When I plug the earphones with the adaptor to USB mic doesn't work - Xiaomi Mi 9 Questions & Answers

Hi,
When I plug my cable earphones using the included usb plug adaptor, seems that the Mi9 cancels the Mic, both the mic from the earphones and the mic from the phone.
For example when playing PUBG, I can hear but can't tak bc mic is cancelled ... is there any way that the mic, at least of the phone is not muted when earphones connected with cable?
Thanks!!

A300 adapter + headphones?

I bought an HTC A300 adapter off eBay as I wanted the ability to both charge and listen to music at the same time. I tried plugging a pair of headphones (regular headphones, no mic) to the 3.5mm jack on the A300 and then plugged the A300 into the phone, however the phone still tries to play the music through it's internal speaker instead of the headphones. I tried plugging the A300 in first and then the headphones to see if that made a difference but got the same result.
Do I still need to use the ext-USB headphone adapter and plug that into the A300's ext USB jack in order for this to work? If so, what's the point of the 3.5mm jack? Does the 3.5mm jack only work properly with headsets (with microphones) and not standard headphones?

[Q] External Mic for htc hd 2

Hi there. I hope someone will help me...Basically I need dictaphone for interviews so I bought "Olympus ME-52W Noise Canceling Microphone" and I tryied to use it with my htc hd 2. Phone is showing connected headphones but mic is not working. So my question is can I use external mic with my phone or is it related with software? If someone know the answere pls help me!!!!!!! btw I use Resco audio recorder
The problem is because the connector on the mic is probably the same as a mono headphone plug. The phone thinks that you have headphones plugged in. The phone has a socket that accepts 4 pole jack plugs. That is it requires a special plug that has contacts for both left and right audio as well as for the mic.
If you really want to use the mic I would go to somewhere like radio shack or mapplins and buy a 3.5 mm 4 pole jack plug and a couple of sockets. You could then wire up your own adapter to let you use the mic and also a pair of headphones or speakers at the same time. The pin out for the plug should be easy to find on the net and so long as you can solder I wouldn't see any problems.
Other than that plugging the mic directly into the phone will defiantly not work.
shut up stupid douche

microphone doesn't work while 3.5mm jack is plugged in?

Hi,
Does this issue plague anyone else?
The microphone simply won't work when any 3.5mm jack is plugged in, regardless of whether it's headphones or a headset (with a built-in mic).
This is my 2nd phone, and I still can't use my mic when I have a standard set of headphones plugged in. Surely this isn't a design choice they made for the Z1?? What happens if I'm listening to music and I receive a call, do I have to UNPLUG my headphones and slap the phone to my face?
My gf's XZ works just fine with the 3.5mm jack plugged in.
It needs to be compatible with Z1 and it will work, afaik not many if any phones mic will work with headset plugged in if headset doesnt have mic or mic that is compatible to the three ringed plug.

Xiaomi Mi9 Usb-c to aux adapter problem

Hi! Recently got my MI9 and i love it! Apart from a missing Aux cord ofc Tried out the adapter that came with the phone in my car, but it seems like it's giving out a buzzing/static loud noise when using it although you can also hear the music. My old phone with aux plays without problem. Thoughts?
I have same problem with phone Roku app and headphones.
But sound from YouTube is fine.
Fuxd up drivers I reckon...
The adapter is really too tight fit as well into USBC port...
