DBRAND Grip cover for the Poco F1 - Xiaomi Poco F1 Accessories

Hey guys I know how much y'all fellow POCO lovers luv the Poco F1. As much as you all love the phone I'm sure the phone's safety and well-being. I've researched for quite some months now and I couldn't find a case to my liking and taste (except the Spigen one, still it lacks somewhere I feel)
You all know about **DBRAND** they started making some amazing cases for phones named GRIP and screen protectors called PRISM if you all guys could contact them they will start making some products for our Poco F1 as well
Just go to contact, select new product request category and send them a request

done mate. the grip would be awesome on poc.

Skins

So, we all know the bigger skin-providing companies (dBrand, Slickwraps).
I was looking for skins, but haven't found any. I do noticed that Slickwraps provides skins for the Xiaomi MI5, Redmi Note 4 and 3.
Do you guys think they'll release skins for the MI6?
My opinion is that they should; the MI6 is goddamn slippery phone!
Maybe they can't do it because of the four sides curves on the back glass?

Petition for RhinoShield to make cases for OnePlus 5t

So I've been on a lookout for the best alternative bumper to go with a OnePlus 5t and a dBrand. As much as I'd like to pair it with clear cases, there's still something that only a dbrand + bumper only could satisfy. Probably feeling that textured skin you carefully selected that covering with a clear case simply couldn't give.
If you're sharing the same frustration, please help us be heard by RhinoShield guys!
Sign this petition to make a RhinoShield crash guard for OnePlus 5t. We are on 114 signs so far. They said they would only create one when there are enough requests so aside from signing here, you could also email them at [email protected]
Thanks folks!

Any news from Rhinoshield?
The phone has been out for almost 4 months now... I don't think the bumper will be coming for the 5T

In your opinion.
I hate normal cases and love bumpers. The Rhino is awesome and feels cool. I used a lot of Crash Guard and this is my favourite case without question.
UAG is the best alternative

Clear & hard cases for Mi 8?

Hey there, I've been obsessing with clear cases lately to show off the blue back. So far I haven't found any with rigid feel to it. I also want the case to have raised edges on the front, which would protect the screen when I put my phone face-down.
Any suggestions?

Nilkin Frosted isn't transparent. It doesn't have button overlay for my buttons, so no.

I don't think now there is plastic cover, but metal is better.
I am a big fan of imak soft clear tpu cases. Been using them for the last three phones. Easy to remove to insert a second sim.
Don't feel hard.

Thank you. But the problem is, I want it to feel hard to give that feeling of "good protection". The case you suggest seems flexible, but how flexible? Is it just as flexible as the one provided by Xiaomi in the box?

I know metal is better, I'd like a metal case too, even a metal bumper would be nicer. Anything comes to mind?
>Metal is better
No it's not. It causes massive massive issues with Wifi/4g/GPS receiption
None that's good enough to date.

It may take more time for the case manufacturers to realise the Xiaomi Mi 8 even exists unlike the top two brands.
In hope they'll make hybrid transparent cases, I'm keeping an eye on Olixar ExoShield Crystal Clear.
Earlier this year, I purchased an OnePlus 6 (not for myself) and I also ordered a Ringke Fusion and a Spigen Ultra Hybrid so this other person can decide which is best and use the other for spare. Due to time constraints and after watching an idiotic YouTuber smacking his phone on the desk, I also purchased an Olixar ExoShield Crystal Clear.
Spigen's edges seems slippery, ever conscious it'll fall out of my hand, the case fitted oaky. The Ringke Fusion seems gimmicky, it fitted better but it gives an impression it'll not protect the device when dropped.
Olixar, a relatively new company, I thought would not match the quality of the two better known brands.
To my surprise, this ExoShield fitted just perfectly, the tranparency was very clear as glass and the polycarbonate has a non scratch coating and non yellowing material but the most impressive thing of all is the edges have non slip material, it seems to want to hold my hand. This ExoShield was most impressive, difficult to describe with words.
It reminded me of my old Nexus 5 case Tech21 Impactology hybrid case (with trasluscent red/orange edges).
As I usually don't use glass screen protectors, this ExoShield will greatly help to protect the device so hopefully Olixar will make this model for the Mi 8.
I'm still waiting in hope that Olixar or Tech21 will have future offerings.
Psssssssssst. maybe if we all bombard/spam them, they'll take notice and bring out a model for Mi 8 ?

I tweeted Spigen asking for a Hybrid Crystal (?) Case, as I've used it before & they say "We'll see about that" which I think probably means "bye" so... Unless many many Mi 8 users actually care to voice their opinion I don't think they'd do anything (・へ・)

Still early days for the Western World to realise Xiaomi will become Big and with their aggressive pricing Xiaomi will eventually overtake all. Hopefully accessories suppliers will begin to supply the demand, just as OnePlus and Huawei had few quality accessories in the beginning out here in the Wild West.
What's not logical and incomprehensible is why Xiaomi doesn't have their own line of accessories. I for one am willing to pay for a quality case instead of those Chinese $1 junk (no disrespect, I'm also Chinese).
So, it does seem we need to enter Official Xiaomi Forum and stoke up some embers to recruit/entice owners to pestering.

Agree with ya. Xiaomi certainly has the brand name. I'd love that they make as many various cases for their (flagship at least) phones. I'd buy & trust those much more than the junk spam on Chinese retail websites :/
That being said, what Xiaomi is lacking right now is supply chain to penetrate western market. I truly hope for that
Nillkin nature tpu case is pretty thin and soft. Very similar to the soft case that comes with the MI 8.
Cafele transparent tpu case is a bit stiffer around the edges and does raise above the display.
Also looks good with the light color accents.
I'm preferring the Cafele one over stock xiaomi and the nillkin nature shell.

