updated by realme.
- Nil response to developer's queries.
Code:
[B][U]Table of contents :[/U][/B]
- Unlocking the bootloader
- Unbrick guide
- TWRP guide
- Upgrade guide
- Downgrade guide
- Project Treble for Realme XT
- Links
For unlocking the bootloader, follow the official instrutions from here :
https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1184740422732218368
As of 28/03/20, you can unlock the bootloader in Realme UI. The official guide for XT is still not updated by realme, but the bootloader unlock app tool that was released for realme3pro works for XT.
UNBRICK GUIDE FOR REALME XT : (FASTBOOT)
Most bricks that happen with devices are softbricks. This means you can boot into stock recovery using key combination or you can access fastboot.
Hardbricks are where your device basically does nothing no matter what you do.
If you are on Color OS 6 or realme UI on locked bootloader :
- Switch off your device
- Press volume up + power button hold it until it finishes starting up.
- You will see the recovery menu now
- Press online update and connect it to wifi and follow instructions
If you are on color os 6 on unlocked bootloader :
Prerequisite:
1. You need to have unlocked bootloader
2. Platform tools setup and added to system environmental variables under windows
OR
Just install this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
Since custom ROMS don't deal with critical partitions, there is very less chance that the critical partitions are messed up. Majority of the times you would be fine with just flashing the boot image, system image, vendor image, vbmeta.
Instructions for color os 6 (Android pie firmware) :
Download the stock pie A16 fastboot image from the links section and extract it :
Just flash by executing the following commands :-
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
fastboot flash oppo_sec oppo_sec.img
fastboot flash modem modem.img
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash DRIVER DRIVER.img
fastboot reboot
If you are on Realme UI on unlocked bootloader :
Prerequisite :
Download the stock Realme UI fastboot image from the links section and extract it :
Note : The zip file has other partitions too. Hopefully, you shouldn't need them.
Just flash the boot, system, vendor and vbmeta by executing the following commands
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
fastboot flash oppo_sec oppo_sec.img
fastboot flash modem modem.img
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash DRIVER DRIVER.img
fastboot reboot
Guide to Custom Recovery:
Prerequisite:
1. You need to have unlocked bootloader
2. Platform tools setup and added to system environmental variables under windows
OR
Just install this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
TWRP Recovery
Orangefox Recovery
Instructions to install TWRP recovery:
Run this command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
You can install orangefox recovery by flashing it via TWRP recovery or by extracting the recovery.img from orangefox recovery.zip file.
Upgrade guide :
You can always find the latest update from here : https://www.realme.com/in/support/software-update
Upgrading from android pie to android 10 carries the risk of bricking your device. Be it locked or unlocked. Thus proceed with caution and ONLY use stock recovery to update from android pie to android 10.
If you are on locked bootloader,
Step 1 :Simply download the update of your choice from the Links section and try to open it in stock file manager.
Note : If it doesn't show the update option in stock file manager, just rename the file from *.zip to *.ozip and try again
Step 2 : Press reboot immediately after the flashing is done
Step 3 (Very important) : Pray that everything works. Bricks can happen to anyone.
If you are on unlocked bootloader,
Step 1:In case you already have TWRP working on pie, simply flash the official stock android pie A16 through twrp and let it boot.
Step 2:Now, let it fully boot into the system
Step 3: Go to stock file manager and follow similar instructions as is for locked bootloader that's written above.
Downgrade guide :
Prerequisite:
In case you are in realme UI (Android 10) and want to roll back to android pie for any reason, you need to backup your data and flash stock pie A16 via TWRP
Step 0 : Back up your data and download stock A16 firmware from the links section below
Step 1 : Go to TWRP and flash stock pie
Step 2 : Flash stock pie again
Step 3 : Format data and reboot
Project Treble for Realme XT :-
You could refer here for what works and what doesn't
https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/realme-XT
Prerequisite :
1. You need to have unlocked bootloader
2. Platform tools setup and added to system environmental variables under windows
OR
Just install this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
3. You need to be on realme UI (Android 10)
Typically, you could install GSI without even using TWRP.
Step 1: Download any A/B arm64 GSI of your choice
Step 2: Erase userdata using the command
Code:
fastboot -w
Step 3: Flash system.img using fastboot command
Code:
fastboot erase system && flash system system.img
Step 4: Flash RUI vbmeta with flags
Code:
fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta.img
Optional : Flashing TWRP helps with installing magisk and device specific treble fixes and is highly recommended.

I am on coloros 6 (a16) and i have unlocked bootloader (twrp not installed) so how can i update it to rui. Via stock file manager method or just install twrp in a16 and flash rui(c_02) ozip in twrp. So, Which will be a better and safe way to update and avoid bricking the phone according to you.

I bought a realme xt and upgraded it to realme ui version c04 but I get some random crash reports I don't know what is it they just randomly pop up 1-2 times per day along with a screenshot I am uploading those please can someone check.
My device bootloop'ed after following your downgrade tutorial. Tried boot unbrick it like your tutorial to no avail
Anyone who is now used to with this device and have done all these steps from Unlocking bootloader to flashing recoveries to installing custom & Stock Roms, can you please tell me what are the senarios in which this device can brick and only restored by Realme service center? I mean what possible error we can make that gives error of boot/recovery destroyed and only needs to visit realme service center?
I am very new to realme, before getting started with unlocking bootloader, i want to be sure about my steps, actually all i need is to use titanium backup for old data transfer of apps, my phone records etc, and most importantly using viper4android. This is all i am going to do after unlocking bootloader.

A reply this late isnt probably useful. But for others who refer this thread, once locked, it can be saved only by flashtool if you cant access stock recovery.
Fastboot commands not working
Hey there.
I am using realme xt with realme UI and i tried to unlock the bootloader. The bootloader is unlocked successfully but the fastboot commands arent working now on the device. This is whats happened while relocking the bootloader and same error for flashing recovery.

this also happened while flashing recovery also. And I am kind of stuck i cant relock the bootloader and cant install custom recovery to root the device.
Kindly, guide me to solve this problem. Thanks in Advance.
