I have the Sm-n9600. I want to do a hard reset on the phone. However I can't get the phone into recovery mode. It only boots into fastboot mode. Also the phone is stuck in a boot loop it goes on and off. There's no logo. Is there a way to do a hard reset using fastboot commands? If its possible, what are the commands?
Another question, is there a stock rom that has android info.Txt file inside of it?

I have unlocked the bootloader of my HTC one and now inside fastboot it shows UNLOCKED. I have also tried to flash both TWRP and CWM recoveries using fastboot method and both finishes with success with no error messages.
but the problem is that I can not boot into recovery. I dont know what happens exactly but seems rebooting into recovery fails and phone reboots again into normal mode so I see the htc boot screen twice and then I am in normal mode.
Do you have any ideas ?

I finally managed to install TWRP. the trick was to disable fast boot in power settings , then turn off the phone completely and enter hboot and then fastboot.
I was entering fastboot directly through adb and it was not working ! it should be a bug inside bootloader. it should not matter how you enter fastboot , but in this case it does matter ! I hope it helps someone.
my phone suddenly got bricked at night when i tried to go to recovery mode not working.but i am able to get into fastboot mode can anyone tell me which recovery should i flash and command for entering into recovery mode directly from fastboot mode or how to install recovery from fastboot.i tried sevenmax recovery(FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE)but after flashing recovery my phone didnt boot into recovery mode.plsssss Help immeediately..........:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

First of all, just don't cry. You are not a baby.
Secondly, this question has been asked a million times. Its everywhere in the Q&A section and the Guides' section. Just read through them and you'll get your answer.

Enter in fastboot mode and make a factory reset. If you dont have the USB Debugging active and cant use fastboot commands then try to enter the recovery mode.
And for those who will say that the phone doesnt have one, i had a problem trying to use the themes from mi a1 (android 8.1), and got a corrupted system and used the recovery mode to do a factory reset. Maybe this recovery is only available in situations like this, i dont know and im a noob in these, but what i can say is that i used it.

I am facing a weird issue on my MI 8. Stucked on fastboot mode. Actually i flashed a wrong device rom via twrp. Didnt flashed and got an error this rom is for violet devices. Done.
Then i tried to mount the storage. Nothing showed on my computer. Then i restarted the device. After restart it never came back to MIUI. Stuck at fastboot. Flashed fastboot mode rom. It give success. But nothing run. Still get back to fastboot mode. Please help. Either i damaged the internal storage or there is something else?

I got OP10Pro stucked at fastboot screen.
Fastboot enhance doesnt make device boot on fastbootD. neither with commands too.
Any solutions or offers ?

it was half brick phone. Someone flashed developer preview firmware and stucked at "setup lockscreen password". It always fails to setup password.
I flashed EU rom but didnt realize that there were no fastbootD mode. Due to this after fastboot flash it stucked on fastboot/bootloader screen.

I see. According to instructions online, reboot to fastbootd should be an option in the recovery, under advanced in the recovery menu.
However, when I entered recovery, I couldn't see the advanced option. It could be because my bootloader is not unlocked.
To enter recovery: Turn phone off. Then hold power button + vol down simultaneously until you see the oneplus logo.

It just struck me that If you you're stuck at the bootloader screen with regular fastboot available, you could try use fastboot enhance which can reboot your phone to fastbootd mode and from there you could flash stock payload.