These AliExpress offering are so cheap that I purchased nearly all the clear models to try and all went into the bin.
They are not robust, doesn't offer a sense of security when in the hand.
I have an Olixar ExoShield Crystal Clear model for an OnePlus 6, liked it so much I purchased the same model for an iPhone and now hoping they will make the same model for the Mi 8.
Link is to a silly video review but rather humourous, @ 4:07-4:08/5:50 he hits the phone on the desk, I did that and it seems to bounce, more rubber than harder TPU material but the most impressive thing of all is the tactile non slip material.
I'd settle for a Ringke Fusion Clear or a Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal but given the choice the Olixar will be at the top of the list because of its edge.

Had a Ringke Fusion on my Xperia X Performance, yeah that one was p. good.
But like you said not much one can do wrong at 3$ with free shipping.

best case out of Ringke/KAPAVER/SPIGEN for POCO F1 and also tempered glass ?

Hi all,
I have gone through many threads here but for me i am planning to buy Ringke [Fusion-X] Compatible in over other cases only because it has MIL-STD 810G - 516.6 Certified Military Grade Drop Protection but none of the other cases claim this.
i just wanted to weather its a right decision why or why not ?
Also planning to buy Ringke tempered glass pack of three is somewhere around 1000rs im only considering it because it can probably go well with the case If i bought rengke ! in amazon.
I also fav Nillking tempered glass considering it is importing quality glass from Japan but not sure if it goes well with the ringke case, since all this are expensive i would want to make a wise choice.
Spending lot of time in researching all this just to PROTECT my POCO F1 !! if all this goes in vain in blink of short drop i would really be disappointed !
Also i thought of buying a onsitego mobile protection plan over oneassit, anyone bought and is it worthy enough ? or even when screen breaks lets just go for first copy screen all comes arounf 2500-4000rs, as i am spending quite a lot of money to protection is it really needed to buy insurance cover over again !? confused , any help with experienced people would genuinely help.
or is it the best choice to SELL the POCO F1 which i had ordered and buy sometoher phone say moto one power and leave with peace of mind ! ?
sorry cannot post amazon links as im new here.
Go for Ringke
I bought the Ringke Fusion case. I got it for Rs. 700 in a flash sale. It provides the best protection in comparison to other cases and it gives a premium look to the device. The lip is good enough to save the screen. I am using it with an edge to edge tempered glass. Checkout the pics!

Hi... Which is the tempered glass you are using ? do you have a link for the same ?
In one comment person said using edge-edge temper glass with ringke case makes tempered glass to push further more and not fitting properly.
In your case there is no issue like this, can you post more pics with your phone please and also link ?
Thanks

I dint buy poco , I dint see any valid reason to buy it and be concerned about the build quality, I bought Moto one power, it's a good mobile I'm satisfied with the performance at lesser price.
I feel when you invest so much then you should feel happy about it , if it's making you stressed it's not worth it.

Edit: Please delete this. I just noticed the replies above.
Could you please tell me which case and tempered glass combination did you go for the POCO F1 and why? I have been having the confusion among the three cases you have mentioned so it would be helpful if you could share your inputs. Also did you go for the Nillkin tempered glass? Does it work well with the case? Where did you get these and what prices? Thanks! [I would apologize for many questions but you do know my situation as I want to make the choice I don't regret.]
I aslo have ringke fusion x case,, spigen case .. kapaver case.. even Xundd Beetle case. But my favorite one's ringke.. ehehehe. I love the red one. And it compliments my NILLKIN TEMPERED GLASS.. ?????

dbrand Grip Case, worth it or not?

I'm on the hunt for a good Case for my 8T so far I couldn't find something that's not bulky and ugly looking, I'm looking for something strong but thin and light, is the dbrand Grip Case worth it or it's just a hype around a product because they have a good PR team or is it really as good as they say?
I had one for my OnePlus 6 before this phone and I really liked it, it was quite bulky but felt quite nice. Only problem was the bumper came away from the back really quickly but dbrand created a twitter thread explaining the problem and how they'd fix it so I'm assuming it is fixed
I know dbrand is worth it but I have always loved Urban armor gear they have always taken care of my phone I've had them for my last six devices and I could check my phone across the room and not have a scratch or break screen nothing because it does come up over the screen just a little bit on every device and I love that

I've used dbrand on my OnePlus 7Pro, OnePlus 8, and I have it pre-ordered for the 8t right now. It's never let me down and I've dropped my phone a lot. Plus whenever my 5 y/o gets a hold of my phone I'm not too concerned if he drops it and I have that case on. Also, it's not as bulky as you would expect it to be, at least that's my opinion on it.
Tech 21 has a decent clear and check case for the 8T. I have used the Dbrand case many times in the past and they are great but shipping is long and cost is high for something you could get on amazon etc.. I don't find them to be the "Grippiest" like they claim. But they are good, Hence why I've owned a few. I couldn't find the Tech 21 cases online but T-mobile has them for their 8T+5G version in store that is identical to the regular 8T in almost every way.
I got my Grip case today.. It does add a bit of bulk but it's a really nice case .. The cut outs are al in the right place and well spaced and even, the liner is a nice touch and well package..
Update.. the edge of the case is to narrow and close to the edge of the screen, that it messes with the different screen protectors I have tried.. one was the Oneplus 3d and another was a tpu style..
It has a simple design with wonderful grip, offers military-grade protection, and the click buttons I've ever experienced.
